What a joke of a pharmacy. They leave two hours early every single night. I had an asthma attack tonight and didn’t have my inhaler because of this horrible pharmacy. I showed up at 8:10 to pick up my prescription, I work in Hammond. They were closed for the fifth time I tried to go there. Sign clearly says open until 10

I've had issues with this Walgreens pharmacy in the past so went with mail-order - no more issues. I only visit occasionally now. Avoid rush hours or plan to sit in the pharmacy drive thru until you have your first grandchild. Definitely don't show up during a lunch break unless you brought your lunch too. They're closed for lunch from 1:30-2:00pm every day. I'll rate generously because on my latest 3+ trips they've had everything I needed & no issues at all. The store is in a convenient location & has plenty of parking. Look for sales & clearance items. Earn & use Walgreens points.

Sat in line 45 mins after work to pick up prescription but was told to come back at 8:10 pm. I went back at 8:20pm only to be told to come back Tuesday . Professional pharmacist said this, come on what kind of Bull is this?Please quit lying to people. My time as many other customers is just as valuable as yours.This happens every month, either the pharmacy staff is rude to you as soon as you pull up or walk up or they outright lie to you. It doesn’t hurt to be nice and be truthful. Why would put someone out of there way to come back at a certain time then tell them to come back Tuesday ?

Saturday night Walgreen closes at 6pm. I was at the drive-through at 5:55 waiting in line and I was the next one in line and right when I pulled up right before 6, they shut the blinds in my face, very rude.

Waited for almost an hour in the drive thru lane. I had my medications filled here for the first & last time yesterday evening. As soon as I got home I counted all my pills & I'm missing 10 100mg seroquel tablets but they gave me 3 extra gabapentin. They might want to start watching the pill counting camera thats supposed to be used when counting out meds & they need to count their inventory. I know I cant be the only one when both my prescriptions were off by several.When I called & spoke to the pharmacy manager (Stacy or Shelly) she said to bring them back in today. However the high for today is 30 degrees & the pharmacy is 20 minutes from my house. More than one person is supposed to count these meds before they are sent out. So you're telling me 2 different people missed counted by TEN.Don't have your medications filled here unless you can afford to be jipped. By the time I make it up there after this freeze I'm sure I'll be told they can't help me & I'm sure they anticipated this result when they decided to steal from me. I will be filing a formal complaint.

Do not get your prescriptions filled here. The employees are extremely unprofessional, rude, and preoccupied with their cell phones. Not to mention slow. I switched over to a different pharmacy because of my horrible experience.

Thursday October 27, 2022, 1:30 am., the pharmacy tech working the drive through needs to be fired. I am so tired of her flat out rudeness. I feel like I get white girl treatment every time I come here. Really sad. I absolutely hate this pharmacy! Zero stars from me!

This is one of the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. I was displace and filled a medication one time at the Walgreens on airline in Gonzales. I told them it was one time and this month had to get them back to Dons in Hammond. They told me I had to wait cause they where going to lunch for 2 hours. Then my pharmacy called them and was put on hold then got cut off after 30 minutes. He called back was place on hold again whitch no one ever answered. I finally got through 10 minutes before my phar4 close and the lady said for them to call her back at this point I said no. I told her she needed to call as he was not going to go through this as they are busy and doing there jobs she needed to do hers. Never want to go there again. Now I won't know till the morning if it has been done

Called Friday to check on my prescription was on hold 2 hours.Finely my friend call the number for the clerk answered and was told the pharmacist is close. I was still on hold after two hour, recording started at you are third caller , 45 minutes later second one hour and fifteen minutes later first caller and they was close. My dr call in my prescription on Thursday at a 11:30 am left a voice mail. today Monday still no prescription.I will be transferring to a another Walgreen. So Done with the Gonzales store.

I've been with this Walgreens Pharmacy for years & they used to be really good. But I'd say in the last year or so they have gotten terrible. You can hardly ever get them on the phone & when you do you will be put on hold forever. The staff in there are very rude & get an attitude with you & act like they hate their job. I usually go to the drive thru but most of the time the cars are backed up because they are so slow & take their time. They also should have more staff in there. Quite a few times it was only the pharmacist having to work the drive thru & store. It's never been more than 3 people working at a time. They've told before that my prescription would be ready in an hour & go wait in line at the drive thru & its not ready. Then I did refill over phone & go pick it up it hadnt filled. I would like to turn them in but not sure who to report it to.

The only reason this store gets a one star rating is because there isn’t anything lower. I had less than a weeks worth of pills when I tried refilling my prescription. I was told it was too early to refill. I tried calling Walgreens only to be left on hold for 30 minutes. When the phone finally started ringing, it rang for 10 minutes. By the time it was answered it was after closing time and they hung up on me. Now I have to go into the store and they are going to wish they answered the phone.

The slowest, rudest, most unprofessional pharmacy I've ever encountered. Not only will I never do business with the pharmacy again but I have no intentions of doing business with Walgreens in Gonzales. Made the switch to CVS directly across the street last Sunday. Not only was the staff very friendly; my RX was in stock, ready for pick up in 30 minutes, and $20 cheaper than Walgreens. And to top it off, there wasn't a homeless guy hanging out in the parking lot harassing customers for money.Update: Was forced to use this Pharmacy once again because the other local pharmacies in the area did not have the prescription. Received a call from my doctor saying prescription was ready to be picked up on the 2nd. Showed up at the pharmacy to pick up my Rx and the tech told me it would not be ready until tomorrow the 3rd. Showed up today at 5 p.m. to pick it up and of course they respond with " it ain't ready, give us 30 minutes". So I leave and get 5 miles down the road and receive a text message letting me know my prescription is ready for pickup. I've never seen a professional operation ran so horribly and without any respect for the customer / consumer. This Pharmacy is a joke.

