A truly impressive Vet! We were only in the area for a short while, and they got us right in. Dr. Reagan Peters went so far above and beyond in helping us with our dog and in trying to figure out what the underlying cause was to his issues. She spent hours calling, analyzing, examining, testing, and prescribing to help us decide what to do next. The price that we were charged for all of this amazing help was so small, that I thought they made a mistake on the billing. Truly a great place to take your pets. Competent, compassionate, friendly, and affordable. We only wish that we lived here full time to come see them again.

Can’t say enough good things about this vet. They are not my normal vet as mine was closed today (Saturday). But my dog hurt his leg so I called them and they took him in right away. The receptionist was very nice and helpful over the phone.The veterinarian and vet techs were very knowledgeable and super sweet.They also have fair pricing. As an emergency last minute visit, full head to toe evaluation and evaluation of his hurt leg and 3 prescriptions I was very happy that it did not break the bank.So glad I found them as a back up vet!Thank you all for taking my baby in at such late notice.

Animal Care Center was wonderful! We recently got an English Bulldog puppy and received excellent care at our first visit! Candice Piediscalzo referred us and made us feel right at home! We received lots of helpful information and tips!!

My sweet girl has had all kinds of issues with GI disease and an auto immune disease. Dr. Tamor has been there for her every step of the way. She always comes in with a smile on her face and explains everything to me. She has great bedside manner. I love that she’s the one who calls me instead of having anyone just call to give me results or to talk to me about my girl. Can’t forget our other favorite, Kayla! She goes above and beyond for my baby when she has to go for a visit. Whether she’s talking me off the ledge from thinking somethings wrong, to sending pics of my girl, she’s truly the best! It makes it so much easier to drop her off or bring her in knowing she has wonderful people taking care of her and spoiling her with lovins! It’s nice knowing that they really love my baby and aren’t just trying to see how much money they can get out of me.See photo of Audrey leaving the vet the other day. I recently just moved back to Hammond with a pair of Great Danes and our female was pregnant. We were in need of a new vet in the area & heard about Animal Care Center through a friend. Candice was very informative and instrumental in helping us get our appointment set up, online forms filled out & making sure we covered all our bases prior to arrival. Momma & puppies received great treatment from the the staff @ ACC and I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking for a vetinarian in the area. Needless to say, we've found our local go-to for our pets needs! If you call, ask for Candice, you'll be happy that you dd!!!

I have come to the Animal Care Center for years. The staff has always been very informative and supportive. I had to euthanize my sweet little hedgehog because of liver failure. Everyone was so empathetic. Their exotics vet is knowledgable and understanding. The only person my little Stinker would let clip his nails. My two dogs love going to the office and were never fearful.

Great caring staff and Doctors. Very good with our two "kids". We have been going there for a few years and are very pleased with the services they've provided. Only two items that need to possibly be looked at is their prices are high and they don't do any discounts for very, very frequent services and procedures.

Animal Care Center is the BEST! I have three Dachshunds who are NOT dogs but who are part of our family. I am VERY picky where I take them for their medical needs as well as for boarding. EVERY person that works at Animal Care Center in Hammond is SO nice, and my dogs love everyone there. I can't tell you how nice it is to have people that love my dogs taking care of them for their medical needs as well as when I have to go out of town. I don't think anyone is as picky as me when it comes to their pets, so trust me when I say you can trust Animal Care Center with your fur babies.

Friendly staff. Vet is friendly. They accept care credit so makes it more affordable to get your pets treated if they are sick and need an expensive treatment or procedure. Staff had given us water for our thirsty dog. He was sick and not drinking and he was a little thirsty.

I’ve had pets my whole life and moved around a bunch, and ACC is the best vet I’ve ever gone to. My cat can be very difficult at the vet, but everyone there is so patient with her and can handle anything she throws at them. The staff is amazing and the care is even better.

We had to make the difficult decision to put our lovely Stella Grace to sleep. She was very ill and we could not let her suffer. I made the appointment in the morning and took her in that afternoon. When we were taken to the room it was set up with a blanket for her to be placed on, the lights were dimed and soft music was playing. We were offered water and made comfortable. Everyone spoke softly and the paperwork was handled with great care. When the procedure was over and we were comfortable leaving we were able to exit through a side door and did not need to go through the lobby.Stella Grace had the best of care during her life and was gently handled to the very end.
