There is always spoiled meat on the shelves and they constantly sell and repackage food I can’t believe the board of health allows them to stay open flies are on the food and there is no telling how spoiled the oysters drenched in filthy oily water with flies in it is. Donaldsonville we deserve better.

Johnell is such a kind and friendly employee. I had the pleasure to be checked-out by him after a difficult customer, he gained his composure quickly after being treated unkindly.

The only good things about this store is that it is fairly clean and location. When you go to check out most of the time the employees are on their phone and act like you are bothering them. Every time I walk up I say hello or how are you and I very rarely get a response, they don't even look up at me. They never bothered to say have a good day our goodbye. The prices are on average about $0.75 higher in which normally I would not me bothered by because they are conveniently located but because of the behavior I will continue to drive down the road to Walmart from now on.

Well, it's a good store alot needs to be done with management I know from working there. I quit recently not that I wanted to but my hours were not right at all and the woman said, oh you clock in and out on your own through the face thing so I handed my hat and shirt over n told her I quit they are yet to fix my hours. And tbh the store stinks smells like death okay the food that comes in off the truck 3 days a week are mostly rotten already. Not bashing the I'm just stating facts from what I have seen..

On 9/26/2021, I went to the Donaldsonville Butcher Boy. I shopped for the items I needed in the store, then proceeded to the Deli to get some sliced meat. The older lady in the Deli was nice and told me that she was there by herself, so she would be a minute. I said "no problem". Even though she was working by herself she did complete me orders. I proceeded to the register and the luncheon meat pack opened during the transaction, at which time I told the cashier that I would go get another pack of meat. When I returned to the Deli, they had called another mail employee, who seemed agitated and he stated, " It was his day off and they called him to come and he had just got out of church." He stated, " they do this to me all the time". I told him all I needed was another pound of luncheon meat. Another customer was at the counter and was trying to clown with him, he stated "I'm not up for this today", she told him that she was just playing with him. He proceeded to be rude and complaining. I then asked him if he was going to slice my meat. He proceeded to tell me I can do what I want and he was not going to do anything. He said he was a christian. I told him that if he did not want to work that it was between him and Butcher Boy. Also, I told him if I was contributing to his salary by shopping at the store. He proceeded to tell me, "one person shopping in the store doesn't pay his salary. The other lady employee proceeded to slice my meat for me.

Bought some fish from the deli. Got home to eat and the fish smell spoiled. I called to speak to the deli manager and an associate hung th my phone up in my face. I am a frequent customer at this establishment and this how you get treated when they sell you bad fish

My husband went to exchange a propane tank today (9/4/21) and cashier said they were out. He told her he'd seen at least 2 tanks and had verified they were full. He was then told, "We were told not to sell any more." Why would managers ask their cashiers to straight up lie to their customers like that?! We will not be returning to Butcher Boy again!

The fresh fruit looked rotten, there were expired items still on the shelf, and the cashier didn't even greet me, she didn't even ask for my ID and I purchased 2 bottles of wine. This is the second time this has happened.

Asked for a case of turkey necks and was sold a case of chicken necks. When I started cooking them I noticed they were very white. Called the next day for a refund and was denied saying I should have bought them back when I opened them. I still had half uncooked.
