The first room was not the room my husband and I reserved. We asked to get a king bed and was informed hat they had no rooms that could accommodate us. We decided to just take the double queen beds after a three hour conversation with staff and manager. The manager is a crazy, ghetto black woman who was trying to antagonize my staff. She basically said if you don’t like your accommodations get out! Really- we just got off a plane after a long trip. We hadn’t slept and was on a missions trip.They finally decided that they would change the room.Second roomMy room was filthy. Someone failed to change the sheets which had blood on them. Soiled carpets! And again staff said I had to change my sheets because they don’t have a night staff.I would never recommend this hotel no matter how pretty it looks. Looks are deceiving!!! Staff sucks!

This place was nice as far as location, service, and rooms! I absolutely loved the easy check in process. The beautiful woman at the breakfast area was very nice & helpful with assisting us. Very clean, quiet rooms with bigger than normal fridge, microwave, sink, and dishwasher. My room was ready when I arrived so it didn't take but a minute to check in. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was really good! They had sausage gravy stuffed biscuits, croissants with sausage, egg, and cheese. As well as many other options. Everything tasted great for a continental breakfast. I will definitely stay here again when in the Gonzales area.

Stopped in on our way to Destin. When we walked in to check-in we were promptly greeted by the front desk clerk who was very nice and welcoming.She was dealing with local police because of a guest that didn’t want to vacate her room, but they were very professional about the situation and apologized for any inconvenience.I explained to the front desk clerk that we were traveling with a baby and she offered to bring us a pack and play, which was nice.We got to the room and it was spacious and clean. It worked really well for us, especially since it was our first time traveling with our baby.The only criticism I had was to the shower curtain. I didn’t realize that the shower head was favoring the outside of the tub, which had a shower curtain that wasn’t made to hold back the water, but instead spilled the shower water on the floor. I corrected it and luckily we had plenty of towels to clean it up.The next morning I decided to go to the workout room and was pleased to see that they had a couple of treadmills. The one that I used did the job. They also had dumbbells and a bench. It looked like the cycling machine wasn’t working, but that wasn’t an issue since I just planned on jogging.I came out of the workout and was welcomed by the same of the free breakfast and coffee. I was already running a little behind so I didn’t stick around to try it, but there were several people partaking.Overall, it was a good stay and I’d stay there again.

Checked in and was greeted by the sweetest front desk person Presley who deserves all the accolades for her service. Complimented me on my tattoos, like hers weren't perfect and adorable! Loaned me her favorite pens and reminded me of my Hilton rewards benefits. She is so sweetFacilities were clean and the complimentary breakfast was good. Who doesn't love making their own waffles on vacation?It's also directly across from outlets.. so shopping is easily accessibleNearby activities: Outlet shopping is nearby.Food & drinks: Please go to Don's and visit Natalie. She's the best server and the oysters are to die for!

The room was nice and clean. Unfortunately, the breakfast wasn’t appetizing. Now, what brought my stars down was an unfortunate injury. This was due to a lack of traction on the bottom of the tub. There was the “shadow” of the traction that once was there, but it was never replaced. I slipped in the shower, fell down completely, and hit my head on the base of the tub. I hurt my head badly and was in a lot of pain. I reported the incident to the staff. The staff did ask about my well-being, but they did not replace the traction on the tub let alone come to the room to investigate. Further, they did not compensate my stay in any way.

The breakfast options were poor. The food seemed to have been left out for a long period of time, the fruit was going bad and warm, and the waffle iron did not cook our waffles all the way through. The hotel staff that we encountered were very nice and hopefully, the breakfast will be improved. I would stay here again, just not eat the breakfast.

Managers are very rude and disrespectful. Only Hilton I went to where I was never greeted. Waited almost 20 mins to check in because no one was at the front desk. Overcharged my card four times and couldn’t give a valid explanation so they made up a lie. Desiree even discredited my Hilton Honors status as if it doesn’t matter. I thought they pride themselves on Integrity and us Hilton honors members. It’s not the hotel staff, it’s the managers Holly and Desiree. They need some more training. They do not have any customer service skills. The also racially profile you and charge your card accordingly. The worst experience in my life with Hilton and I stay at Hilton everywhere I go. Avoid this place. You wrongfully charged me for smoking cause I don’t smoke nor did you have proof of smoking. They couldn’t provide any proof after searching through the trash and everything.

