Quick and easy shopping. The aisles are a bit cluttered, and many things in the frozen section are tossed about, making it hard to see the correct price for certain items. It's exactly what you expect from a small town convenience store. It saves you the gas of driving to Ruston, but at a reduced selection and slightly higher prices.

At approx 2:20pm today (6/23/2018), my 6 year old nephew & I were standing at the register waiting on a family member. When he picked up a toy on the register, the store clerk snatched it out of his hands, slammed it down away from him and yelled, "You know what?! This register is closed anyway!" The man checking out said twice, "You must be having a bad day." With an attitude she said,"No, I'm just tired!" When he left, I approached the register and told her I didn't like how she snatched the toy away & treated my nephew & she should appologize. She began to yell at me using aggressive body language, "I didn't snatch anything out of his hands! I didn't do anything! I don't have to do anything! I am not apologizing to him!" It got to the point that I threatened to call the police on her twice. She should be fired for her lack of respect for customers, little children, and her employer. If she respected her employer, she would respect her job by treating people respectfully with courtesy. I don't know her name. She wasn't wearing a name badge or store uniform. I don't know what the problem was anyway. We couldn't stand in one spot? A child can't play with a toy?

Quite pleased. Had most items I wanted. Organized,& trying to restock shelves. Wait time in line was short. Cashier had a very pleasing personality!

This particular Dollar General was one I hadn't been to before. But, they were very organized and everything was easy to find. The lady who checked us out was extremely nice and helpful. Very good experience.

Generally good service and variety of stuff but the clothes isle is a war zone, so you can't find hardly anything and I usually have to track someone down to check out.

Much better since the remodel, except for the overly chatty cashiers. Don't mind being friendly, but when I'm so distracted by all the chat , i forget to get half of what I went in for.

The cadit card machine frozen up and took 200 off my card and the cashier said 8 didn't have enough on there but when I call to see where the money went the lady at costmor service said 200 2as 5aken off at dollar general 8n dubach la on Monday November 2 at 6 pm

Since Ast Manager Pierre has been at this Dollar General it has been brought up to speed clean store and easy to locate the item I came in to get definitely will be shopping here on the regular since I live here in dubac no more going to 167 Dollar General

Store mgr Karen is doing BEST she can with stocking and cleaning store....regardless of how tired she may be she is always pleasant and personable with customers...BC of her this is my favorite DG in area....

I love our store. We needed it for a long time. I rarely go to Wal-Mart now. Today I needed freezer supplies. You had all I needed. LOVE this store.

Five stars. Clean, well stocked, quick checkout, and friendly employees. And their in house brands of food (Clover Valley) are surprisingly good!

The employees need to start double bagging or at least less items to a bag. I'd rather tote more bags, instead of picking my groceries up off the parking lot.

Our local dollar store! Some of the employees are so rude I try and avoid going there when they are working but other than that it's our go to place when we need something and don't feel like driving 15-20 minutes to Ruston.
