I loveeee the bakery department! They always nail it on the head!! I usually order 2 days in advanced and it’s always ready by the time and date I request. Moist as well as delicious every single time.

The grocery store aspect of the store is great. If getting a custom cake I would think twice. They didn't even fit happy birthday properly on a sheet cake and I paid 21 dollars for it.

I’ve ordered seafood at the counter for many years without having to place an order but today when I go I’m told that I’m supposed to order 5lbs of shrimp 24hrs. in an advance which makes zero sense as I’ve never had to before. The gentleman is friendly nor was he rude no complaints about him just having to wait 24hrs when that’s advertised nowhere.

I've been out this way a few times and stopped in this location, and it's clean and well stocked, with a great selection. Right off the interstate, so easy to get in and out. Really good seafood selection, meals to go, and excellent sales (all Rouses). I haven't checked out the bakery at this location, but Rouses is known to make delicious cakes and patisserie.

Unfriendly staff and they do not honor their sale prices. The manager is also very rude when you try to get the prices that the items are listed as on the tag. Do not recommend.

BEWARE of the meats that you buy ...I had found a few packages that was out of date 12/27 ..today is 12/28 ...asked butcher if they were going to reduced it he said no they will repackage n reprice n put back out for sale ..or they would send it to deli for them to use after he had snatched out of my hands. They are going to make somebody sick...so sad that a louisiana proud company is going down like that.

Son likes shopping here. This one is no good. I've shopped in other cities and food much fresher. Late Saturday bought ground sirloin and it was brown this morning. Definitely was not fresh b/c less than 48 hours meat should not go bad. I will convince him to to shop Winn Dixie with better prices and much fresher fruits, meats and vegetables.

My favorite place to shop when I’m home in Louisiana. Local grocery stores are perfect for a sample of the local cuisine. No matter where you shop, Rouse’s has very friendly staff.

Strange place to try and shop in my experience. Fine if you are looking for something specific or regional that the small grocery stores may not have but I don't care to stop otherwise. During my last visit missing or incorrect price tags seemed to be the norm in many areas. 'Normal' chicken breast wasn't a thing - you could have extremely expensive organic, thin sliced, or tenders. I didn't even see a spot for regular breasts. Prices seem to be higher than most other stores for no particularly good reason. I'll be sticking to Carters or WalMart (or Winn Dixie for that matter) and saving this for when all options fail.

I will never get a money from here anymore. They do not give you any information regarding their terms for money order purchases. That's horrible with the economy we are living in!!

Today was the worst grocery store experience I can recall in recent memory. Was going to purchase some lemon turnovers, but they were moldy! 🤢Attempted to find donuts but there were none.So I finally gathered the rest of my items and go to check out, but there's only one cashier. And she gets tied up with some EBT or similar payment processing problem and everything comes to a standstill. I do not recall how long it was that we were delayed but it was long enough for my ice cream to melt. Definitely not coming back here again unless it's absolutely necessary.

Just left the store.. sad to say 1st visit & not to happy. Bought steaks, the 2 women who were working.. were talking personal, look at us & still continued to carry.. really? Guess they finish because we were helped!! Well went to checkers & the same thing talking.. must pay employees to talk. Total spent for 3 items was $61.12. Need to teach custom service is always #1. Cashier: Leshawna was there at 3:37 on12-02-21.

Stopped in to pickup food sense u was in Hammond. Store was nice and a gentleman told me about ice and was ok with that. However. No coke zero and when I checked out the cashier left my grocery there and walked out to smoke. Didn't put my groceries in my cart.

Was at the deli yesterday 3/23 with 2 other people in front of me. 1st customer was served then that employee left. The other employee was running around until an employee that was doing personal shopping showed up. The employee running around dropped everything to help the shopping employee. How freaking rude to the paying customers already in line and waiting for services. The deli needs to get on the ball, it doesn't matter how many people are waiting 1 or 5 it is a lways a ridiculous wait.

I had the most wonderful bakery experience! The woman behind the counter, who is also the woman who decorated my cake, Hayley, was phenomenal. Her attitude and her customer service is irreplaceable! And my daughters cake was absolutely stunning. I couldn’t wait to show it off! I will most definitely be back. Thank you for a great experience in a stressful time!

I hate that I'm having to change my review from a 5 to a 2 due to the lack of any kind of order with this locations order pickup. The spots designated have faded to no yellow markings and then the people who answer are less than helpful. This is literally the only rouses that ever has a problem and now are 4/4 on issues. All other locations are dead on. This one, it's a hard NO on togetherness.

Nicely stocked store. Bakery could be bigger but still nice. Only reason it is not a 5 is the location. There are some homeless looking individuals that hang out around that shopping center. Specifically the dollar tree has strange characters that stand and sit right outside their door. Be watchful.

Staff was super friendly!!! Love the sushi bar. My favorite thing about this store is the little kid shopping carts!!! My 2 little girls (6 & 4yrs) really think they are helping me with groceries. And they are- by focusing on who gets what item in their cart and not fussing about me not buying EVERY cupcake, a bouncy ball, the summer beach toys, or candy at the register because by then, they are so busy handing “their” groceries to the cashier!! As insignificant as it seems, thanks for giving me peace (and laughter) during my grocery shopping adventure.

Very helpful staff. Rouses has great weekly deals and overlapping sale days Wednesday.Great place to buy meat, their fish counter has a decent selection, and have been very good. They do a great job at rotating and cleaning these items.I'm not thrilled with the produce section. I routinely find rotten fruit or have had issues with mold inside peppers.Overall it's a clean well sticker grocery store with competitive pricing and local products.
