Hold up…I am so impressed not only with the food but the kind staff. This plate was packed with so much flavor! The grilled fish was cooked perfectly and there was so many large grilled shrimp. The coleslaw was different than I’ve had at other establishments. Compliments on the flavor! So glad the staff recommended the curly fries over the onion rings even though he said that was hard to choose but hand battered fresh is a win for me! Can’t wait to go back!

This place has a very country atmosphere. Which I love lol. The crew is incredible as each member hired is a recovering addict and there stories are posted on each table. The selection is seafood and burgers but very filling. You can eat indoors or outdoors, and I would personally recommend the fried fish and side it's made fresh by order. If you ever coming thru this sleepy little town and come across here, don't hesitate to stop and make some memories.Parking: Parking is limited as it's on the side of the freeway but if you find a spot get in and eat some good home cooking.

This old restaurant built all of wood in Dodson Louisiana, offers a wide variety of dishes, I chose the Ribeye Steak, I confess that they surprised me with the dish, on time, well prepared just as I requested, excellent, super divine, very juicy, If you are in this area and are looking for a place to eat, this is the place, they will also serve you very well, it is worth it.

The town might be a speed trap, but this roadside cafe is a culinary catch!The food is a surprising mix of Louisiana and Mexican fares, including catfish, burgers, chicken, and tacos. The indoors are warm and homely, and the staff is kind, attentive, and goes above and beyond.I had a catfish po' boy with onion rings, and it was one of the best sandwiches I've had in a while. No-frills, yet tasty and well-portioned. All accompanied with chips and queso, on the house!A great place to eat, or to chill, if you're in the area!

Amazing guys. Amazing food. Great little cafe nestled in the woods of Louisiana. 5 star cuisine also. You’d be very surprised the type of food you’ll get in a place like this. The fries and the pork tacos are the best I’ve ever had. I wish I could give 10 stars. Also, it’s all for the glory of God. These men are restoring their lives in Christ and this cafe helps to support them.

This little cafe surprised me! The best and friendliest service I've ever experienced! Greeted at the door with a smile and ushered right in. Told about all the specials and they suggested many dishes due to popularity. I was really impressed with this little place.Parking: Had plenty of parking in front of cafe and on side of cafe. It's located right off of the road and super easy to get in and out of.Kid-friendliness: They r very family oriented. A kids menu is available. Portions are large and they also have a ice cream shop inside the cafe that makes homemade malts, milkshakes, cones, and dishes of ice cream.Wheelchair accessibility: Whole parking area is flat and easy to access with wheelchair or walker. Parking lot is crushed stone and turns into concrete as u approach the building.

It was packed and our party of 8 had to sit at 3 different tables. They were out of alot of items but it was Friday night. The food was delicious. We’ll be back but not with the whole houseful.Parking: Limited parking in front but decent parking in back if you don’t mind the walk.Kid-friendliness: Not great prices on the kids meals. They are $10Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair friendly inside. Tables are too close together.

When you order an entree you get a choice of two sides with your meal. I ordered the green beans and they were cooked perfectly. However, they added an ingredient which gave them a very "off-putting" taste. According to the manager, everyone else likes them. I recommend asking to taste test them before ordering. If you like them, fantastic, I didn't, nor did the other person who dined with me. Everything other than the green beans was very good.
