Went into party city, Harvey location February 3, 2024 and had a few questions about some balloons I purchased regarding helium tank so I can blow them up myself. Employees not that helpful, was now more frustrated and confused before I got there, but this amazing employee whose name is Ken was so helpful and knowledgeable about products to help us. We walked out feeling so much better. Thank you Ken.

There was only one person running the register...the other girls were just walking around oblivious to the long line. One of the girls Laconda I believe her name was had a terrible attitude, poor customer service and really looked like she needed to take a bath and wash her clothes. It was despicable. It almost ruined my experience here...Sheesh! The elderly lady running the register really put in the effort to really help and was full of moxie...we need more people like that! 👍

Online inventory is incorrect on the two visits I've been to within a month. The staff seemed uninterested in helping looking for a particular item stating if the item wasn't on the floor than it was unavailable, when online it states it's in stock. I was directed to look at the veterans store online.

Just went out way more selection than any of the other ones I've been to and it was the day before the St Patty's Day parade and there was still plenty of St Patty's Day stuff to choose from and I did an online order and it was ready and correct and the girl was friendly and everything was expedited went quickly and I mean I got there 10 minutes before they close no problem didn't catch any attitude from employee and I even stopped to buy more items so I was able to even look around the store and add things to my purchase I mean just wonderful party City Great experience

I am ONLY giving this a 4 star review because of Ashley. She is so professional and helpful. She made our experience so much better with her attitude and willingness to help. Her team was not being helpful to her or the costumers but she always kept a positive and polite attitude. Will only shop when she is here.

The store didn't have the balloons she wanted so we ordered them online and had the store blow them up for us. They did an excellent job and the balloons were a big hit at our party!

There is nobody in line why is there a 2hr wait to get balloons blown up. You're not doing nothing. These workers be ridiculous. Last time I came here I waited about a hour because nobody wanted to blow up balloons. Something that only take a couple of minutes or so to do. I won't be back and I do not recommend this store for balloons

Ordered for curbside pickup and just sat there for 15 minutes. People going in coming out. I had to go in and get it because no one ever came. Wasn’t even packed. Unprofessional.

I love party city so much I do not care that the air condition was broken or that they were low on stock or that the lines take for ever. Has got to be one of my favorite stores it's so funny here. I bought a jesus and priest costume here one time for a school event so definitely recommend. Love you party cityI saw party city responded but this is literally my most favorite store. So I love you

We got alot of balloons and the young men hooked us up! Had one doing them then the other came to help him make them look perfect and had another man offering help close by. Awesome teamwork! This was Friday on 4/22/22 around 1:30pm. There were 3 young black men that helped us. Hope they get recognized at work for there great work and customer service. Really appreciated them. ❤️🖤 💜 5 stars party city ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ they made the experience a pleasure!

I came to get some balloons at the store in Harvey. 3 people working and 1 person blowing up balloons. She said it's 30 mins to a gour wait. Spoke to the store Manager who's attitude wasn't any better. He decide to help after he knows I'm going to leave this review. Horrible service

0 stars would be better! The service is horrible this location is very poorly ran. The absolute worst attitudes from management. Retail can get very busy during the holiday season please train staff to handle and treat customers with respect. It is not the customers fault that the store is busy and understaffed so we shouldn't be treated as if we're an inconvenience.

I ordered from this store for my grandson's birthday party! I called twice to confirm the delivery of my items and was told they were there and they confirmed the delivery. It was getting close to the end of delivery window I called again and was told my items were coming. getting close to delivered. The driver calls to tell me one of my items was not there and was out of stock! The manager was a horrible excuse for a manager and he hung up on me. I WILL NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE AGAIN ! No customer service whatsoever

I made several trips to this store everytime I am decorating for an event. Each time there was nothing on their shelves. The Shelves are always empty. I simply believe that their focus is only balloons. They should be renamed "Balloon City" instead of Party City. It's definitely not a party supply store. Customers want more than just balloons.

