Of the two restaurants in Dulac...Louisiana, this is without a doubt the better of the two. They use a 30-year-old recipe for gumbo. I set all we cannot wait for the weekend till we got down there and I could order a bowl. The owners are absolutely great, friendly, and it is just a fun overall place to go. Good value for the money.

Ate their twice during a visit to the area. Incredible food and absolutely the nicest people. Go there and get a meal if you're anywhere nearby. Wonderful.

Everything I have eaten at Schmoopys over my many years of eating there has always been delicious. They always cook my food exactly as I requested. By far this is my favorite place to eat, great portions and prices. Many items to choose from on the menu and always friendly people and service. Food comes to your table hot because as it is cooked it is brought to the table. I can't say enough, just Awesome!

Jumbo Seafood Platter was amazing, enough food for 3-4 people. Gumbo was GREAT. Stuffed Crabs were out of sight. Prices are fantastic. This place was unbelievable.10 Stars on a scale of 1- 5........
