The people at Hackberry Fishing Camp & Marina are some of the nicest people you will find, they keep everything very clean. Kay is the best contact person and will strive to help you in any way. Camp looks great after the remodel from hurricane damage. I plan to continue to stay with them on all my trips.

Excellent place to be. Staff is outstanding. Great location for fishing, visiting casinos and all that SW Louisiana has to offer. We stayed Sunday through Friday and absolutely hated having to leave.

The lodge was extremely clean and well taken care off. The inside was nicer than any other fish lodge or camp I have been in. It was stocked with toiletries and all sorts of other stuff. The view from the balcony is very nice to sit and watch the water. The marina is clean and the bait store people very friendly. If you want live shrimp, you better come the night before as the guides buy all the live shrimp before 5am.

We’ve stayed here four times now, in both Lodge 1 and 2 upstairs, they’re always immaculately cleaned and have all the comforts of home. We love that we can bring our beagle, the pet fee has gone up to $50 but that’s still reasonable considering the cost to board your pet for a weekend. They have live bait, a boat stall is included with your rental and the boat launch is right next to the camp. We heard they’re thinking of getting an ice machine and that would be a great addition! Highly recommend and we will be back.

I took my 16-year-old son here for a father-son fishing trip. HPC took care of everything; they provided a guide with a boat and all the equipment needed. The guide was awesome too. We caught tons of trout, redfish, and flounder. The camp house is super convenient. You literally walk about 10 yards to the dock where the boat picks you up. The house is perfect with comfortable beds, full kitchen, dining table, a full living room with television, pool table, dart board etc. We had a great time!

Very nice and VERY clean lodge fully loaded with just about everything you need minus food. The staff was very helpful and was always around if we needed anything. Would book again for sure.
