Nice service. Usually. Good food most of the time. It's really a hit or a miss. Sometimes people park at the pump and go shopping blocking everyone from pumping their gas. There are only 4 pumps so it's really annoying. Owner and his family are wonderful people. Their meat selection is fresh and good quality.

Great little grocery store that is convenient to access with trailer. Diesel pumps are nice and fast.Their hot food is good and their hours are better than most little grocers.

Truly love this place 5 stars worth, except...Staff is incredible. The preseasoned meat is worth taking the ferry for, and the diesel pump... E - F in 10s. No really. I don't know the speed, but you better hold that nozzle with 2 hands if you ain't all man! And don't get comfortable. You ain't gon be long.But the music. The music in the store. It's like Christmas 365 but way way worse.Now that I've mentioned it, you'll never go back there and not hear it. You're welcome.

Oh my. Im not from the area,, so I've been in and out for quick items in the past, but I needed a different type of item so I had to explore more. This store has so much stock and variety!. I was pleasantly surprised. It's very clean. It seems every grocery item is there. And each time I've entered the clerks have always been very cordial. There's even hot food! Breakfast too

Plate lunches were very good! Customer service was great also! The guy serving the plate lunches was very kind and informative. We felt welcoming as out of towners and enjoyed the small talk with him. Would stop again! Food was 🔥!!

Everyone is so sweet and nice, great hot food! Prices are at higher prices, but understandably the only good, hometown store for a few miles, away from all other places, if you live at Holly Beach. Thank you for your GREAT SERVICE, EVERY WORKER!♡

Prices fluctuate from day to day at the food window and a lot of things are over priced due to it being the only store if it's kind for several miles. I believe that is immoral. The food is decent to eat most times but you never know what you will pay for it. One day my sandwich is $2.65 and the next day the same exact sandwich is $3.99

I love Brown's!! Great people all the way around, and the emoyees are most friendly and knowledgeable. I've been in Hackberry almost 4 years, and have noticed there is rarely a turnover. Mr Brown is always friendly and does not hesitate for a single second to lend a helping hand. Very Christian people!!

Try the pork tenderloin wrapped in bacon and stuffed with cream cheese and jalepenos. If you're feeding more than 3 people get 2. I served with grits, amazing!

Nothing but the family in that place and there's no taxes on their food items Hackberry is known as an island it can completely shut itself off from Calcasieu the people tend to congregate in a month's those they grew up with or those from that area but are very generous with their friendly demeanors in accepting others

They are friendly and nice they take ebt ther and u can buy deli food with ebt I got my toe on a watermelons looking at deli food and it bled and a worker showed me the bathroom and gave me a bandaid

Loved this store it was well maintained and the employees were very nice and the produce section empressed me the most. I would recommend the drive from Sulfur or any close town to shop with them any time.

Although located in a very small town, it has a wide range of products so you can find most of what you need. And the prices are reasonable on most products. They also have non-ethenol gas.

the stoer is not set up to handle the amount of busness (traffic) and beware check everthing you pick it's probably out of date or ruint, examples package donuts hard as a rock, chicken from the deli so over cooked it's like powder.
