Bought 3 salt water fish... 2 died within 24 hours more like 12 hours when i contacted them they said no warranty on salt water ... I've had a tank for years first time buying from Petco ... but definitely the last ... poor customer service at best... if i had issues with my tank or water all 3 would have died obviously that is not the issue... I'll never spend another penny at Petco EVER!!!

I came in to purchase a goldfish. I asked for help and they sent Alex. I asked her for her help choosing a fish. That's not exactly what I got. Petco if you want to sell fish, don't send her. Everything had a negative vibe from her. She talked me clean out of the sale because of her negative input. She's very knowledgeable, but in a negative way. She was like you can't get this, you can't get that. She said I could get these fish, but then immediately turned the light off on me and said they were sick. I asked her to please show me how she saw that quickly that they were sick. She then said no she can't. Once she turned off the light she can't turn it back on for 10 days until they are treated. I said it wasn't even 10 seconds and I'm asking to be educated on how you saw that they were sick. She said no.I left your store immediately.I'm going to PetSmart or Rose Garden where it's not an ordeal to buy a goldfish.This was an extremely frustrating visit. Sheesh!UPDATE: Not even 10 mins later, I made my purchase from PetSmart. No complications at all! Sales person was also knowledgeable but positive. Spent my 35 bucks and omw home.

I didn't end up buying anything but Nick at the fish section was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They hired the perfect person for the job. Nick left an impression on my little family. I had to give him a proper shout out. This petco was stocked and clean. Definitely will be back.

Ace had a wonderful and caring experience during his grooming appointment May 28, 2022. They listen regarding his physical health issue and make sure he was well taking care. Ace my 13yrs old Yorkie been going to Petco for a year since we left former grooming establishment.

Came in tonight to purchase fish. Didn't really know which ones we wanted. However, the worst salesperson I've ever came across was sent to help. Not only was he rude in his tone, but he said, "I can't selle this to you because xyz" understandable in my eyes however, the way he spoke was very rude, rushed AND he walked off immediately pulling out his cell phone, and I was going to purchase another type of fish. I decided I didn't want anything from that store due to his rudeness and unwillingness to even listen to stick around to see what else we wanted. We headed for the door, walking behind him, he went to the right to the second register as we were going out but it was the wrong door since we were heading out without purchasing and not paying attention. I said what I needed to say to him as far as his attitude and how he brushed us off and he aggressively comes from behind the counter like he was He-Man and mumbles something I didn't catch. But he was talking all kinds of stuff back saying "let me escort yall out" sticking his tongue out, making childish faces then proceeds to make a hand motion with his hands as if he was masterbating (run your cameras back) I am a woman and that was very disrespectful as we were already leaving the moment he walked off. Why run from behind the counter and continue a confrontation? Also, he stuck his head in between the doors still talking sh1t as we were leaving. I will be reaching out to corporate for this. His genitals and any references to it to a customer was OUT OF LINE, especially a woman! He was the one working tonight 9/16/23 with shaggy looking hair and a terrible attitude.

Didn’t shop there, but the groomers are some of the sweetest ladies around. Great job grooming both my sizable pooches and great communication. A bit on the pricey side when you layer in the ad-ons, but I usually only get mine groomed once or twice a year.

I have been using Petco's grooming services several times already. I like their customer service and friendliness! Everyone is so helpful and happy! I especially love my dog's groomer/stylist, Crystal! She is the best groomer that I have used! She does a great job and is very nice! Will definitely request for her again! :-)
