Today the mgr was giving a King cake, away for free. Was a nice game for the customers. You had to find a 9 on the floor.. cute lil game!! But a employee showed his friends where it was. The mgr didn't seem to care when I told him. Was my favorite grocery store!

Just a short drive out of my neighborhood (which has no supermarkets), a brand new Rousesat Stumpf and Franklin.Simple morning trip to get a Bakery Chocolate Doberge Cake, personalized, out the door,and home for a birthday surprise.It's a very busy parking lot out there. Shoppers walking everywhere.Tight driving lanes. Watch out.👀(Oh, and Rouses cake costs about⅓ the $$$$ the famous NOLA bakery gets. No offense intended, but they get about a hundred dollars. It's Cake.That generations old "G" bakery makes great stuff. But their store isn't on the Westbank anymore. So, thank you, Rouses bakers!)

Rouse's always has the best selection and deals on meat and seafood. And they always tend to support local brands and offer foods not seen anywhere else such as, "Jumbalaya Boudin" by "Jumbalaya Girl" a New Orleans brand. Yummy!!!

The GRETNA store IN WESTSIDE SHOPPING CENTER needs a * Total Makeover & A ** Re-Grand Opening like the Bellchase Store, Gretna store has dark lighting , cluttered floor space. THE BAKERY BAKES THE COOKIES TOO HARD- U CAN BREAK A WINDOW WITH THE ROYAL COOKIES..The surplus/over stock is all displayed in the aisles THE STORE IS NOW THE " WORST" ON WESTBANK ..Shoppers on social media, neighborhood groups give RANKING: 1-Bellchase,2 Lapalco & Ames, 3 Algiers, 4 Gretna--OUTDATED, CAN ADD MORE WALL SPACE, WASTED rear on side and Huge property in rear...Many shoppers on Westbank avoid this store as it worth the extra drive to the Lapalco or Renovated BELLCHASE LOCATION, SORRY GRETNA, IT NEEDS SOME HELP & NEW LIFE...

I absolutely adore this place, they have everything I need, prices reasonable and the staffs are awesome. I come here to get flowers made by Carissa she is super sweet . I recommend this location rouses to anyone

Rouses is great; boiled crawfish along with ur regular groceries. Lines arent that long either and cashiers(4 the most part) are professional attentive and get u on ur way smoothly and quickly

Great place to shop with reasonable prices. Was fast checkout and they always have what I need in stock. They even had a few hard to find HUBIGS Pies, but the cashier grabbed the Apple instead of the Lemon I requested..

Customer service counter Michelle was so helpful! We are from Ohio and were looking for a specific bag. We had gone to 3 rouses looking for them and she was the only one to know what we were talking about! Very thankful for her help!

Nice service at checkout, real friendly employees. But the shadows that follow you like you're trying to steal is repulsive. I don't appreciate been treated like a criminal when am spending like a thousand in cash on food. An before I could finish unloading my groceries into my car. They was taking my stuff out the basket as if I was tryna put it into my car.

The service provided by FAITH 💕 at the Customer Service counter was absolutely amazing.I explained to Faith that the Gen De Gaulle location had hung up on me twice and her location once after multiple attempts to get an arrangement for an event I was attending. She explained to me that the florist wasn’t present but she would assist me to make it right.She immediately heard my concern and went immediately into action. She assisted me with creating the bouquet with no experience. She helped me handcraft the ribbon and provided the supplies necessary to ensure I was valued as a customer.Because Faith is a TRUE PROFESSIONAL & going above and beyond her normal duties she made my experience surpassed any expectations.I will definitely continue to be a lifelong customer at this Rouses & it’s all because of Faith. Thank you so much for taking care of me.

Just experienced RACISM from the white lady with the red short hair. Then the black women with the bob came up and said “this is a screenshot we can’t accept this” WHEN IM LITERALLY ON THE STATES APP LA WALLET TO SHOW MY ID!!!! This is literally CRAZY!!! I never in my life experienced ANYTHING like this!!! They need to be FIRED. They literally assumed my ID was fake because I’m a black woman WITH LA WALLET ON MY PHONE????? INSANE!!!! I will do everything in my power to get them FIRED. I promise you.

This was a pick up order. Even though I asked for no substitutes. I keep getting text messages, asking to replace an item. Ok fine. Then after getting home, realizing I was missing a pack of cheese. Which they refunded. This was my first pick up order and will be my last. I was very disappointed in the service.

