The manager here isn't helpful. And is very ugly to me everytime I go in here. I asked for help getting something off top shelf and she told me it would be awhile c as use she was checking in a truck. And the cashier was very nice but she couldn't help cause her line was full. I hate not having a friendly manager. In this pic is the unfriendly manager, Jackie.

They have updated it but staff not friendly. Cashier talking on phone(ear bud?)during checkout. Basically ignored customer. Didn't thank me for shopping there ,which I won't again, even tho I spent 100.00. Will go to grocery store next time.

If I could give you a- --100 It was as dirty as it always is. If there was a fire everyone would die. Everyone wouldn't have a way out. The ONLY ONLY reason I ever go there is because what I get from there I can't get it around my house. EVERY dollar general store is horrible...BUT the 1 in Monterey Louisiana.I hope this post gets to someone who cares.

Lazy clerk and even lazier customers. Using the checkout counter as their shopping cart, allowing customers and their unruly children run wildly through the front of the store, (where DG conveniently places all the candy and junk food) grabbing little hands full and running back to the checkout, holding up customers paying with our own earned money v/s EBT cards. I will never go back to this location!

Self checkout is a game changer. I know renovations are still happening and I look forward to them being complete. Great store!

Customer service is ok and the staff is nice it's a little better since it's been redone but still got boxes on the floor in the way but it's better than it was.

Shopping good, but the management seemed unfriendly and acted like she really didn't care if she was there or not.Need to whole heartedly have someone that is personable just my opinion out of hundreds shopping there.
