This store has had a dramatic change in these past 3 months and now it’s enjoyable to shop here. If you would have asked me a year ago to go shop at this store I would have thought it was a joke. This was one of the most disgusting stores in my area. Not only stock but trash everywhere in this store. The floor was always so dirty I didn’t even like walking on it. You couldn’t even push a buggy down any of the aisles it was so piled with boxes. I was always scared to move anything in fear of something falling on me. They are now under new management obviously so go ahead and check them out now. This store is the cleanest it’s ever been. Thanks Dollar General for making management changes because now I can shop at this store again.

Prices ringing up wrong and the manager on duty got upset because of it. She didn't want to honor it. And she was on the phone with her manager without me knowing. I got a refund she did not apologize or honor the price after she saw all the items were clearance. I ask for DM number but she did not give it to me. I don't like going in this store it always has new people that are not decent looking to be working in the public.

Shelves are stocked. People friendly. Place pretty clean. Most things are priced same as other store though. The bread or pastries I've bought there a few times was very yeasty smelling, couldn't eat and had not been out of date. I think it being located in front of store close to the door, the humidity gets to it. Should move further back in store. Good place to just run in to get a few things quickly.

This store seems to always have adequate employees friendly & helpful if needed. They always open an extra register if several people line up at the one open which is very impressive. There seems to be alotta customers in & out but this location is kept neat & clean. Always has been stocked well when I've shopped here. Keep up the great work !

I went to the Dollar General in Galvez for somewhere around that area and the lady said if it didn't work I could bring it back and what it was was a cell phone charger because I've been having problems with my cell phone so I bought it and I got home and I tried to use it and it didn't work well as I was it was in town later that day I went to the closest one which was right there off of Airline Highway and their manager told me that he doesn't know what she told me but he can't accept it in her or return it I even had the receipt and show them that where I paid cash money earlier that day and still refuse to take it back I'll never go there ever ever again

The cashier was on her phone talking loud. She was so slow ringing up your items. She was doing one at a time. She just look at you like why ate you here disturbing me. Story was disheaval.

I had a slip and fall and the manager saw I fell and lied and acted as if I never fell and I was lying..No ever came over to see if I was OK and I got lied on. I would recommend no one to this store no one have ever contacted me about my insurance money ...

They sure could use a new manager.and D.M.Who wants to go in a store shopping with kids and the music they have on is not appropriate.... really......they only have two good employees there.one employee he has been there for along time. And they have one good female employee too.she has been there for a while as well.make her a manager as well. they should make her a D.M. are a Manager too....with out those two employees nothing in this store would run right....have a bless day and God bless you....

Good store, mainly there for Dr. Pepper cream soda, one of my new fav drinks. They always have it and I have always been able to get in and out easily with friendly service.

So I went to The Dollar General in Gonzales and when I checked out they didn't have any bags so I had to carry my things out in my arms. But that's not the only thing that's wrong with the store. Things are all over everywhere. It's very disorganized and a lot of empty spaces where product should be.

What would Americans do without Dollar general? Working staff that's friendly. Always dollar store prices and lots of the items are name brand. Will always shop. Of course!!..

Loved the 50% off sale hated checking out. They have to manually take the discount off each individual item. Could not find a buggie anywhere.

This place overcharge me 1200 dollars scanned the same item twice. Poor quality with some of the workers. Not all but some.
