I went to Walmart on Manhattan, and they didn't have the milk that I usually get, so I decided on this neighborhood walmart. It was a great decision. They had the milk, and I saw some items that I had been looking for at the regular Walmart stores. Nope, this store is pretty amazing.

The pharmacy department needs reevaluation inconveniencing someone have them go backwards and forward. It doesn’t make sense. As another am doing everything to a convenience, according to my life. Monday I arrived at the drive-through pharmacy in Gretna neighborhood. Walmart was there to pick up prescriptions for my sons, but I was told I said of prescriptions was not ready. I looked at my app and the prescription said that they were there the lady at the window insisted the prescriptions was not there. I told OK I drove off. I called a day or two later to see if my prescription was there like it was still reading it was there and then the lady over the phone had audacity to say yes it’s been here two days ago OK I was there Wildwood. It was an ad giving the prescription to the I was there. She goes to ask me how far do you live so inconveniencing someone is cute. No, I don’t think so , but at the end of the day I went back Friday try to pick up the prescription and you forget to put the prescription. All of it in the bag had to go back after I received a call saying that everything was not in the bag silly of me not to look , because I know they have a pattern of writing stuff down and not placing everything in a bag and doing different things that’s not becoming 30 minutes away come back you think the lady that just called me would have mention that you’re gonna be gone for an hour now I’m sitting outside in the heat because she asked me. How far are you away? That’s none of your business. I’ll be back, but you think she would say Miss Bryant we’re leaving for lunch for an hour. Just a simple apology for inconveniencing me four times in one week would’ve been nice. I will transferred all my prescriptions to another location to another pharmacy. Not even Walmart because I’m sick of rude inconsistent behavior from people who should be paying attention to everything you’re dealing with people medicine transferred all my prescriptions to another location to another pharmacy. This is my usual grocery store where I go to buy my food. Yesterday when I did my grocery shopping, I accidentally left one of my grocery bags behind at the checkout. I didn't realize it until today when I was looking for my rice and it was nowhere to be found, along with 2 other missing items. I went to the store to see if anyone turned in my left behind items. They did not. However, the store manager was nice enough to let me go grab the 3 items to replace the ones I'd lost. Money is tight and I really didn't have $15 extra to buy those items again, so I really appreciate them doing this. This made my super stressful life just a little easier ❤️

If there was a 0 star option , trust me that would be my answer. I am highly upset with the lady checking the recipes, her name is Elisabeth . 1 VERY RUDE , 2 VERY RACIST. Lady assumed items weren’t being scanned when I showed her they were & watched us the whole time we scanned. me and my family felt really targeted. Then persisted to call a manager from the back to tell her about a Item we BOUGHT. I find it really upsetting how she picked and chosed who to check and who to let go. People like that shouldn’t be even hired. Especially being a greeter and having the nastiest attitude. highly dissatisfied.

Check cashing is a problem. The $2 fee was doubled to $4!! No matter the amount of the ck! $10 ck. Walmart keeps $4 u get $6. On top of this they nitpick in the ID process. Thank God I have a bank account and it is nearby. They once kept a book of customers names who they cashed checks for successfully. That is not the case anymore. The location is convenient and open on holidays. I went there for 4th of July holiday. And battled to cash a $30 ck.

By 11am they are out of everything. You would think they would restock more than once. Nothing but self-checkout. Since the average customer does not know what they're doing when checking out the line is to the back of the store. Also they never have carts. The pharmacy is a saving grace. They are very efficient.

Surprisingly fast self checkout system. The single line I stepped into today was extremely long, but it moved way faster than I would have expected. Great work between the staff up there doing whatever it takes to keep it moving.Still doing good

Overall a very well run Walmart. At times the check out line is long but the staff doss try to minimize the waiting time. Not a large auto supply section and at times due to the store being so busy an item like single roll paper towels may need to be restocked. Staff usually very friendly and helpful.

It was cool. Very cool. Might've been 68 degrees but the store surprisingly accessible. The staff was very helpful and assistive. The shelves were dust free the checkout was fast and very convenient. Miss Estrella was polite yet professional. She strikes as the type who isn't afraid to get her hands dirty. I would most definitely recommend this store to all that are interested or curious. 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Liked how the store had in stock everything I needed to buy. It was not crowded so I was able to get what I needed quickly and safely. However, very vey disappointed that there are only self checkout registers available!! No more person cashiers at this store. I had a cart full of groceries that I had to scan and pack myself. I feel sorry for people that have challenges using self check out registers. There were 2 employees directing traffic n assisting as needed.. I had to ask for assistance with ringing up veggies and fruit. If I am going to scan and pack my own groceries, Walmart should reduce prices on all their products 🙃!!!

