I grew up working on dairy farms near Kentwood Louisiana and Osyka, Mississippi, and moved to a city that rarely slept until 2020. My grandparents relied on Super1 when Safeway went kaput. Good prices!!!. Rude teenager "working" self checkout! Basically standing there and angry that she have to even say anything! God forbid she has to come put in a code! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! This one short African American teen specifically! I wish i would have got her name! Also self checkout not as smooth as most.

Very rude person at self checkout on today 12/5/2023 around 5:40 pm. She spoke at me, and made me feel uncomfortable. She had cornrows. Very mean spirited employee, seems like she doesn’t like her job and maybe shouldn’t be there.

Clean and well stocked BUT FROZEN FOODS are mostly spoiled or unfroze then refrozen horrible Sara Lee Cheesecake that was a special request from my wife’s 38th bday celebration it tasted like cardboard and car oil!!!

Went in today and found that they are selling old meat well beyond is freshness! Raw pork mixed with raw beef in the same section. Cross Contamination for sure.

Clean and well organized. Online website with updated weekly sale ad. Very good deals I must say. Curbside pickup option. Google pay option at register. Parking lot when you pull in you have to watch big holes.

The store has ample selection, decent pricing, and is probably paying a hefty lighting bill. It's brighter than a hospital in there. Not the best selection for liquor, plenty of beer and wine, the french bread is usually on point, their deli is helpful while their checkout service is usually good, rarely great, but one time was missing in action while they palled around in the nearby office. One thing that bothers me is how much trash some patrons throw right out of their cars onto the parking lot. Barely empty milk jugs, Happy Meal boxes, yeah I said that, empty Similac disposable bottles, so some of the clientele is not very considerate of others and that likely leads some shoppers to Raintree for slightly higher prices but for usually a more quality experience.

This Super 1 Foods is very good. The managers are very helpful and friendly enough. The store is as clean as it should be but the produce isn't always as fresh as it should be. 3 times in a row we've been there hoping to get fresh Salad 🥗 in a Bag and HARDLY ANY OF THEM were in a condition suitable for consumption 🤮. I don't know what's going on in THAT department. Until they get those issues together, they get 3 stars ✨ from us. 🙄

It's always clean and has friendly customer service but these prices are ridiculous. You can drive 15 minutes up the road to the New Iberia location and the prices are basically cut in half. Only come for necessities and even then, I try to avoid it.

I love SuperOne. I am there quite often. Their prices are great. They run great sales. Store is always neat and clean. Always well stocked. Their meat is very fresh. The cashiers are friendly, professional, and very helpful.

Well, the place is clean. The people are very nice. However I hate shopping there. First it's not a neighborhood market. They dont stock enough local items for people in the area, for instance gulf seafood. It's all from overseas somewhere. Then the prices, My God. They know that being in a small town we dont have a choice. I love Rouses and at times they can be expensive too, but they have what I want so I dont mind. And all of the meat is ridiculously expensive. I hate Super 1.

This store looks great but some items remain out of stock for long periods of time and I'm not too crazy about that. Also, here's a little Tip from someone who's previously worked at not 1, not 2 but 3 major Supermarkets: Whenever your item isn't on the shelf and an Employee tells you that, whatever stock that they had has already been put on the shelf, DEMAND to see someone else who'll take the time to check the Store Room in the back of the Store 🏬. That's where 'Overstock' is kept. There's a chance that your item is either on a distribution Cart or still on a Pallet. I used to put myself through a LOT of trouble by digging through the aforementioned places to find that 1 item that Customers needed and it usually paid off. Those Customers appreciated my efforts so much that they told Management and that got me salary raise after raise. Anyway, yeah. Just helping out my fellow Shoppers 🛒! 🙂

I was looking for a small size cake in the bakery. When the store was Winn Dixie, I could always get them. They don't have them now. I don't want to have to buy a big sheet cake or pay $19.00 when I just want a little cake.

What a nice clean store... great sales...good meat selection..hot deli food... looks good...so handy as regular Walmart next door but not a super Walmart...we get prescription at the Walmart but shop at Super 1
