It’s been a while since I visited. Several times I’ve tried to go back, but it was always after they closed or on a Sunday. That’s on me, not Smallcakes. If you haven’t checked out their instagram feed, do. They post pics and videos of the daily specials. Let me tell you….. omg. They look delicious! I know from experience that their cupcakes are moist, fresh, full of flavors that burst across your tongue. I must get back there soon. I want to experience the tiramisu and Bailey’s whipped coffee. 🤤🤤

I have ordered multiple cakes and cupcakes from here and every time I am happy. The design is always perfect, cake is always moist, and the ice cream is always creamy.

I love the cupcakes at Smallcakes Gonzales! There are so many delicious options that makes it hard to choose. My personal favorite signature cupcake has to be the wedding cake. I've also tried a lot of the daily specials too. The banana's foster was delicious and one of the best cupcakes I've ever had. And, of course, I can't forget the pupcakes for my dog. She loves them! I would highly recommend visiting here!

I really enjoyed the cupcakes. They were moist and delicious! So far, my favorite flavor is the lemon drop. It’s always refreshing to have one in the afternoon. Stop by and grab a few cakes for your friends or family. They will certainly enjoy them.

I've come here on 3 separate occasions, 2 in one day, and they were closed. Halloween, they closed early, and I can understand that. I came on a Saturday, and a sign on the door said they went to vote and would be back by 1pm. Drove up at 12:57, and the sign was gone, and all of the lights were out, except for the in back. As my husband was getting out to go in, someone looked out the little window and turned off the lights. I keep trying to give them business during posted business hours, but they are not here. Makes me sad.

First time decided to try a new place. The staff was very nice and informative of the products they had present. I purchased 3 red velvet cookies(my favorite) and 2 Hot Cocoa bombs(one snickerdoodle one peanut butter). Unfortunately that was the worst red velvet cookie that I've ever eaten. It seemed to have the perfect texture not too soft not too hard. The flavor was great at first but then I got this overwhelming bitterness. Left a horrible after taste as well. I believe someone put too much dye in them. It even colored by tongue some which never happens. I had to toss them out. Hopefully my cocoa bombs or good. If I'm in the area again I may give them another try but nothing red velvet.

Horrible! Cupcakes are stiff and decorated with pretty icing. I went on Wednesday and then today and both occasions - disappointment! Cupcakes should be moist. They taste like grocery store cupcakes; ones that have been baked, frozen, shipped, thawed and icing clumped atop. I was a fan until the brand arrived here. Well I gave them a chance, two tries.

Today I called ahead for them to set aside 2 packs of their dog cupcakes and that I would be by to pick them up. When I arrived less than 20 minutes later, the ladies in the front informed me they sold them to a gentleman that had just left the store. The reason behind was they didn’t think I was coming and they didn’t want them not to be sold. Bad business ladies! I called ahead for a reason, said I was on my way and wouldn’t be longer than 30 minutes, you confirmed you had them and would set them aside for me, and I drove out of the way just for these cupcakes to be highly disappointed in your customer service. If you do order from this business know your order isn’t guaranteed!

I asked for 6 Wedding Cake cupcakes (there was no sign of a purchase limit). The employee at the front desk, was very gracious and said she would go to the back to see how many they had left. She came back to say there was enough and she would give me the amount I asked for. A lady, who I assume is the owner, came from the back and said ‘I can’t give all of my wedding cake out’, to which the employee said ‘I checked and we have enough’. The older lady said ‘it doesn’t matter’.As a paying customer, this lady was very rude and unprofessional. Oh - I was also blocked from the store’s Facebook page because of my review. How about acknowledging the horrible service and work to fix it, instead of blocking my review! Won’t patronize them again…

I have eaten so many of these cupcakes. They are all so delicious. Oh the ice cream and cookies are delicious too. I am making my way through the menu. I can’t wait to taste the cake balls. The staff are so friendly. I’ll see y’all soon

I love Small Cakes in Gonzales!!!! They have daily specials! You can order or pick up anything you need from cupcakes, cookies, ice cream and even pup cakes for your fur babies!!!! Definitely stop by to get a treat!

Had a red velvet cupcake, and maybe it's just me personally, but the cream cheese icing just wasnt the best? Still tasted good of course, but I wouldnt order it again.
