Homeless man laying around the other side of the stripmall looked like he was dying in the heat. The butcher gave us some ice and we bought water for him. The homeless man ended up being pretty rude. Everyone was nice and caring wanting to help. Great staff! Glad to see people care. Thank you for being good people.

I ordered a total of 4 platters for catering my graduation party. 3 in the deli, and 1 in produce. The fruit tray I ordered was filled with perfectly ripe and well-cut fresh fruit, and was wonderful! I also ordered a Cheese Sampler and Mediterranean Delight platter which were prepared super precisely and diligently.The chicken tender platter was finished right as I went to pick up the order for optimal freshness, and I really appreciate being able to bring fresh tenders to my party, rather than stale ones. The portions were plenty and the quality of everything was superb.Everything was a hit with my guests and I will be sure to come back to this store for my catering needs. The price was very affordable (4 large trays cost right at $130), and it certainly beat trying to maintain restaurant reservations. The staff I interacted with in placing my order and picking up were nothing but kind, courteous, and very proficient. Kudos to them, and thanks for the great service! I wish I took photos of my order, but everything was gone so fast! 😃

I love this store! This was my first time here in a very long time. This is a very clean and very well stocked store. It has wide aisles and Is a pleasant experience to shop at. The produce is fresh and the deli stocks my favorite brand of cold cuts and cheeses. The Italian food aisle selection is very good with even specialty brands. The meat section is clean without any odors. The chicken meats are packaged properly without juice or wetness all over. I really appreciate this cleanliness.A great place to shop for your family's meals and other daily needs.

You cannot beat chek cold drinks. The caffeine free diet is delicious and so is the freshly diet citrus one. I don't shop here very often, but I should.

One of my favorite grocery stores. This one took me back to the old days and the money I've saved shopping here. I was looking for a Baskin-Robbins and found this gem instead. We do not have these anymore in Lafayette but I wish they would bring them back.

The best place for meats. If you keep an eye open they throw good sales. Also you can usually get a 12 pack of monster for 20 bucks making them less than 2 bucks a piece. The deli has sales on sandwich meat from time to time and the lines at the store are usually small.

I ordered a fruit tray and picked it up today. I want to say thank you to the person who made it. It was done with excellence. It was pretty to look at and the fruit was plentiful, fresh and absolutely delicious. It was a treat for my grandchildren and they loved it.

Better than typical Winn Dixie I grew up on. Clean, organized, well stocked... but pricey. I really only come for check drinks and other little items I can't find at other stores but the trade off is there's never a line and rarely is the stock in short supply

I went to see about getting a fruit platter and a veggie platter. They were sold out I explained to the gentleman in produce I was a little disappointed he told me if I had some time he would make me one. I didn't have the time to wait the party started in 2 hours but I greatly appreciate him offering to do that for me. Most people would have just said we don't have any and been done with the conversation.

Always have a pleasant visit at Winn-Dixie. Shelves stay stocked. Staff always nice and friendly with the small town vibe. The deals are great. I love when they do the buy one get one free deals. Store is always clean. Bring a jacket though. It's always cold in there.

This is another one of my favorite stores. Always has great deals. It's so much better going to make groceries here than at one of those big over sized boxed stores. I hardly ever have to wait in a line.

I dont know what it is about the employees at this Winn Dixie. My sister and I have been here twice and both times the cashiers had an attitude for no apparent reason with us. The first time we went, the cashier was talking, smiling and laughing with the customers in front of us and as soon as we got to her her whole mood changed. She didn’t even speak and when we spoke to her she mumbled and acted like we were bothering her when we were just trying to check our things out and go. The second time we went, a different cashier had an attitude with us again for no apparent reason. I dont want to think this place is just racist but its getting there.

I love shopping all of their buy one get one free sales they always have. Fresh fruits and veggies. Always some sort of sale on their meats. Even if you just shop their sale items, it's worth it.

Normally this is a wonderful store, but today's experience has stained it's otherwise good reputation. It is a busy Friday night. I write this in line. There are eight people in line, and only one register open. Employees who are here are more concerned that the items are fronted and the floors are waxed rather than assisting customers with their purchase. With a multitude of other stores nearby, this is not acceptable. Will definitely reconsider before coming back in the evening.

Well stocked with plenty enough employees. Check out lines are minimal because of more than 1 register being open. Also have self checkout. I think they also do Western Union St the customer service Desk. They have a Coinstar change redemption center and they rent Rug Doctor carpet cleaners and chemicals

Love the Winn Dixie in Hammond, Louisiana. They have the best Birthday cakes, best decorated, best tasting, & best deli workers ever. All the staff are great, could not ask for better people or service. Prices are a great value for someone on a budget too.
