Went for the first time today. Fun experience, lots of deals. They need to be a bit more direct on prices though... need a better system or something. You think something is one price and you get to the register and it's not on sale like you thought because everything was confusing or misplaced. So you spend 3 hours with a basket full of stuff and then end up putting half your stuff back because it wasn't what you thought. It can get frustrating. Other than that it was fun and I plan on going back for a ceiling fan and a barstool.

When you go to Dirt Cheap, you better go as early as you possibly can. Cause I promise you, you will be in there for at least 2 hours. They have so much stuff, it will take you that long just to see everything. My mom and my grandson were with me. My grandson had a ton of fun going through everything. I found out that it's a good place to take him when there's nothing else to do.

It has been awhile since I shopped at Dirt Cheap in Franklinton, but today I decided to go shop there. I was pleased with most of their prices and merchandise. It was nice to see the long time employees still working there. Yes, I will soon go back there to shop again.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Dirt Cheap (bargain store). They buy liquidation sales, discontinued items, returned items from major retailers, etc. There is a plethora of goods to choose from. If you see it, buy it, because most likely, it won't be there when you return. There's always additional discounts on stuff, that has been in inventory for a certain period of time. Check with company policy about refunds. There are tables set up in the back of the store with electrical outlets to make sure an item is operable. You can buy almost anything here!!! One of my most favorite stores and I highly recommend you take a walk through, you'll be glad you did.

I've been going to this location for years, moved out of state and stopped in on trip back to visit family. I must say, this store has had a major overhaul since last visited. The layout was great, shelve displays were arranged nice and neat.If you are looking for some great deals, this is a must stop.

I love dirt cheap, except the Franklinton store, the GM, Gary is a real piece of work. Everything in this one specific store is more expensive than all the other dirt cheap. The only reason I'm giving this store 3 stars, is because of the amazing assistant managers and all the other staff that have to deal with this Napoleonic general manager..

Great pricing, plus the staff members are very polite, and helpful. Only reason I give it a 4 star instead of a 5 star. Is because the store wasn't very clean, or organized. They need someone to come in and give it afresh look. It wasn't grossly dirty, or anything. It was just simply not organized properly.

Pricing isn’t the same as when you scan the barcode. The staff doesn’t know what they are doing. The manager is very rude and not helpful. Most items are broken, so watch carefully.

I can never go in there and find anything I'm interested in to buy it is a total disaster I just go in there to see if they cleaned up Some LOLnot really I do go in there and see if they got a buggy but most of the time I'm disappointed in that whatever's in the buggy does not work our old clothes that come from the 50s every blue moon you might find something that you can really use

This place used to be awesome for dig and find bargains. Now they price most otems, other than clothes, at retail prices and then discount that. So it is no different than Ross or Home Goods or Tuesday Morning. Some items are above retail on last year's model. Look closely.

Edited on 5/8/21:We waited 15 minutes for the couple ahead of us to get checked out. Cashier was super slow scanning, and then there was an unknown issue that came up where all three of them were just standing there waiting for who knows what.When we finally got to check out, again she was super slow. We had picked up a package of paper towels from a display right in front of the registers: package of 6 for 3.99. There was nothing to scan so she went to the plackard for a code. No code. So she came back and started rifling thru a code sheet. She never bothered to ask for help from a co-worker or the manager. We finally told her to forget it. We would pick up some later.No apologies were forthcoming. I believe that the other cashier was also the manager.Either this cashier was afraid to ask for help, which is a problem with management, or she is just inept.

Super unorganized deals that you can probably find at Big Lots, or similar. Watch out for the prices on shoes! Merchandise almost row after row of the same items. Just “ok”.

Dirt cheap isnt dirt cheap. They have moldy clothes and shoes and they just make up prices if an item doesn't have a price on there. I know you think your getting a deal but your really not. Workers are rude and they never know where anything is at. Not organized at all and they do not label the items like they are supposed to be labeled.

This place needs a good scrubbing with some disinfectant it needs to stay up that can organize the shelves better and be more polite asking or something or what something might caused because it's in the wrong spot I would not go back unless they had a change of staff and management