The rooms were larger then I expected and extremely clean. I appreciate the ice machines on every floor and that were working. The morning breakfast was delicious and had so many breakfast sandwich options, so many juice options not just coffee and milk, as well as cold breakfast options. I would definitely stay here every trip when possible.

This is a wonderful place to stay.It is very clean and I am very picky. The front desk staff especially Dee is extremely Kind and understanding and very helpful. Everything was perfect in our room and the morning breakfast was a true hot breakfast with breakfast omelettes breakfast sausage biscuits McMuffin‘s very good breakfast.If you wanted to stay somewhere where you felt safe it was clean great continental breakfast big room this is the place to stay!

Didn't like the fact that they require a $150 hold on the payment card for incidentals. Was there for 2 nights and enjoyed my stay. On the first day I complained twice to the front desk about loud stomping above my room and it wasn't dealt with. The second day was much better since the problem people left. Rooms were clean and modern and very nice. Overall, a good stay at a reasonable price.

Very clean and brand new. It has only been opened a month. Not far a walk to French market, Jackson Square and the river front. However, there a small walk like a block that is darker and not as populated with a vacant building. In the day time no problem walking back and forth. Most of the Uber drivers are not yet familiar with this hotel. I would stay here again. Valet parking has a lot with a fence, you can see it from the pool area.

I stayed here on a road trip and was very impressed, more so than usual. The staff greeted me with a smile and a bottle of water even though it was the middle of the night. When I walked into the room, it was spotless, pressed, and smelled amazing. The kitchenette was well stocked with even silverware so I could eat my leftovers, even though I forgot plastic ware. Comfy bed, excellent breakfast, and a fantastic shower created a great sleep to prepare me for a drive. 10/10, will stay again.

The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Upon checkout I forgot something in the room and didn’t realize it til I was gone I called the hotel immediately and to my surprise they found my item and I was able to retrieve it the same day. I was overly excited about that and I can’t thank the staff enough. Definitely will be back to visit.

Just checked in. Called ahead of time for early check in we had to wait 25 minutes.150.00 hold on card which is ridiculous for condition of sofa bed in room, definitely needs up grading. But the worst part is I requested 1 additional blanket for the room and I was told they don't give out additional blankets you have to use what's in the room. The professionalism of staff is undesirable. The Manager Holly needs a new profession. I would not recommend staying at this low end hotel.

Tried to make reservations for this weekend. Whoever answered the phone could not speak English. From what I could understand the rate was going to be double what I was seeing on two different booking sites. When I commented on the high price, he said we’d get a discount when we checked. I am a Hilton member, they need to do better.

Overall everything went well on our first trip, the second trip the breakfast was missing many items and their cooler was broken so it was very simple options.Rooms: Rooms were spacious and clean. The only issue was the couch was worn out and coming apart at the seams.

I arrived after midnight and we were tired and hungry. I went to the front desk to purchase some snacks and drinks but no one was working the desk for me to pay for them. I called out thinking they were in the back office, no answer. I used my app to call the front desk from my cell phone, I could hear it just ring and ring, no answer. After waiting around and calling again for about 20 minutes, I left the items I wanted to purchase on the counter and went to my room where again I attempted to reach someone at the front desk only for no one to answer the phone. I finally gave up and went to sleep. I always use my Hilton app to find and books rooms, needless to say I was extremely disappointed and will not being spending my money here again.

A hop, skip, and jump from Baton Rouge, Gonzales Home2 Suites is a great hotel. Everything is new and clean. Rooms are spacious and can accommodate a family easily. I can’t even tell you how much I appreciate everyone on the staff here! We evacuated from Ida here, and part of our roof came off the hotel. This created a gas leak. Even in the midst of madness, miss Dee got us to a new room that didn’t smell like gas. We all toughed out no power together. We have had to keep extending our room and they’re so gracious every time. We love them! The manager with short dark hair is a gem too. They’re all angels! Bless you guys!

Front desk was exceptional, very nice and welcoming and always answered questions with a smile. Seemed to work most of the day and night and his personality never changed always smiling and personable. Hopefully he is paid well😀 The hotel itself was very nice and close to the outlet mall and several restaurants. Only negative thing was there was only one set of elevators but other then that it was a very pleasant experience!

Outstanding!It’s so nice to come to a hotel with wonderful customer service after being on the road all night long. Especially through a terrible storm. Presley was fantastic. The room was spotless and I wish we could have stayed longer!
