I give this place 5 stars because it's the only real surplus store in the Baton Rouge area that I know of. So, they do have real surplus clothing and other items you would expect. Not a huge store but packed to the ceiling with interesting, useful stuff at very reasonable prices. This store is worth a visit. You may or may not find what you're looking for, but you will likely find something you never knew you needed.

Was in middle of ask questions about a watch I really wanted to buy and guy answered phone call which was fine but proceeded to stay on the phone for the next 10 minutes while I was standing there waiting. It’s just bad business practice and rude. I waited and waited and still he did not even think about acknowledging me Wow still on the phone with whoever so I left without buying anything.

If it's military or tactical you're looking for, this is the place. Prices are great. Extremely knowledgeable owner. He's the kind of person you would expect to own this kind of business.

This place looks awesome now that they moved. They have a lot more things in there then it looks from the outside. They went out of their way to help me find a glove that was out of service and then we found an awesome jacket that fit me like a glove. I was thinking it was going to be expensive but when I looked at the price I was shocked to see it was only like $15. If you're looking for great stuff this is your place.

Really nice store. The gentleman who owns the place is super nice. Helped us to find what we were looking for. Told us to check back later for a few other things. We'll definitely be back, it was a well stocked store.

Bought many, many of things here, they always seem to have everything I need or they can help me find it. Very good on prices cheaper than I'll find online most times. If you have a kid or a friend that's interested in anything military this is a great place to get them a Christmas or birthday present.

Great cozy surplus store with a wide array of items. Also sells genuine MRE's. Largest selection of uniforms in the area, prices are amazingly low. Guy was helpful, friendly and not annoyed by my long visit as I browsed through everything.

Really caring staff. I was looking for a particular army patch. They ended up not having it but they were very apologetic about it. You can tell he really cared! He took the time to go look for it then called me back and apologized and also recommended other places I could look for one.

Went looking for the elusive tri color m65 jacket and first look through the right most window I spotted it in my size, couldn't be happier. Somewhat expensive but totally worth every Penny.

Gonzales Military Surplus has a broad selection of military surplus goods with excellent deals and prices on most merchandise. I was surprised by some of my finds and there is a good variety of new and old supplies.
