This WD has become overtly lazy/ghetto and we deserve better in our area of Destrehan. Half of the bread had no prices, shelves were in disarray, self check out 3 of the 4 terminals had NO bags and the girl watching them was too busy playing on her phone to help people.Even a few short years ago, this was a lovely place, now it’s worth the drive to Kenner for a much better shopping environment.

I don’t usually review supermarkets but when I do they have live music, boiled crawfish, free snowballs, and lots of free samples. The store was super clean, the staff was very friendly, and the prices were great! I wish we had groceries store back in my home state like this.

Cashier was rude, prices are high. Just needed drinks, we were passing thru on a road trip. Go to Walmart to save a few bucks, this grocery store was almost double the price on the items I purchased.

Just found out today our awesome Produce Manager, Mr. Mike, is retiring. I really hate to see him go. He is always helpful, making sure the customer is satisfied with their produce. He always greets his customers with a wonderful smile and kind words. He always pointed out the new produce to try, and always wanted honest feedback . He gave great suggestions! He is an asset to this store, and he will be missed. I wish him the best in his future.

The only problem is prices. Poor quality of meat cuts and ground beef is a lie. 80/20 cooked and measured 1 lb of ground beef, and after separating, I had a 1/2 pound of each. That's 50/05. Give or take a gram.

Fairly typical grocery store. I went in briefly for just a few items so I didn't look at most items, nor can I say I have extensive experience with the store. One of the items I did look at was Ben and Jerry's ice cream. I was surprised to see it cost more than at the Whole Foods store at Columbus Circle in NYC!

kudos to the staff at this location! The store was very organized and well stocked. The staff were visible in every department and eager to help. The cashiers and baggers went beyond their duties to service you. This store is the model of how a business should be ran during a crisis!

Fantastic grocery store. Always clean when I visit, and we'll stocked with great produce. They have a decent meat section with thick ribeyes, and fresh seafood. The bakery also has fresh bread, and their cakes are very good. They have a good selection of spices, and condiments. Also, they have some harder to find items like compound butter. They even have a decent selection of beer and liquor. Overall a great place to buy groceries.

Love the Rewards program. Just wish they kept the Fuel Rewards as part it. Then again, it may not have been their decision. Some prices can be a little higher, but the sales on items I use on a regular basis makes up for that. All in all pretty satisfied with this grocery store.

I love Winn Dixie! We do not have one where I live so whenever I go home to New Orleans I make sure to visit. This one is particularly nice. The employees are friendly and the bakery and deli are excellent!

Out of all the Winn-Dixie locations this is one of my favorites. Cashiers are always friendly and helpful kart runners are always working so all the buggies are in the process of being returned to the store or already there ready for the next customer. One of my favorite locations for meat. They seem to be always well stocked and closest to the house good work guys keep it up

The staff always politely greet you upon arrival actually, the say Welcome to Winn Dixie. Ths supermarket is always very clean. The prices were competitive. Items I was seeking were actually on sale 👍. I used my savers discount and all was great.

Always clean, employees usually smiling and ready and willing to help. Decent on the go hot food, including crawfish & shrimp. There’s even fresh sushi made onsite. Their produce, meats and deli is of good quality. Four stars because prices are a little on the high side.

A quick stop for things I don't feel like driving to Wal-Mart for. You will pay for convenience but it's worth it in a rush. Store is clean and self checkout is quick. The sushi is horrible here. Don't get it. Gummy rice and ingredients aren't fresh. Everything else is great.

Only big grocery store in town. Need to have someone going into the lot and getting the carts more often.Hard to get in and out of the parking lot.Produce section needs to be reconfigured, so you can get thru it better.

Winn Dixie in Destrehan is pretty good over all. Excellent produce and prepared food. But they moved the liquor behind a counter so it’s almost impossible to browse. And the beer section is almost all domestics and seltzer’s.

Had to go to Destrehan for a clean store with many nice employees! Tchpoultoulas Streetvis dirty and employees not willing to work! Closes down the lottery line and had to go to down the street to the Shell to get tickets!

I love the meat here easy pickup because of signs marked correctly plus you get groceries or gas points to use when you ever you want. I rack up the points for 10 to 25 cents per gallon on my gas fill up

I shop here all of the time and this was the WORST experience to date! When checking out my cashier NEVAEH scanned all of my groceries stacking them without bagging, which gave me the feeling that she was expecting me to bag them myself. After totalling my purchase she reluctantly started to bag my groceries.....and as expected, she STOPPED bagging and started checking out the next customer!!! WTH!!!!! I HAD TO FINISH BAGGING MY OWN GROCERIES! last time I checked, I don't get a paycheck from Winn Dixie!

First of all it's very convenient!! Right at the beginning of my subdivision..a lil over the top with the prices but a good quality store...17th of July:Winn Dixie has made a big turn around!The store has been remodeled and looks awesome.. jus have to get used to the new look because everything has been changed around!!

Such great sales! Always clean. Good inventory. Prices a little higher than other stores and some item are outrageously high. Overall better than most.
