This may be the prettiest grocery store I've been in. The moment you walk in the colors capture your eyes. The produce section is absolutely beautiful and color coordinated. The seafood section section was beautiful...everything was just pretty 😍. Ordered some food from the hot bar with some help from an associate. I definitely recommend the habenero chicken. Even the liquor section was beautiful. It was so neat and tidy in there! We didn't have a savings card...so the cashier helped us. Will be back next time I'm in town

Today was my first time in Albertsons. They don't have them where I used to live in Virginia. When I came through the door I was drawn to the beautiful flowers on display. Absolutely gorgeous arrangements. I thought was better than the florist. On to the bakery department. Started looking at birthday cakes for my daughter and immediately had help. I went over the cakes and finally was able to pick one. I didn't know but I could have my own colors, filling, and choose between chocolate or white mix. They had a lot to choose from in fillings for inside the cake. The bakery associate went over everything with me. Even the time I wanted to pick up. After I put in the order and it was set to go I wanted to take a look around. Prices were a little bit higher however the selection of things were huge! I really liked that I saw things I never have seen before. Was very happy with my trip to this store. The cake came out beautiful too!

Greats deals and savings through the app. Items are consistently in stock. Wear LSU shirt on Saturday football game days deal is cool too. Pick up service is super convenient!

I injured my calf tonight playing volleyball (to the point where I am now limping) but desperately needed some groceries - some icy hot also wouldn’t be a bad idea.As soon as I grabbed my cart, an employee asked if they could get me one those electrical shopping carts. Totally could have had fun taking that bad boy for a spin but I politely declined. Missed opportunity but, moving on. A little bit later, the store manager stopped to talk to me and ask if I was okay. Upon checking out and ready to leave, the same employee I first encountered (Andrew) very kindly walked me to my car and offered to load my groceries in for me. None of which felt off or uncomfortable.It’s more than just about being a considerate and helpful employee for the company. Moral of the story is that these are just good, decent people. Thank y’all so much for showing me your kindness and being genuine. Y’all are awesome ♥️ Albertsons for life, baby.

I've been a loyal customer, but that's about to end.What I always liked about the store is that they always had at least 4 cashiers anytime I was in the store. The staff was very nice and helpful.I first noticed the self check registers go in about a month ago. I hoped for the best. Today, my hopes went to the wayside as I was trying to checkout there was only one register open with a long line.If I am going to have to use a self checkout, I'll go someplace with known better prices.I'm also tired of a certain cashier who loves to tell people what to do rather than just do her job.

The cashier Mrs. Edith C is incredibly rude & down right mean every single time I have checked out with her. She was so impatient with my mother who is deaf. We are spending over 1000.00 a mth to shop here and should be treated kindly.Edith C should not be allowed to treat any customer that way!

Loved shopping here for a long time, and I especially love the selection of Roman products, Romano cheese, De Cecco pasta variety, Parmigiano Reggiano, Mutti and Pomì. Missing Roman breakfast products like Pan di Stelle or Gocciole but you can't have everything.I shop here not because it's cheap but because it's a premium grocery. Being middle class it's a sacrifice that Iʼm willing to make if it means short lines and old school cash registers which don't waste my time.The self checkouts are a disgrace. When I pay 5 dollars for a basic product I am paying to have a cashier, not to do it myself. If I wanted to bring 300 dollars of groceries to a self-checkout I would have gone to Wal-Mart or Rouses and gotten much better price.The cashiers are friendly, very polite, hard working folks. Same goes for the gentleman handling the buggies, and the friendly and efficient staff in the seafood section.Management on the other hand is often dismissive and rude.Grocery store isn't dirty as some people say. Shelves are always stocked and orderly.

Great place to shop especially when the seal paper comes out I don’t know how they do it but we racked up on a whole basket full of green tea for $.50 a bottle

Absolutely poor management. The manager is terrible with speaking to customers and VERY unprofessional. Very small miscommunication about a sale because the manager and employees were apparently not on the same page. Traveled all the way from St. Tammany Parish, and I’ll stay over here for future. Not even worth the sales. Also, I was disgusted with how dirty the store is, needs lots of cleaning. I’m not one to give reviews at all, but after my first trip here and experience I will NOT be back.

I’ve never not waited in line here. There’s never enough cashiers to customers. Make sure you check every single product for the expiration date (especially the yogurt section) because a lot of them are past expiration. I’m giving three stars for the occasional great deals you can find here. But the amount of expired products on shelves is ridiculous. Also no self checkout.

Always a toss up if it will be a good or bad experience at this Albertson's. I go frequently because it's close to my apartment, but there are often long lines and few registers open. Sale items are often out of stock. Yesterday, I was too uncomfortable to get out of my car and shop there because there were three Hammond police units in front dealing with a situation in the parking lot. Today, after waiting several minutes in a long line, the cashier turned off her light and told me "Sorry, ma'am I'm closed." I found it rude to turn away someone who had joined the line while her light was still on. If you're planning to go on break, plan ahead and watch your line.

Pretty great, glad this one is still open. They are pricey just like Rouses and Walgreens, but they do have a lot of better quality products than Walmart. Always stocked well. Seems to be a reliable place to shop.

I Love shoping fruits and foods here but lately the line is getting worse and worseThey only / always open 2 registers during the day.Some people just have to go back to work can’t wait 40 minutes to pay a bag of grapes.

I love Albertsons for the prices and this store is always pretty well stocked, however I can only give 3 stars because the last 2 times I was in the checkout experience was awful. The last time I was floored; Kelsey, per the receipt , was the most unprofessional, rude ,aloof and ignorant person I've encountered in some time. If you don't enjoy your job....don't take it out on others! Next time I will return the favor.

Thebes grocery store in Hammond. Mrs. Lisa is great at customer service Nora , Ms. Dawn,Mrs. Peggy, and Ms.Brown are great helpful every time I am in the store. They help from the app down to finding and item. They all need raises Mr. Kevin. Ladies keep up great work.

It's an okay place to shop. If you don't like going to Walmart, this would be the place. They have great sales on great quality meats every so often that is well worth it. Other than that it's a little on the pricey side but, not like some of the other grocery stores.

High prices, not very well stocked and the restrooms are gross. Both restrooms were being used by men and the doors weren’t locked. I think it will probably have to be repainted. Trust me you don’t want too see what I saw. Oh and after waiting in line for 20 minutes another cashier opens and everyone rushes over from the back of lines and the customers that have been waiting are still waiting (yes I’m one of them). Albertsons used to be an organized and clean store when I visited Louisiana. Not anymore.

Checking out my floral items scanned for more than was marked on the item itself. Cashier was going to ask a manager but another cashier turned around and said "we don't do price changes here, you pay for what it scans for" which is so wrong! I would say pay attention but if you shop here, it's pointless. True story this past Saturday night

Before and during COVID, I began shopping at Albertsons because it was close to home. I continue to shop for groceries there not only for the location, but because the store is clean, personnel are friendly and the selection is good. The store is smaller but is always well stocked.
