Dr. Jessica was absolutely phenomenal with the whole process of our in-home euthanasia for my sweet boy. Her communication over the phone with the whole process, to getting my the medication needed before her arrival, to her bedside manner once she arrived was nothing less than impeccable.I know my sweet Whiskey Roux isn’t stressed anymore. Thank you Dr Jessica from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for caring for him in his last moments with me and my wife.

I came in with my dog who needed a c- section, had a limited price point. They were kind, understanding, they worked with me the best as they could and i forever appreciate the kindness the staff showed when I was in distress. They delivered my dogs puppies safe and sound and everybody came out perfect. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Dr. Linn, she was absolutely amazing! She cared for my dog Naomi and I would love to show my appreciation for her.

My 14 year old dog, Kali, recently declined quickly and we needed an after hours vet to help her cross the bridge. Dr. Linn was there the night we came in. I could not have asked for a more compassionate and caring doctor to help my best friend gain her wings.

I brought my 8 year old cat in on a Sunday because he was not feeling well. Dr. Leonard was amazing and knowledgeable. The girls at the front desk were so kind to help me over the phone because I was coming from an hour away. Dr. Leonard had my baby feeling better in an hour by giving him much needed fluids, antibiotic injection and anti inflammatory injection. I would highly recommend anyone to this practice and will make this my vet now. Thank you so much to Scout and Dr. Leonard. Yall are the best seriously. Love from Bean and his mommy.

I have been bringing my two dogs to Northlake for a little over three years now to see Dr. Mallory Linn. I am an anxious pet parent and Mallory always comes to the rescue for any insane questions I throw her way (most the time I am over reacting). My dogs are also very anxious and there is no one else I would trust with their care like I trust Mallory. She's really the most compassionate, honest, and wonderful vet!

We brought our 2 kittens there when they got sick. We loved the staff so much we decided to use them for all of our pets needs. Last week we brought our male kitten Daze to get neutered. Every staff member we dealt with at Northlake was professional, knowledgeable, and really cares about my furbaby. We are bringing the female kitten in a few weeks and I have no worries leaving my sweet baby in their care. I highly recommend anyone looking for a vet to give Northlake a chance. We drive from slidell but knowing our pets are in the very best hands makes it worth the trip.

We wanted to take the time to let ALL the staff know how much we truly appreciate you. The friendly reception staff, Scout, and especially Dr. Linn—everyone was so caring. We are from MS and were down for a family Christmas weekend when our oldest Basset hound wasn’t acting right. Off we ran to Northlake and we were shown compassion throughout the entire process. Dr. Linn discovered a (unknown to us) splenic tumor that was ruptured/leaking. Dr. Linn hugged us, explained everything, treated us like family, and performed emergent surgery on our ten year old baby. Surgery and recovery could not have gone better. She called us with the benign pathology results today. Thank you isn’t enough, but we truly appreciate you all not just saving our pup’s life—but treating these two super emotional strangers like family. Dr. Linn and staff—y’all are the BEST!

It’s been a year since I unfortunately had to bring my kitty in for an emergency visit. The staff was so nice even keeping me calm on the phone. They would also give him the cutest bandages. The vet was very honest about the possible prognosis and did not pressure me into making any immediate decisions. Honest, fairly priced, and great staff! I still thankfully have my kitty today. I am so grateful for Northshore emergency staff that I am remembering to write a review a year later. Talk about a lasting impression. Huge thank yous from Theo and Madeleine ❤️

My fiancée and I brought our two month old bully pup in on a Saturday night bc she was super lethargic and kept falling over and we thought we were going to lose her. The staff was very friendly over the phone and was able to pencil us in at the last minute for an emergency appointment. Dr Floyd was very helpful and eventually diagnosed it as some very serious gas bubbles that were pressing on sensitive areas causing the lethargy and falling over. Would definitely recommend to anyone in need of a vet especially at last minute. We were scheduled and seen within an hour of making the call to see if they could help

I brought my pet in on extremely short notice and in dire conditions, and immediately was he given medical treatment. Without them I would have lost my pet. All of the staff are very courteous, and they showed that they truly cared for my pet. And months later when he faced another problem the receptionist Skye immediately knew which pet I was talking about over the phone without me even mentioning his name, and she showed immediate concern. I cannot thank them enough especially Dr. Leonard, Dr. Holt, and Skye.

