I went to Tiffany to make my cake for my baby shower and I am so glad that I did !Tiffany has a wonderful personality and explained everything very well.As an artist myself I appreciated the effort she put in to help this cake visually come alive.Everything was edible and it tasted great!We are already planning to come back for my moms birthday cake.Thanks Tiffany!

It’s my 1st year anniversary and I was really excited to get a cake for me and my husband before he woke up. I wanted something simple with just Happy Anniversary on it. First problem Anniversary is spelled wrong but I understand mistakes happen. It’s going to get eaten anyway. Second I just felt like I was rushed to decide what I wanted and to hurry and pay. I didn’t want to make a big deal while I was there, but I won’t be back.

I've always ordered my special occasion cakes from Creative Cakes and have been satisfied with every cake. Their cakes are always fresh and decorated nicely. I've been ordering cakes from them since 1986.

Let me start off by saying our family has purchased doberge cakes from Creative Cakes for over 30 years.I received word from my mother that Creative Cakes was unwilling to process her order for a birthday cake my sister and I both wanted (PHOTO ATTACHED) because she could not be there in person, to pay in cash, in advance.My mother lives in Baton Rouge. She is 62 and unable to jump in her car for a quick drive to New Orleans from Baton Rouge.Creative Cakes said they would allow her to pay via credit card for a basic design - one that cost 14 dollars less than the cake my sister and I wanted.Are you kidding me? My family has been buying cakes from you for over 30 years. You should be ashamed of the way you heckled my mother for 14 dollars.My mother obviously went along with the way you treated her and settled for your cheaper credit-card friendly design, but I am not impressed by your lack of customer service, your lack of professionalism, and my family's future generations certainly won't be eating your cakes.

I absolutely LOVE CREATIVE CAKES. IVE BEEN GOING THERE SINCE I WAS A CHILD. I still can't believe I never wrote a review on how good they are. No one COULD EVER MATCH THEIR GREATNESS. they are absolutely the most unique bakery in the world. It saddens me that they're closing down. But atleast they will go down in my heart as the best bakery in the world.

Picked up the cake Thursday for a Saturday celebration. Omg! This cake is so fresh and so tasty. People asked for a ‘go’ piece it was that good. Thank you. And decorated beautifully!

If I could give a negative star, I would. The customer service is awful. I went a year ago with my aunt and felt discrimination. I didn't say anything because I was not spending my money. I went back this year to get cake for mom because cake was delicious, and I believe in 2nd chances. Didn't know exactly what size cake I needed but knew how many I needed to serve. There was a lady in front of me making an order. I heard her say 30 people, which made me focus on the size of cake. She was quoted a price of $53. Now it's my turn to order. I asked for the same size cake. Same flavor, different filling. No extravagant decorations. I was quoted $67. When asked why my price was different, I was told that I the other lady wasn't told $53. The price is $67. The other lady was Caucasian. I would have rather the salesperson tell me that the lady had a coupon or a discount of some sort than to tell me I heard incorrectly. They will never get any of my service, and if I can help i, no one i know will spend money there either.

So bad. I was going to order a cake but thank God I tried out some cupcakes first because a cake would have been the worst decision. Cupcakes were awful. Bad texture and not a rich, smooth buttercream frosting that I was hoping for. Extremely sugary frosting with so much sugar that it isn’t even blended smooth. Never ever again.

Lady had a bad attitude, never asked what I wanted my daughters birthday cake to say took for another associate to ask me, then they put Happy Birthday on the board of the cake.. which was never explained to me. After rudely saying they only take cash. Every ghetto white establishment that act like black people cant afford these high bakery prices.

Where do I start?! Never disappointed with anything my family has ever bought at Creative Cakes. Everyone is always helpful. Prices are affordable. We (and my entire family, cousins included) have gotten everything from baby showers to weddings to birthdays and graduations. We’ve ordered from this bakery for well over 30 years. I now live in Atlanta. But ANY time I’m home. My first stop in a Saturday morning is Creative Cakes

We live in Houston and were celebrating my daughter's birthday in New Orleans. My wife order her cake from Creative Cakes. That had to be one of the most beautiful Birthday cakes I'd ever seen. The price was a steal compared to the quality of cake we've had in Houston. I was so impressed with this bakery, Im going to drive back there in November and buy my birthday cake from them.

Creative Cakes are the best in the city but their employees are so rude. Creative Cakes staff have terrible customer service. They don’t know how to talk to people. It appears to be a whole bunch of old women that seems miserable.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER WITH A CAKE! , SUPER DRY AND OLD CAKE (It was literally like magnetic sand). I bought a cake right before they closed, A lady offered me a cake that someone “just canceled “, She got it “fresh” from the back.It was embarrassing bringing a bad and old cake to my Family.I brought the cake back and told the lady to try it in front of me, and she just asked if I wanted my money back .

Great Bakery and excellent customer service. The staff seems to really care about customer satisfaction. Creative cakes has made my daughter's birthdays even more special for years. Best cakes ever. I think I found out about them when my daughter was 3 and that’s when I purchased my first cake she is now 8 and this is the only place I will get a cake from. My son will be three and I will be getting his 3rd birthday cake from here. Very reasonable prices and y’all about delicious melt in your mouth cake. The staff is always nice and professional. I will not go no where else.

Best cakes on the Westbank! Love that "wedding cake" flavor they all seem to have, so good! Every time we come in town we make a point to stop and get some petit fours & mini cakes for the visit. Staff is always sweet & pleasant, even with how busy they always are.

Guys this family has been the glue to every birthday song for the last 10 years and everytime my guest always rave about the delicious taste 😋 Creative Cake is my # 1 option and at one point Haydel's was my # 2 but they've fell off and even after giving Haydel's feedback they didn't care. Bye-bye Haydel's Creative Cakes will forever be my go too. Keep up the great work

Great tasting cakes and cookies. My family has been going here for over 30 years. Our wedding cake came from here and everyone in our 3 daughters Birthday Cakes have come from here every year. They are always friendly and helpful and will try to accommodate your cake design need.Only reason I won't give a 5 star is they won't do drawings or fondant designs

I have bought from here several times in the past and their cakes are good, however, they have very few available options. I don't frequent this place too often for a couple reasons: 1) they don't accept credit cards; and 2) for some of them, it's like they can't stand to look at you walking in the door if you're not their complexion but they tolerate you because you're giving them your money. I will never come to this place again and neither will my family. Asked this woman at the counter about color options, size, filling, etc and she acted as it I flat out disgusted her. She was abrupt, rude and very unprofessional. Then they have the nerve to have huge "masks required" signs with instructions to "sanitize your hands" on the doors yet you walk in, and none of them are wearing masks. This place is a disgrace and I will not be recommending another person to come here.

I needed a cake last minute on CINCO de Mayo, thank goodness for this place. It was my first time trying them, the lady was very helpful and friendly. The cake was delicious and everyone raved about it. Definitely has won my business.

This bakery, while small and quirky, makes top notch cakes and cookies. Their white/almond cake with white icing is a perennial favorite in my family for birthdays. Took away one star for being cash/check only...in this day and age, that's ridiculous. Took another star for their inflexibility with decorating cakes: if it isn't roses or piping, they likely won't do it.Bottom line: Solid product, fair pricing, but they need to update themselves to stay competitive. A more modern bakery with their recipes would put them out of business quickly, which would be a shame.

I stopped in to purchase a cake for my wife's birthday, I wanted pineapple filling and was told the buttercream filling was requested most. I went along with the buttercream filling and mercy, it was out of this world! Everyone raved over the cake wanting to know where I purchased it from. More business is headed your way.
