I had a horrible experience where the manager was very rude and unprofessional. I asked her if she was having a bad day to which she replied, "Not until now. " I guess she was angry because I disturbed her while she was vaping. True tpt.

I ordered a large sandwich tray for an event and upon serving the tuna sandwiches were sour and the bread was stale and the ends of the breads were still on the sandwiches. Called to speak with a manager about a refund. I was told to bring the sandwich back who would keep sour sandwiches and bring back the next day. The person I was speaking told me to hold on and hung up the phone, and I called back and was transferred to the deli.

Prices are higher than most local grocery stores but still love supporting locally owned and a part of the fabric of Gonzales. Friendliness is not as prevalent here as it once was. Has excellent sales prices.

I went in for lunch today not sure of what I wanted, but they had a pint of jambalaya in the cooler box. I didn’t want to eat it cold, so I waited in line at the deli and asked one of the ladies if they could heat it up. She said absolutely with a smile and told me it would be a couple of minutes. The rest of the employees were extremely nice and you could tell that they cared about their job. As a former owner of convenience stores, I understand how hard this can be to motivate your employees to care about their job. There is definitely a sweet spirit in this store, and I credit the owner, managers, and the employees for making the store and enjoyable place to shop! Keep up the good work!

Lemendola’s Supermarket is Awesome It is a Noce place to shop for Groceries definitely of the way our economy is today. They have sales and the prices aren’t too expensive or high. I Love the variety of products and food this store has. Food is fresh, and not outdated. I recommend anyone to this store definitely. Excellent Quality Of Foods. 😉🙌🏽🙌🏽😉👍🏽👍🏽

They were out of a dessert I wanted. The female employees in the deli were yelling across the store and laughing extremely loud. The rest of the employees were nice and hard working.

Everything you need for jambalaya in one stop. Butcher even custom cut the temple meat to my specs. Make sure and pick up some Leblanc seasoning for all your seasoning needs. Check out the aisle of rice, seasoning choices, and great Camellia bean selection. Worth the detour from Baton Rouge and I 10/12!

I got a lunch today. 2 pieces of fish, crayfish etouffe, rice, peas , cake and roll. I paid $21, didn't even know they charge by the pound and was my very 1st time eating there, and won't again, in all I got $15 worth of rice on the plate, could have gotten very good food from Mike Andersons in dinner portion. Very dissatisfied

Went in there to buy baby formula and didn't find specifically what we were looking for. Wound up buying a bunch of other things there Instead. We didn't go there for a bunch of other things! Great prices. Certain items only there.

I was greeted and assisted the entire time I was in the store. The baker made a special order of cookies that weren't available this morning. I decided to get lunch since it was available. The employees are amazing and the food couldn't get any better. Thanks Lamendola's!! I'll be back in the near future.

It's a good place to go in & out quick. It's not a huge store but the quantity of items are good for it's size. Meat is always very fresh. There is a Bakery section w/things like Lemon Meringue Pie & more.

It had been awhile since I last shopped here. The store was very clean. Employees very friendly. The prices however in comparison to so many different markets are very high. Their markup is very noticeable. I found even items on sale to still be quite higher than any other places around town besides convenience stores. I do understand paying for convenience but this being a supermarket supposedly for those living in the immed.area surrounding the store as a community can't help but feel it's being taken advantage of a great deal. The community has been great to Lamendolas having been at this location so very long. It'd just be nice to see a noticeable effort to keep at least some groceries needed as a staple prices down for their customers.

Haven't been there in a while and I want go back , price's are too high every business is trying to get over because of the recession that we are in but there is more options and that's the good thing about it, shop somewhere else if you can and this is just my opinion I see Rouses in my future ....😎

Prices are a bit higher, but there’s a nice selection of meat and freezer foods. They offer delivery, and have meat packages. Staff are pretty cool too!
