I'm a disappointed to see so many good employees quit all because of Melinda ( District manager) They can't keep the hard working and honest employees due to the lack of respect Melinda has towards employees!The store is always under staffed and 1 employee can't maintain the busy store putting out stock and checking out customers! The line can gets pretty long at time's bc we have to wait for a cashier's to stop putting up thing's to get checked out!When you ask people why they are leaving it's because of Melinda and few rude customer's!There are people who went even put in applications because of Melinda reputation! This store has suffered immensely in the past 3yrs! Corporate has been many times and there's been no positive change!I truly hope for this town that something gets done! We are normally out of everything once thing's are put out! However if you want to know why employees don't stay it because of Melinda!

They treat you like a meth head when you try to buy cold and flu medicine for your sick kid. Not very professional. There's a pretty good chance that I won't spend another dime in that place.

Dollar General in Gueydan is a good place to shop. Several good employees there. They have a guy, Todd. He always has a smile, he always says hello or good morning. Offers to help and will bring you to the item, not just point.
