Great neighborhood market. Look for their sales and you'll get some amazing deals. Always love the variety of King Cakes during Mardi Gras. The bakery makes amazing cakes too.

The convenience of this store has been a plus for years. When it became River Road Market, there was excitement and renewed energy about the store in the community. They offered more items, bigger sales and expanded the deli with daily cooked meals and Wednesday steak night. Unfortunately, as time has passed, the quality of the meals has gone way down! Sometimes, the food is cold, old, or just doesn't taste as good as it used to. The store still has great sales from time to time, and that alone is worth visiting.

I love this little market.i always come here to get things i can't get in shreveport. From local beers to the inhouse made sausages.there is always a treasure to accure here. And when i look at the sales paper.for it being so small ,it stays competitive with prices. Its allways a must stop on my list when i visit my relatives in destrahan

I go to this place almost daily to get a fountain drink. They have the best insulated Styrofoam cups that keep my drink cold for hours while I am at work. The breakfast in the morning is always made fresh daily, steak night on Wednesday's is delicious and the pastries/desserts, especially the Rivertilly Cakes and bread puddings, are delectable.

This is a great little market that I have used for years and a wonderful alternative to Winn Dixie for those living off River Road. People are always friendly and helpful and they have a good selection of just about everything with good prices. Did I mention that my grandson works there? He's the tall, handsome guy that will help you with anything you need.

This places has multiple local brands which is great. The deli Po'boys are super-sized and extremely tasty. Get the hamburger sandwich from the deli, thank me later.8/2/23 We got the country fried steak and lasagna from the hot line and would highly recommend them. Great code for a hot meal.

Felt like I walked into a funeral home.I haven’t been to this store in a few years which is kinda why I went. It used to be a place my mother would take us to get a sandwich as they used to make them fresh to order by the deli (with a smile)! It was always pleasant. NOT ANYMORE ! I m talking … RUDE FROM BEGINNING TO END! Not one single person is smiling in this store. Zero employees even RETURNED a smile. The most I got was “you’re welcome” from a lady in a pink hat by the deli (which I was grateful for) And the lady who took my sandwich order was down right rude, wouldn’t look at me AT ALL and wasn’t afraid to let you know she DID NOT want to DO EITHER OF THOSE THINGS. The sandwich is VERY good (just like I remember) but I’d rather have a bad sandwich from good people! Sorry, I will not recommend this place nor will I be back ! Goodbye RIVER ROAD MATKET (the old Red & White) ☹️

Great lunch/dinner selection of different food. Its always hot and fresh. The grocery selection has just what you need if you're in a hurry and want to avoid long lines at those big box grocery stores. Nice selection of cold cuts and steak, roast and chicken. Give it a try

Their deli food is delicious, but last few times I have been, food sits in the window for atleast 10 minutes before someone hands it to me. There is no lack of employees behind the counter so im not sure why this happens. After asking for our food, we expressed our concern to the cashier and all she said was "aww, I know". Although the food is good, be prepared to wait atleast 20 minutes if you're ordering a sandwich and not a plate lunch. Probably won't be back for this reason.

They have very good cuts of meat. Their steaks are always so good. The meat is always so tender. Rather their meats than Winn Dixie's.

Excellent service and food! I placed an order from the deli and upon picking it up realized I would need more food. The man working was able to put together a large chicken strip tray for me on very short notice. Very attentive and helpful. Would highly recommend catering from their deli!

Great store to shop, kind friendly service have most products you would like need ,Nice produce section, hot food lunches, prices compete with Winn-Dixie or beat them. Can save from first-hand experience to apples tastes a hell of a lot better. Meat is First Quality. I really enjoy shopping there will return over and over again.

There's nothing better than having a "corner grocery". We gladly shop here as often as possible. Prefer putting our $$$ in to a locally owned business as much as possible. The hot food selection is great too.

I watched this Owner takeover a Store I have shopped at off and on for over 40+ yrs. He has converted it from a small Grocery Store into a Modern Day Big Style Grocery Store with a Great Selection and will do their best to carry what Customers want. Good Deli & Quality Meat Dept.

My wife and I ordered two large roast beef sandwiches the wait was over thirty five minutes. When we got homeopen the sandwiches the meat was tough , in big chunks no flavor wasted our money won't go there any moreWould have brought them back but the ride was to long went out our way to buy those sandwiches. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Deli has great dinners, perfect for when you don't feel like cooking. Small grocery good for picking up essentials but a little pricey. Steak night on Wednesday nights is a great deal and always cooked to perfection.

I was attracted to place because of signboard advertising hot foods which was a rarity since Ida hit River Rd & Luling area. I was glad to see that "someone" was opened & serving community out of power, especially the linemen & tree trimmers who work hard all day & night getting through the tangled mess of wires & broken trees. Great selection of hot & cold foods & groceries.