This store is more focused in selling food than anything else which makes it better for anyone just looking for food items. That way you don't side track in other stuff that you probably don't even need. There is a decent amount of people shopping but is not too crowded. The store does offer money services which is convenient and has a gas station outside. Overall is a very convenient store

For the first few months it was great, and has gone downhill greatly since. The past week alone there's been no end at the outside fuel station, since new management they start closing at 11:00 instead of midnight, and the selection started out a little more upscale and has since backslid. The younger kids are friendly, but there's a bunch of being on the phone instead of working. The baskets tend to be everywhere outside, and a few times no baskets at all. They've also got rid of the hand baskets, for some reason. Very disappointing since they are four blocks from my house and is very convenient.

Horrible! I do not like self checkout. The register messed up several times. Wouldn't scan some items and then charged me the wrong price for several items. Had to get an employee to help. Then, she had problems as it wouldn't take her employee number so she could fix the problem. It took at least 10 minutes if not more to finally get it straight. Bring back checkers. I came home and told family I will not be going back to any Walmart unless they have employees that are manning the registers.

I love this location. And now people are coming from out of nowhere wanting service. This location been self check out. Go to Wal-Mart on Manhattan with your complaining. Seriously. They have People like me who enjoy self check out and prefer it that way. Don't want to wait in the long lines? Stop coming over here making the lines long! We didn't have this before IDA. Go back to where you came from with your negativity and 1 star rating. Seriously.

This place is getting worse by the minute ,fire the lazy a****s who don't want to work , this a 3rd fail on pickup ordering.I am wheel chair bound and my wife sat there for 45 minutes and still no help.other cars were getting items and my wife was informed they were left overs from earlier this morning. Glad you people weren't on my flight crew, as we would all be speaking Russian. If they don't want to work fire them. !!!!!!!!!!ThankLes Cowdrey

There is a disconnect between this store and the grocery delivery service. If you want delivery from the westbank, it’s probably best to go with Behrman. After I was told to contact the store by customer service, the pick up associate told me they do not speak with the drivers even when they see them and that even though he can see my order in the store, they have no contact and I would need to organize my own driver to pick up the delivery. I realize the delivery is a convenience, but it is 4 days after my delivery time and the tracking says it is on its way. The store is about 8 minutes from the house so it shouldn’t take days. I just didn’t have a car available that day to use.

Nice service, lines move along nicely. Friendly cashier... Pharmacy experience was nice too... Way better than the (Walmart on Lapalco in Marrero. Bad staff, bad pharmacists, bad service, bad customer service, nasty attitude employees, black females mostly, one asian female, and one old white female. I wish they get employees like at this one over there quickly. Almost every visit is grueling.) This Walmart gets an A+ overall.

Always fresh produce section, and have a good variety of organic vegetables and herbs. Meats always look great as well. Not much of a seafood section in this store. Fairly new store,everything is clean. Handicap accessible parking and entrance. Also have self checkouts. I drive from marrero to get produce here sometimes. Employees are friendly and helpful.

Covenient and great location, selection and products .Facility is always clean including the restrooms, staff friendly and helpful when needed. Has a gas station in parking lot as well. Easy access off the bridge and nearby my daughter's school. A literal "one" stop shop❣️

The place is small but well organised and looks clean, the only thing was heading out when someone behind me in line trying to tell me & my daughter to go to the other side of the self checkout machines and start a line there ... (Crazy lady no doubt ) we were actually standing right behind the very next person to self checkout so no point in walking 15 yards to follow instructions from a nobody who wasn't even employed by Walmart

This Walmart has the best pharmacy I've ever been too. They are always super nice and courteous. The prices of my monthly meds are low compared to quotes from other local pharmacies. I'm a pretty busy person and the drive-up is so quick and convenient. I'm so glad I found this place. The store is nice also.

I am disabled due to a herniated disk in my back and had to struggle to use self check out, no one offered to check me out and my back is severely hurt because of this, employees were just standing around staring at the ceiling when they could’ve been helping check people out, I am not an employee of Walmart, therefore I should not have to work for Walmart when I am unable to physically, I will not be returning and I will be using competitors for groceries next time so that I have an employee to check me out, if you force people to work for Walmart temporarily and play cashier you should be giving them at least a 20% discount on goods, awful experience

Did curb side pickup. After calling to let them know I was there they had the groceries to the car within 3 mins. Although happy about that I was very upset when I arrived home and saw I didn't get 5 cans of ABC's and 123's I ordered for my son.
