This used to be a great store with great customer service. The store is still well organized and clean but the customer service stinks. On the last three times I went there prices rang up higher than what the shelf said the normal price was. When I pointed out that it was higher than the prices on the tags I have been embarrassed, hassled, and fussed at by one particular associate named Ellen or Helen. She is the reason I will not be spending much if any money there any more. Also, they don’t answer their phones and no survey is available for you to deliver any feedback for potential improvements in customer experIence.

This is the best run Family Dollar Store in Ascension Parish! Never any crowded isles due to stocking issues like most other stores. Staff is always friendly and very helpful. Feels like Family for sure! Way that go guys. Keep up the great work!

The cashier could of been a little nicer.when my total was $18.30.i gave her a $10 dollar bill and a $5dollar bill.and $3 dollars in quarters and then .30cents in dimes.she just slam the money down on the counter like she was mad.i think she needs Jesus in her life.have a bless day.i will not be going back there no time soon.

Worst manager with poor costumer service skills on call. Her name is Tanya and she call the police over my husband and they basically laugh at her. One of the cashiers told my husband to be on the look out, because the manager didn't like him. We were recurrent loyal costumers that live in one of the subdivisions close by, so we go there all time. I guess she seen my husband multiple times and for some reason she don't like him. Before my husband was leaving the store after he finished his purchase, he heard the "manager" telling one of the cashiers that if he was not gone by the time she left the store, that she was going to kick him out of therr. Since he heard her saying that, he ask to talk to the general manager and it was her. He ask for her name and she didn't wanted to provide it and she didn't want to say who was her boss. She keep saying, I am the boss!!. So my husband was like, are you the CEO of family dollar? Then he mention, when I come here I buy stuff. My wife and I come here all the time. I am not stealing , so what is the problem? She got all defensive and then he left. Soon after that, he went to order a pizza at pizza hut and there was 3 deputy sheriff's patrols waiting outside. God knows what she told the police to have 3 patrols outside. They were laughing at her after the police find out the facts of what happened. She was telling the police that my husband who drives a 2015 mercedes and a 325i bmw was begging for money and that he was cursing outside. He was on the phone talking with me and his dad. That manager Tanya is as crazy and white trash as it gets.
