This morning on 12/22/23 I went to yalls store to buy grocery’s and picked up a bag of goldfish. I am just now realizing now that I have opened it the “sell by” date is really outdated. I would like to know why such a nice store is selling old food. What can I get in return?

Store is dirty. Missing a lot of well known brands. Prices are laughably steep compared to Rouses despite lacking any obvious advantage to Rouses. I don’t care for Jesus music blaring during my shopping trip. Don’t push your religion on me.Only good thing to say is that they keep shopping carts off the parking lot.

I visited Alexander's Harvest Market during the 1 day meat sale week. I found what I was looking for and went to the register to check out without a wait. I was very satisfied with the quality of the St. Louis ribs and pork chops that I purchased.

Excellent variety and choices of meat. Have a large selection of seasoned, wrapped and stuffed meats ready to put on the grill. Like being at a butcher shop.

We are new to the area and I was looking for a market to replace my Zuppardos Market in Metairie.Harvest did not disappoint! Great staff and quality products. Their weekly specials are great. Love the family feel!

First of all, this is a locally owned small business!! Support small business!!💙💙 All the employees are Super friendly!! They are always helpful! The store is always clean & stocked! They serve hot lunches until 2:00 every weekday, and they are DELICIOUS!!!😋😋 They also have “heat lamp” options & cold packaged items throughout the day that are equally as delicious! They offer some specialty items as well!They serve crawfish & deer meat & other things such as those, in season.Overall, Harvest is a spectacular little grocery store to shop!!

Been going here since they opened and enjoy it. I don’t like shopping, so it’s my choice because I’m in and out without wasting too much time. They have nice plate lunches during the week. They special ordered some items I couldn’t find on the shelf. The owners/managers seem genuine in their appreciation of your patronage.Updated April 19, 2023-This is still my go-to for groceries because they're friendly and you can see and hear their appreciation on display anytime you go there. Thank you, can I help you, can I help you find anything, I'll ring you up right here, etc., can be heard from smiles all around the store. It's changed since Alexander's bought it, but the people working there are the same helpful bunch I've always seen there.

I absolutely love this grocery store! The atmosphere is filled with great spirits and such positive vibes. So clean and orderly!Omg! Let's get into the delicious King Cakes that are made daily. Fresh, Flavorful and Addictive! Y'all have to try the Strawberry Cream Cheese to be precise.Last but not least, The Owner! He is so freaking down to earth and involved. Today was my first visit. I really like this supermarket. It's Nice, clean, and good fresh merchandise. Oh the store hours (6am to 8:30pm) are perfect for my schedule. See you folks there.

They have everything I need for cooking yummy meals, and they are conveniently located about 2 minutes from my residence! Food also always seems to be fresh and appealing to the eye. Last but not least the employees are awesome, they work efficiently and they are very friendly and helpful!

I made a special trip 20+ miles to get an ingredient the deli staff was very helpful!! The store was nice. The only problem I experienced was at checkout the cashier was to busy talking to the cashier at the next lane and didn't even acknowledge me until she was through ringing up my purchases.

Very helpful staff throughout the store...in beer area, in deli, in produce & at register. Store shelves were beautifully faced. Great experience for visitor from Houston with a history of family grocery store. Love the faith-based music. So uplifting! Blessings to all of you!

Staff is friendly, great bourbon selection! Stay away from their BBQ it is terrible! Must be a LA thing seasoning is half a pound or sugar and salt somebody from Texas needs to teaching them hiw to season ribs and brisket!

I go to harvest at least once a week. The staff there is always as friendly as can be. I love that they have a fountain drink machine right next to the entrance. I can fix myself a drink and enjoy it while I shop.On this particular day I went in for one purpose. WATERMELON!! I was able to find them super quickly. And was in and out in probably less than 5 minutes! Watermelon was really sweet and juicy too!

Love harvest brisket! It is juicy and so tender it basically melts w a great flavor! I know im supposed to review the store but feel like its my duty to let ppl know how amazing the brisket here is...it is a bit expensive about $9 for a pack and it doesn't look like much but u can make 2 sandwiches from it. And it is absolutely worth it! As for the store ..it is clean and has items u cant find in wal mart. It has a nice meat selection and the workers are polite and helpful.

Best locally owned place to shop. The store is very clean. There is a deli with a wide range of yummy food. There is tons of fresh bread to get and wide selection of wine. The workers are polite and helpful. I love to shop here because of the local onwership in particular.

Pricey like any mom and pop associated grocers but the customer service is stellar. Good sushi, good meat, great king cakes but bit small though price keeps going up. Good item selection. Love in house seasoning

If they don't have what you are looking for, they will order it. Deli meals are fantastic and the cakes are delicious! Friendly, helpful staff. Clean store and competitive pricing. Great supporters of the community residents, local schools and sports teams.

After my experiences at Alexanders this became my go to store. Now they bought it. I am not a fan of Rouses but I guess that is my only option now. At least their employees are helpful.

Even though the prices are a little high, I love the atmosphere and the people who work there. They give a little extra in service and that makes me want to go there Because I feel welcome. You don't mind spending a little extra because they make you feel Like family.

Always nice to stop by here for groceries. Never have been disrespected by the employees. I've known a few people that have worked here in the past and they're generally pretty good people.I recommend this place to everybody.

Great supermarket! The shelves are stocked perfectly, and everything is fronted really well. I asked a young stocker guy with curly hair for help and he pointed me in the exact direction I needed to go. I will definitely be back just because of him.

The store is good is fully stock and the people working there is very nice and friendly. We love it because we can come to this store to buy stuff we need at the moment we don't need to go to the big store. We highly recommend this place. This is one of the stuff we always get here...