I'm just giving this 3 stars relative to other grocery stores. There's better and worse but rouses is kinda right in the middle. Not a lot of specialty foods but the prepared foods are always running though they're not as good as some others.This rouses is pretty solid compared to other ones. Good booze section and the lines move pretty quick even on holiday weekends. They provide organic selections on this and that but not much.The store is clean and the employees are helpful. Really I think it could be 4 stores if there was something that made it stands out against any other "premium" grocery chain. 5 stars if it was just outstanding bc and life changing.

I love love love Rouses! Everything is always so fresh! The steaks are amazing, their prepped meats are also wonderful. I love the fajita beef!The staff are always so friendly, especially those buggy guys outside. Makes me look forward to going to the grocery store!Fantastic selection and reasonable prices!

I really enjoy this store for it's convenience, selection and prices. The employees are the only thing I have an issue with. Every time I go to this store and Interact with the employees it's the same unfriendly interaction. As a customer and person I give common courtesy. A "hi how are you?" In this store is met with dead silence. It's a great store to get what you need quickly and cheap. If you are looking for a smiling face with your customer service or friendly interaction with the employees you speak to, then this is not the store for you.

I use to absolutely enjoy shopping at rouses, but not anymore. They really need to get rid of the dumb policy of presenting an ID to return an item WITH a receipt. That's like making everyone wear a mask, or getting the injection that clearly doesn't make any sense. That's like punishing the people with recipients for the ones that don't have a receipt. Ask for an ID without recipient. My ID, I don't want to give it up to anyone just because they request it. Crazy! Welp, they've lost a faithful customer.

I went in to get unsweetened prune juice....they do not carry it!!! 😩 Ughhhh, I was expecting "ROUSES" to have it. It did not, very disappointing. I was leaving out of the store...my daughter decided to meet up with me to console me about results of the doctor's appointment, I just had and the prune juice debacle. We landed upon the Asian hot food bar lovely. We gravitated to the cookies, the Gentilly cake and the Strawberry Shortcake and the portion control servings. We then strolled on down to the slice cake and the birthday slices which ended up, by us being by the display case with the whole cakes and the ladies behind the counter. I would like to speak to these ladies supervisors on all shifts, for all shifts. These ladies are the number one cause of people eating in their cars, people lying to their children and saying they don't have anymore, people being late to work on their lunch breaks and not clocking in properly, people cheating on their diets, taking 3 more bites when they should be taking no more bites, people saying that keto doesn't work, people saying how did I gain 5 lbs? I'm not eating any sugar. I need to have these people reviewed. Let these LADIES know please that they're doing an amazing job wrecking people's lives for the BETTER!!!! Ladies in the BAKERY!!! I love you to the moon and back and so does my fupa!!!! My visit was on 9/20/22 in the afternoon, I was buying all the purple sliced ... lol!!!

I haven't had any problems there, except some of the high prices, meh what you gonna do about it? lol... One last thing, I did buy some fried chicken there, it looked like the best chicken I had ever seen, picked up a drink, I was like yes I am about to enjoy this...😳... nope... it was horrible. No salt, no seasoning at all. I have never bought food from there ever again.

Great store. Employees are exceptionally nice and helpful. They have so many handicap scooters that customers never have to wait or fight over. They always give rainchecks or substitutions for anything they run out of. Employees always there to help load your basket or car.

Rouses has really good produce, always fresh and vibrant. They are a little more expensive than Winn Dixie and Walmart but if you shop the sales you will be fine.

Bought two packs of T-bone steaks.What caught my eye was the large filet side of the steak.When I got home to to clean them to put away,I found that their butcher had removed two of filets from steaks and hid those steaks on the bottom.Even your grocery store cheats! Thanks Rouses.

I have not been in this store for over 3 year's. It was a pleasure shopping in the store again to get the things that I need. The only thing that I did not get was the Hubig's pies. Due to it only comes in on Monday and Friday. Hopefully when I am back in town I can get some

I like their Gretna location a lot. The people who work here are very friendly & helpful. This store reminds me of a Whole Foods a lot. It’s clean & they have a lot of local produce & luxury food items. I really like tier pre made yogurts. Also they have a huge selection of local coffee. Parking is very easy to find here unlike the one on Baronne Street.

This is the by far my favorite Rouses location on the West Bank. There’s a great and fresh selection of fruits, meats, and salads to choose from. Whenever I go here in the late afternoons there’s always many cashiers that are friendly. You don’t wait in the lines long at all. I can appreciate how hard the staff works to keep the parking lot clean and the grocery store neat!
