They did pretty good for being the only dollar store in town they stayed stocked on their stuff pretty much as best they could. They did a good relocation of the staff. There's a couple of the staff members that my old lady absolutely loves. and they're always nice to her they help her with her bags just smiling they help her find stuff in the store and everything.

Nice dollar store when It first opened. It's a little crowded, also super nice Ladies that work there. But I do have to add that the last 2 months I've been going, there are boxes all up and down the aisle and only 1 person actually working getting the stock out, 3 people are normally at the front just standing there talking or on their cell phones, with only 1 working the registers, I've waited in line to check out almost 10 minutes or more every time I've been in there. I'm sorry to say but I'm so disappointed in this dollar store now. I've started going to one in Singer.

They are ALWAYS closing early!!! I know I'm not the only one.. if it's 9:50 or later it's up in the air if the doors will be locked or not... And they tell you they're closed even with you sticking your phone to the door pointing out the time😡 its happens to me a bunch of times... 9:50, 9:55.... I don't care if it's 9:58. If your business hours say 10:00 then you don't lock those doors untill 10:00... And ppl can say well you should go earlier if u need stuff. WELL.... That's not the point. The point is if they say 10pm then close at 10 pm.. Any job I've worked at that will get you fired or at minimum written up. 😡😡

Due to damage received from Hurricane Laura, this is the only Dollar General in town at the moment. It's also the newest location. The staff is friendly and the store is clean. It's located near the east end of town so getting into and out of the parking lot is usually an easy task. It carries the same items that other Dollar General stores carry and the shelves are always stocked. They have a decent selection of food items, too.

Well I will say I totally have been disrespected I use to be an employee there and I was treated bad did not like It there and every time I made a little mistake I would get hollered at are fussed at I was really scared to do anything and this passed Monday ai work there were 4 people there and I was the only one on the register how the heck do I have enough time to text or make a phone call when you have a line backed up so for that all you can do Is text there but there wasn’t anyone at the register when I would text. So to the know It all manager you are have fun trying to keep people because I heard from a lot of people they will never go back to that store. By the way the manager there will lie on you to the company so just saying make sure y’all don’t work for her she Is useless and won’t even answer your question.