My family recently adopted a pup and needed to find a vet that we were comfortable with, and that had good boarding facilities. A few people recommended Northlake. Not only was the facility nice, but the employees were super friendly! Ronnie took me on a kennel tour and took his time to answer ALL of my questions! He was very accommodating and made us feel like this is exactly where we needed to be. We’ve boarded with them a couple of times now and couldn’t be happier. Thank you for making us feel right at home. We know our dog is in good hands when he’s there.

I recently reached out for assistance regarding an urgent matter with my dog, Mila. Although the facility was unable to provide the specific help I needed, I was profoundly touched by the kindness and dedication shown by a staff member, Ashley. Despite the limitations, Ashley went above and beyond in trying to assist me. She demonstrated genuine concern, offered valuable advice, and spent considerable time exploring all possible avenues to help. It’s rare to encounter someone so committed to their role and empathetic towards others’ situations. Her professionalism and compassion made a difficult moment much more bearable. I brought my 8 year old German shepherd here to be groomed (he’s been groomed every 5 weeks at various places—military, we move often—for his entire life). They called me saying he was aggressively growling and trying to bite at them. I’ve never heard him growl in my entire life and he’s certainly never bit at anyone. I explained he does have anxiety and will just kind of run in circles and cry after being crated. I ultimately had to come pick him up as they were not comfortable working with him.When I arrived they acted like they needed the SWAT team to go get him out. I eventually went back there and got him and he acted absolutely normal. Whined and ran in circles for a minute. The woman had her back up against the wall like he was going to attack her. Absolutely ridiculous.I’m willing to give people the benefit of the doubt but nothing about his behavior was threatening. Such a disappointing experience for an appointment I waited two months for. Please train your staff better to recognize anxiety vs aggression.Hopefully they are better at being veterinarians than groomers

We recently moved to La from Michigan. We were given recommendations of good Veterinarian Clinics near our home. Our baby, at that time, was only 1.5 pounds. It was time for her first vaccine, after breeder released her to us. As soon as we arrived home after visit to Vet, she began foaming from her mouth! We rushed her back and was told she was having a reaction to the vaccine & should have been pre medicated due to her size. As the Vet, why was that not done? The next day, she began drooling so much that her neck, legs and my clothes were wet, even though I was continuously wiping the drool. Of course her Vet was closed by that time. My hubby & I took her to a clinic an hour away! She have a fever of 102.8, she was dehydrated, and lethargic by the time we arrived.The Dr. explained what happened & why. He said the Dr in our town should have known proper protocol for small breed puppies.Despite the first clinic being 5 my minutes away, we will be driving an hour to Northlake instead!She deserves the best and if that means driving an hour to get there, that’s what we will do!

The team at Northlake is exceptional! They immediately put us, and our hurt Mav, at ease and were honest about treatments without making us feel pressured. Ronnie, the new hospital manager was friendly, compassionate, attentive to cost concerns, and did everything he could to get our boy the best care at the most reasonable price possible. You can also tell he already has a great rapport with his employees.If you’re looking for a full service vet, this is definitely the one!

Can’t say enough good things about Northlake Vet Hospital!! We called late on a Saturday and they took amazing care of my girl! She stayed over night and after some IV fluids, was able to come home the next evening! The entire staff was extremely helpful and kept open lines of communication with me the entire time! Praying for no more emergencies, but definitely coming back if needed!

We love this clinic for our pets. They treat our babies like their own and show them the best care. I believe the clinic is under new management and it’s gotten even better since the change. We board our pets here whenever we go out of town and sometimes for day visits and they come home happy. I love knowing that if anything goes wrong medical care is right there ready to treat them. The staff is so caring and supportive. Best vet clinic ever! Cannot recommend enough.

Yesterday we had to make the difficult decision to put down our family dog. He was almost 14 years old and had multiple health issues, and it was time to end his suffering. He was a member of our family and we loved him so much, so we are devastated at losing him. I cannot express just how amazing Dr. Linn and the rest of the staff were. Dr. Linn was so incredibly kind and compassionate. She was so gentle in caring for our dog, and she thoroughly examined him and walked us through our options for him. It was very easy to tell that she is a wonderful, empathetic vet and person, and she truly cares about her patients and their families. She did not rush us at all, and encouraged us to spend as much time with him in his last moments as we wanted. She even cried with us when the moment came to give the injections. This was such a difficult and heartbreaking situation, but having Dr. Linn there with us was a blessing. I highly recommend Dr. Linn and the staff at Northlake, and I will definitely be back to see her with my other pets.
