Almost 20 years I’ve gone to this hardware store because of the people, the atmosphere and how they went out of their way to help in every way they could.Well apparently since the new owner has taken control of the store, those days are long gone.Several times I have gone into the store and regardless of what I’ve needed, I was met with a “not anymore”, or “we no longer carry that” (like something as simple as FLAT house paint!?!? Who doesn’t carry flat paint???) or cutting a key.I must say I am utterly disappointed in the new ownership and their choice to disregard or disconnect from the local community that MADE this store what it is today.Needless to say I would rather travel 20 minutes away to the Ace Hardware in Desalmonds before I step foot back in this store (which is only 2 minutes from my front door).Yet let them advertise about “supporting local business”… I’ll be the first one there to question why they don’t support local residents in return.

They often have what I need and are fairly knowledgable. It would be convenient having a hardware store in the neighborhood, but 5 times now I've showed up during their door-advertised hours (including paper signs) over the past year and they've been locked. That means 1/4 of the times I've gone they've been unexpectedly closed.This time, the sign on the door even said open, but nope. Dead bolted. At least they have a hiring sign hung, but you would think they could flip their sign or write a "be back at 2PM" sign.

The hardware changed ownership is my understanding. I sure would like the old owners! They are never open when I need them. I am tired of driving 15 minutes to always find them closed during normal operating hours. I wish I could speak to their inventory, but I have never seen it!

Needed to borrow a rubber mallet because my suitcase handle wouldn't go down. These guys let me borrow one. Very friendly and helpful guys.

Staff was more than helpful. I called first to make sure what I needed was in stock. I'm not from that area, but that was the closest home improvement store to the job I was doing, and much to my surprise it was waiting on the counter when I walked in! Far from a "regular" but great service to a stranger! That's above and beyond if you ask me!

Distancing and face protection being followed. Employee very knowledgeable, directed me to the exact location of the item I was looking for and even then backed checked the numbers with the worn out one. Also easy in and out. Don't know about night lights, but this stores closed at 6 p.m. anyway, so should not be an issue.

A little over priced, as most Ace hardware's, but has Exactly what you need, when you need itKnowledgeable, well stocked for that odd item, and local.Do yourself a favor and visit Ace. Get what you need. Go home. Fixit

I don’t know what happened to service in this store . I waited 15 minutes trying to buy one small item , before I gave up . The lady cashier was the worst . Sadly this is my local ACE store

Anthony’s Ace website showed an item was in stock that they do not even carry. I told the clerk that it showed the item on their website was in stock, but I could not find it. She sarcastically told me well we must not have it. Come to find out it’s not even a item that they stock.

I should have gone to Depot, The young lady at the register attitude was so nasty she made it obvious the my kind is not welcome.Im a contractor and if there s an Ace near I give them my patronage.Next time I get a service call in that area I'll gladly drive pass to another location for last minute supplies!!!!!!!😠