Some of the pharmacy staff was very rude and very unprofessional. If they don't like the job they have then they need to go somewhere else. I asked about my insurance going through and she just walked away. Then when I asked another lady in the pharmacy if a manager was in she had an attitude too. I will never go their again. I will stick with my regular pharmacy.

Zero stars. No one at this location is helpful, filing official complaint with corporate. I used to think Walgreens service was better than other pharmacies but it is no longer the case. I was trying to get a refill of my prescription that I have a year of refills on at a previous Walgreens in Az until august 2022. They will not answer the phone even for the store and I actually need to speak to the pharmacist since they won’t fill it even though two different doctors approved it. They “closed out my rx” and said they can’t do anything and I have to call my doctor again. I’ve had them do this every month I’ve been here and they won’t resolve the issue. I’m tired of bothering my doctor for refills that already should be approved. I’m going to run out of meds and it’s 100% Walgreens fault. It says my call can’t be completed every day this week I’ve called and they are open and not closed for lunch when I call. Unacceptable.

Me and my wife are currently sitting in the drive through pharmacy. There was 3 cars ahead of us and we have been sitting here for almost an hour. These pharmacist are 100% completely incompetent and every single one of them should be fired. I would leave no stars if I could.

What ever you do don't make this your store. You will have so much trouble getting your medicine. Over and over. Every time. Don't try to call its a joke. When they answer after being on hold an hr. they hang up without even helping you. I have no choice but to get my medications at another pharmacy not Walgreens. Dont waste your time. Called corporate doesn't do any go. Havent seen any improvements. Bye Walgreens.

I just transferred my monthly prescription to Walgreens. The Pharmacist is quite possibly the least caring human being I ever encountered. She was so excited when I wanted to transfer across the street. Less to fill, less work for her. They are understaffed horribly I see it and get it!! But don’t take it out on customers, find another job please. It’s blood pressure medicine, people kind of need this stuff they aren’t trying to ruin your day ma’am.

Sadly this is the 3rd Walgreens I've visited today. They took my 7 month old's picture for his passport but didn't know how to size it correctly. One associate tried to edit and used some spray paint feature to paint a black border white. They tried to get me to purchase a $16 passport photo that looked like a Elementary school project. One associate even blamed my son moving for the picture being the wrong size. That didn't even make sense.

I waited in line for 15 minutes to pick up a prescription that was ready since 9:50 am. I gave a1 star because that is the lowest they have. I think I will find another pharmacy

If I could give this Walgreens pharmacy zero stars I absolutely would. The RUDEST pharmacy I've ever been to. 9 am the drive thru still isn't open so that's fine I walk in to hand off my scripts and there's a man in front of me patiently waiting for someone to actknowledge him. When she finally did she was so rude to him talked to him like he owed her something. Anyways, I walk up to the window and hand them to her and she said 'k 10:40' I told her my situation that I was having a dental procedure done in two hours and I had to have it at least an hour before. She said ' we just opened up you can't expect us to have it done that quick.' She then said 'k 9:30'. Just the tone you talk to people sets their day. It doesn't hurt to be nice and inviting in a social setting especially when you work with the public. Walgreens, you should do y'all selves a favor and weed out the horrible employees and maybe we wouldn't carry our business elsewhere.

I would give zero stars if that was an option. They have the WORST customer service of any pharmacy I have ever been to. Tried to call and speak to someone about a prescription. Spent 25 minutes going from hold music to ringing then back to hold, on a continuous loop. After 25 minutes they finally answered and immediately hung up on me. Called back and round two was a repeat of the first call. I see a new pharmacy in my immediate future.

Terribly slow because of understaffing and it's obvious the Pharmacists are feeling the pressure. Every time I come I wait in line a minimum of 20 minutes and the pharmacist are flustered/very short and rush me off every time. Was transfered here when Walgreens and Rite Aid merged and it's been chaos since.

I’ve been unable to use my rewards points for a long time due to my zip code somehow being changed in the system to an old zip code from years prior but had been told for months and months that they couldn’t edit it in the store for me and correct this info. Today I went in and was asked so nicely if I would like to correct this mistake in the store! I was then able to finally use my points and got my $5 off. Thank you to the employee at store #11281 in Gonzales, LA for all your help!

The staff appears just as frustrated as the customers and I don't blame them. The software cannot keep track of anyone's information. I have yet to go there where I don't have to get them to correct something on my account. This pharmacy was not prepared to take over all of Rite Aid's customers at all. Terrible.

If I could give no stars I would pharmacy is horrible I called them 3 time on 8/23/21 the first two time I was hung up on. When I got a hold to a lady the 3rd time I told her I was hung up twice she was rude and told me we were busy. I am not calling for the second time today and got hung up on after being on hold for an hour! They are ridiculous and unprofessional I would never go there or call they will rudely hang up on you and be very unprofessional!!

I waited inline for over a hour.for a covid test I tried making a appointment it kept telling me to go to orange Florida not sure where that's at the lady inside the store really needs people skills she was not helpful at all. Now I understand why there is such a low rating.

And when I went in to buy what I had already ordered online and ask to cancel my order, the pharmacist had a rude tone and told me I needed to do that at the front. I wouldn’t buy anything here if my life depended on it because clearly they cannot provide any kind of service.

Walked in to see if they had over the counter Covid tests. I asked the woman upfront if they had over the counter Covid tests. She said "No".So I asked if they were out and if she knew of a location that carried them. She just kept saying, "No", and "I dont know." to every question I asked.I realized that she did not speak English and had no idea what I was saying. All she had to do was direct me to someone that could actually help me.Will not be back. Horrible customer service.
