Update: Walmart corrected the issue and thankfully had ONE copy left with the game actually in the case.It was only $20 but that's not the point it's the principal. A few months ago this Walmart or another Walmart somewhere between Hammond and Plaquemine. I went to purchase a Nintendo switch game when I noticed that where you open the game up someone had cut it open right there Just right there. So it was still mostly sealed but open enough to where they can get the game out. These are games that are in the locked case. So if you're going to purchase a game from Walmart be sure and try to remember and hopefully you do see this that you check the game plastic and make sure that it's fully wrapped around and sealed. If not there's a probable chance that like this morning when I went to open my game there's no game in the case. Like I said this happened a few months ago as well. Today I did call the manager at the Hammond Walmart to make sure that they are aware. So I hope that if you're an employee doing this that you also see this. You suck whoever you are. Now I have to feel like I'm the thief when I go back to Walmart to return the game. Which is $20 Don't get me wrong it's not terrible but I'm going to fight for my money because this isn't right.

Management, and all other employees:Tourette’s syndrome is an illness and often heightens in public places due to anxiety. Calling the police on someone who is having a tic fit while ALSO LAUGHING AT HIS TICS is uncalled for. I hope this is a lesson for you all. I will never go back. SHAME ON YOU.

No one answers the phone, not even a manager. I'm disabled, ordered delivery and was missing important items. I had to call three different departments to find a competent soul. If not for paper products, personal items and pet supplies, this place would never see my money again.It's sad that employers hire careless, pathetic people who challenge amoebas on the food chain for supremacy. No one tries to help, they run the othercway and to repeat a call to a fat, half-capable operator to have her hang up each time I call back dictates the ignorance the store supports.

Unstocked shelves, unhelpful employees. Dangerous parking lot resplendent with hit-and-run drivers caught on camera, but unshared by the community blight dba Walmart. Also the pharmacy is incompetent and rude. Legitimately they are a shame.

Don't like the Hammond location, Walmart in Ponchatoula is far better and safer to shop at and the people that work there are more helpful than those at Hammond. When you ask an associate where something is she says over there and points. Good grief how many mins does it take to help a customer that pays your wages...

Every WalMart store is overwhelming to me but this one was on a whole other level! Between the employees & other customers getting in my way, the shelves weren't fully stocked & a few of my items were damaged but I didnt know until after I got home with my groceries. This was SUCH a stressful trip that I now refuse to EVER return to this particular WalMart store again!

It’s always pretty much organized in the store but it’s just the self check out . I mean there’s someone that works standing there watching & waiting all the time , so why can’t they just be checking people out . It’s ridiculous when you purchased 75 back packs and have to scan each one b/c no option to add Qty is very frustrating .

This is the worst Walmart Supercenter I've ever been in. Just today, I was nearly run over by an order picker texting on her personal phone (the store one was on her cart). The employees are always on their phones. Then, I went to check out and the only lanes open were the two "scan and go" ones. The one on the grocery side was backed up to the bakery. The one on the home/pharmacy end was backed up to lawn and garden. They are always low or out of stock for many normal, everyday items. Last week I needed someone to check my ID at self-checkout (again, the only line available). An employee looked straight at me, saw the assistance light on, and pretended to be sweeping two spots down. If Mr. Sam was still alive and came into this store, he would shut it down.

Waited well over 2 hours, probably 3 or more by the time we got done for them to put one tire on. The reason was I watched the two automotive techs arguing over a lost lug nut for the car in front of me. Supper annoying and unprofessional. They looked for the lug nut for at least 45 minutes holding up a bay! Go somewhere else for tire work!

Travelling through the great state of Louisiana, I needed a WM stop. This might be my worst WM experience ever. First, I felt like we had just entered after a smash & grab incident... EVERYTHING in this WM is behind plexiglass, lock & key, requiring you to ask an associate to allow you to purchase toothpaste (or whatever). Upon our arrival, all the plexiglass appeared to be open, ransacked & mostly empty. Upon our arrival, there were 3 checkouts dedicated to EBT customers only.... I have never seen this in a WM ever. Luckily, I found the few items I needed & made an easy exit at a self checkout, without incident. I will avoid this WM in the future.

Walmart is raising its store brand prices... How very disappointing. The reason we go to the store brand is to SAVE money! Now, might as well go to the corner store, not much difference! I placed an order through the app for pick up for a TV and some groceries. The TV showed it to be in stock. When I picked up the order, the TV was not available. Walmart has failed to refund the difference of approximately $300. It has been 6 business days. This is detrimental to a person who only gets a monthly social security check. Be aware and very careful!!

I had left a very negative review for this store previously, but staff has improved over the last year. There are usually cash register lanes, and employees have generally been more helpful. I haven't had negative experiences here and I appreciate the staff's efforts and management's willingness to listen to reviews.

I was sold damaged product from a store 9 hours away while on vacation and when I went to return it at my home location when I realized, I was denied. I was then lied to about who was manager twice until finally told it was Ray Smith and immediately hung up on with no resolution. Not only was the original product sold faulty, but the stores ownership and custermee service leaves much to be desired. NEVER SHOP HERE! take million excuses not to help when there is a problem.

They had dog beds on sale. In the boxes clearly marked. When I got to the register it didn't ring up the price marked. A customer service girl said she couldn't do anything. I asked for a manager but got a Coach instead. She would only ring my bed up for the sale price not my daughter too. Seperate purchases. The Lead/Head manager Jennifer would not come out to assist. False advertisement. Wouldn't honor the price clearly marked.
