We called to place a refill order and spoke to the pharmacist who answered and verified my info.. she said it will be ready in a hour and half we then arrive and the pharmacist at the window verifies our info and said there is no prescription for refill. Exactly why I would not use Walgreens or even this location for prescriptions

If you like waiting, then this is the pharmacy for you. Literally have never NOT waited at a Walgreens. Sat on hold for 10 mins just now. Got frustrated and hung up only to drive to the pharmacy and wait in another line.

Not very friendly pharmacy staff. Excruciating long wait times at drive thru. It can take 30+ minutes to get through drive thru. And unfortunately, they only have one of their two drive thru lanes open.

Awful customer service. Purchased my items. Seemed like none of the cashiers wanted to be there. The one who helped me had a long line. I asked for the bathroom to be opened and the second cashier who was taking a few people said she would meet me back there. She never showed and when I walked past to leave she was texting on her phone with zero customers. Never coming back.

I work near by and I get off later in the day, so I normally see the same staff. Although the entire staff group is great and helpful overall, my favorite person hands down is Stacy. I look forward to seeing her everytime I visit! She is so uplifting toward everyone in line and you just can't help but be in a better mood after you leave! Also this Walgreens is pretty great in general.

I find the service to be just as efficient as any other Walgreens if not better. They are probably the busiest in the area, and I wouldn't even try to speak to a pharmacist at any location over the phone. These people deal with rude idiots for over 12 hours a day. Regarding staff, I find them to be incredibly friendly, helpful, professional, and as efficient as is humanly possible (especially when considering their ridiculous workload).

The pharmacy staff is extremely rude and unfriendly every time I stop here and they take FOREVER to get your prescription out to you. I’ve been using Walgreens for about 10 years and haven’t had any problems until moving to Hammond and dealing with the unprofessional staff at the Railroad Avenue Walgreens. I will be transferring my medications to Scott’s Pharmacy down the street, more convenient with more pleasant staff.

Really really poor customer service. I understand that most pharmacies are incredibly busy but the pharmacists there were displaying impatient and indifferent behavior both in person and over the phone. There is no way to contact them over the phone, they won't pick up. And when they finally did they hung up on me. Stinks that these ladies are representing Walgreens. They are such a good company.

Absolutely horrible service here. My 36 week pregnant wife showed up for a scheduled drive through test, pulled into the line at her scheduled time, and was told she was late and they could not test here due to the wait line they had. We'll never be using them again if this is how they operate.

Slow service The older lady that worked 1/7/19 morning was incredibly rude and and snappy. I wish I would've gotten her name. I left that Walgreens and went to the one across town and the customer service was so much better. Maybe this location should take notes from them!!

DO NOT USE THIS WALGREENS PHARMACY. The pharmacy techs are extremely rude and wait times are horrendous. I also have to mention they have a problem filling prescriptions correctly. I writing this so you don't have to spend hours every week trying to get prescriptions like me. Management needs a overhaul.

I am having prescriptions transferred from 2 different local pharmacies my orginal phone call to Walgreens was at 10am I called them back at 3pm and the pharmacist stated to me they were working on it. But she has 90 something other prescriptions to work on and she would get to mine as she can. I'm very disappointed to the fact that it has been 5 hrs and my scripts are not only not ready but that I am only not a priority since I explained to the person that answered to phone at 10am I was out of some of my meds also that I'm just a number like the 90 something others not getting their prescriptions as well. The pharmacist had a very poor disposition on the phone.UPDATE: I called the store manager and after explaining my experience with the pharmacy dept in his store he did talk to the pharmacy dept and straightened out the issue. They called me 8 times throughout the rest of the evening. And did not charge me for my prescriptions when they were picked up. I believe the store manager took my grievances seriously and then I got the best service possible. I understand they are busy but as it was said to me on one of the phone calls ( simply) no one should be treated that way.

I recently visited this Walgreens to help a friend get some medication. Initially we went through the drive thru to get service. She didn't know whether her insurance would be accepted and when asked if she had insurance we said no. We proceeded to ask the pharmacist how much it would be witout insurance, her response was "The first one will be around 41$ and I don't know about the second one, there's a car behind you I need you to pull around the building it'll be around 20 mins." She was so very rude, ill be changing my go to pharmacy and I don't think I'll recommended Walgreens anymore whwn asked about pharmacies in the area.

I use the drive thru so I don’t have to bring my toddler inside to get a prescription but every time I come I’m stuck in the line for hours. Literally. I hate coming here and dread it every month.

This Walgreens don’t care about your health. I just spent three days going back and forth eating the run around about my medicine. That I am required to take everyday. I now hate this walgreeens and have to go two days without my medicine because they stupid. Train harder and learn more. Cause y’all slow asf and take all days to throw some pills in a bottle.

I was there Friday and there was a black guy outside, by the front door. He was grungy but what really got me was he turned and walked inside the store with his backend showing--no shorts. This is going to ruin their business letting people like that hang around.

Today I came to buy a medication for my wife, a cough, and a sore throat. She is 8 months pregnant and it is a bit difficult to take any medicine because of her pregnancy. the problem that did not want to accept the id because it is defeated and the id of Mexico did not accept it either. well you can see dying they do not sell anything

Probably the slowest pharmacy I have ever used. Only reason I use them is because their location is convenient to where I live. If you want your prescription filled and ready on time, use another pharmacy.

Fastest refill service I've ever had. I'm a long haul truck driver so I end up getting my refills wherever and whenever I can find the time and the two girls working today just blew me away with how fast I was in and out again.

Terrible service with the drive thru! Every time I go through the drive thru I wait for 7 minutes for someone to help me. i am currently sitting in the drive thru timing it. While the staff is friendly, I loath the drive thru. 9 minutes and I am over it.