3 stars for selection of items. I knocked 2 stars off for 1) the dirty attitude of one of the workers. I wish I caught her name. A man in line before us wanted 2 balloons and he asked for them to be gold 5 & 5. She wasn't hearing him no matter how many times and no matter how loud he said it so we let her know what he was trying to say. Apparently she didn't like that and when it came time to check us out she had a real bad attitude. She threw our change like we agreed to play catch. 2) There was so much confusion on where the line started and where it ended, it seems like you could just walk up and stand wherever and take your shot to get checked out.

i remember when the shelves overflowed with items to be purchased, now it's a hunting expedition and hopefully you can find what you will need or something that will fit the bill, lines at the checkout annoying as usual though, still have a few friendly and helpful people there though

I wish I would have gotten the girls names who helped us today, but they were very nice. She overcharged me, but I didn't even notice. She caught it, and refunded me the money. Definitely someone I would want working for my business. Our balloons were filled before we finished shopping, and we were out the door in less than 20 minutes.

Unorganized ,dysfunctional, over crowded and the prices are outrageous . I wish I could say my experience was more pleasant but I can not . I walked in with my three children excited and in the Halloween spirit only to walk out feeling very overwhelmed and unsatisfied because one of my children was unable to get a costume after being told three times they did not have any of the costumes he picked . He would pick one and wait in a large group of people just to be told they don't have anymore three separate times after waiting for about 10 minutes at a time we had to say enough is enough and take our business else where . If ever we do go back we will have a pin and paper to list all of the items we want and then wait to be served . I wish we would have thought of that before because it would have saved us so much time . I'm not sure why they don't just have the costumes available on the walls so we can pick them , pay and leave but I'm assuming it has to do with theft prevention which is very sad because the good have to suffer for the bad . Last but not least I think the location ( space of the store ) was too small . I could feel the body heat of others and we were all bumping into each other and could hardly fit in the store . Maybe next year things will be better . Oh sorry one more thing as far as prices go , I only needed to get my daughter wings to go with her costume but I'm not about to pay $21 or more for something she will only wear once. I really wanted to get these really pretty purple wings but rent is due on the 1st and I had to say no . I already have wings at home so we went to Wall- Mart for arts and crafts to make our own purple wings ! I spent $7 in total there and we are now all set for trick or treating!!!!

What's not to love? The associate even informed me that I could bring all the balloons back on the day of the party (with the receipt) and they fill them for free. Which I've NEVER known. I will be buying party favors for kids from dollar tree because it's cheaper. But I love party city and the staff st this store is AMAZING.

How with 4 people behind the counter, 3 are blowing ballons and talking crazy load and about what food they just ate, while 1 person is ringing people up with a line that's grown to about 10 people since this 1 lady in the front the line is buying about 50 balloons that they seem to be going through. Then the manager finally comes up with her Bubble tea or whatever is was just drinking and smacking her gum. Party city has went completely downhill! It also looks Horrible at this location.

Store needs a lot of love. Shelves were bare, stuff thrown everywhere. Cant buy stuff if i cant find it. Left buying only 1 thing for my daughters birthday cause they didnt have any of the other stuff on the shelf.

The customers service is suck.... I try to purchase the costume for my kids and nobody helps. I run to the cashier and ask for help. The lady playing her phone and telling me go back by the door and someone will come to help me. Why she don’t call them come out help me instead use her time play her phone? I stay by the door 10 minuets but no ones coming. And nobody care to sale the products. I wish the owner read this so they can figure out why they’re so slow....

I went to party city in Harvey 3 times to buy some Halloween stuff but it was disgusting, disorganized and very unfriendly! You can tell that they don’t clean the store or sanitize it. The people that work there clearly don’t care cause they don’t acknowledge you they stand towards the back by the balloons talking or they’re on their phones!

Went to have three balloons blown up, they wanted me to make an appointment for four hours later. What? Nope.Went to Dollar Tree and bought five blown up balloons.Party City is over-rated.

Had an order of over $100. They said they closed at 6pm. I got there at 530pm and the place was completely empty. Couldn't get any of my decorations. If you're going to close early common curiosity is to at least warn the customers who have a standing order that your closing early for the day!
