I live at this RV Park. I haven't been here very long at all, but so far I like the location, and the services provided. Can't comment on the rental rooms/campers because I own my travel trailer. So far, I've met four of my neighbors & they seem friendly & have offered to help me if ever I need help. My advice: Please give this RV Park a chance whether you're in transit passing thru or in need of a permanent place to call your home.Rooms: Travel Trailers/Campers are available for rent at a reasonable price.Nearby activities: There is a huge fishing pond right in front of the RV Park that's available to residents ONLY to fish. The town of Egan ( where Cajun Haven RV Park is located) is nestled almost dead center between the City of Jennings & the City of Crowley. The driving distance between both cities are about equal (12 miles). Both these cities offer alot for the public. Where this RV Park is located in Egan...this town or village is very remote off the beaten path.Walkability: There is a convenient store less than 100 yards from the entrance of the RV Park. Definitely within walking distance.

We were supposed to stay here for 1 night as part of the last leg of our 6 week summer trip before the final push home, then the transmission on my truck went out on the last day. GiGi (the manager) was fantastic about extending my stay so I had someplace safe to keep the 5th wheel while the truck was being fixed. Her staff routinely kept an eye on it for me that week until I was able to come back and pick it up. The park itself is very convenient, being right off of I10. There is a large gas station/convenience store right in front that you could walk to once you're set up. The sites are gravel, but level. not much shade, but there are a few sites with trees. Fantastic water pressure. There is a pond with ducks and geese that my daughter loved to feed. Great prices and staff. I'd definitely recommend it for an overnight stay for vacationers, but there's no pool or bathhouses/toilets, so long-term probably isn't ideal for kids or folks that don't have good toilets and showers in their campers. I'd highly recommend it for a long-term stay if you're working in the area and need a monthly site.

Clean place, nights are quiet, friendly and helpful staff. They do an EXCEPTIONAL job making sure you are happy! Not really a campground more like mobile home park. Bad pot holes But We would stay again.No worries...I also love the feel here. Y'all Definitely make it feel like home. Pot holes not big deal at all. Appreciate the awesome care we received 💞

There is nothing fancy about the place but Gigi was very friendly. She drove us to our site and gave us recommendations on food places to get food. She also told us about a fun experience to get to visit and hold baby alligators that was not to far from the campground. The price is right and was fine to spend an overnight there.

Love my little quiet spot by the lake! Everyone was super friendly and felt safe being there. Definitely plan on staying here again and would recommend to others. Great pond for fishing.. we caught and released.

Great RV sites, long, level, full hookups, clean. Has a few older model rigs throughout the part but still was maintained and nice. Didn't hear much of I10 even tho it's right off the HWY. we had a view of the pond and the staff was friendly and helpful. There is a bar next door that has live music on the weekends but I think it's far enough away, it would not be a problem for weary travelers, yet close enough to walk to if so inclined! We stayed one night in a motorhome and didn't have to unhook the tow. Oh! The best part is the price! Wow! Great for a one night stay.Update: Stayed again November 2019. Still same review. Will add-a no frills spot and for the night, it’s a safe spot. We didn’t use water or sewer this time. Still a great price.

Price is right. Hook up's are good. Wifi works Sometimes. Pot Holes Everywhere. No effort what so ever to repair them. It appears that the new owner lacks knowledge of general construction.

Priced right. $20.00 for a 50 amp pull thru full hookup site. Level site. Unfortunately lots of standing water. Restrooms are dark and in poor condition and need remodeling. Roadways a bit rough. Mark was quite friendly and helpful. I'd stop overnight again.

This is a great little place for the weary RV travelers traveling the I-10. The spaces are long and wide enough you can fit ANY size RV in them. They have full hook-ups and offer free wi-Fi. The management was super friendly and even helped us hook up. There is also a live entertainment bar right next to the park! This place was very inexpensive, very quiet, and a well needed break from our long drive from FL to CA. Thanks!

If you’re traveling through and absolutely need hook up’s this place is do able. Otherwise with the freeway noise you’d be better off staying at a rest area. This park is full of old run down trailers. I’ve heard some of the residents have been here for 10 plus years. It looks like a rv graveyard. On the other hand , it’s cheap, sites are level, but they do hold water, laundry facility ( so so ) , stock pond for fishing, propane on site and best of all would be Mark who is the staff here ( he might be the only staff ) that will do his best to make your stay a pleasurable one.

Great stop traveling thru LA with easy off & on I-10 @ Exit 72 in our 40' MH. Nice fishing pond. Long pull thru with 50/FHU so no need to unhook the dinghy. We use our own bathroom. The $20 rate was welcome.

VERY LOUD, if you’re looking for a peaceful camp ground. People that run it obviously don’t communicate. Most people that stay here look as if they live here. I don’t recommend staying here, we will never stay again.

Having an electronical problem with the coach. Pulled in on a wing and a prayer. $20 for the night, and the owner helped me to restore power.Traveling to Houston, and very thankful for Cajun Haven.
