We have been using this lumber yard for over a year now and we couldn't be happier with the service we receive. The process of ordering lumber / products is made so seamless, from having our order ready for pick up to the option of same day delivery if ordered early enough. We have never had to wait an extended period of time for my order. The team, Henry / Glenn / Jennifer / Derrick, pretty much the whole staff at this yard is always available to answer any questions and their knowledge in the industry is unmatched. We highly recommend this lumber yard to anyone in need of top-notch service and quality products.

I have no complaints.We ordered cypress for a custom table we are building. It came in with extra effort on us and Picou but it all worked out OK. They have wood you cannot find anywhere else.They are very friendly and seem to know their stuff.

Love this place. It's my first stop shop for lumber and a lot of my tools. No BS lumber yard . The boards are always straight and they know if they aren't that you won't want them. Highly recommend 5* every time. EVERY time.

Not too good. The guy at the cashier didn't want to leave the station were the girls were and the guy at the counter in the back seemed to be glued to his chair. These guys must own the place or they have been there too long. Either way it was like pulling nails to get them to help you. Went to Lowes and got what we needed.

Woke up this morning with a delivery at the front of the house. No call, no message to ask us where the delivery should be put. No one signed for material nor checked to see if all material paid for was delivered. Simple call would of been nice.

After bad experience with professional fence builders, my husband and I decided to repair/replace the fence ourselves. Called, speaking with Alexis, who from the beginning was knowledgeable, patient, and professional. Now we're looking to help our neighbors replace parts of theirs and I'll be sure to send them to Picou for their materials. We will definitely be using them in the future for all our DIY projects.
