This store has had an amazing transformation due to the lady manager most recently employed there. This store positively sparkles now! Everytime you walk in she and all her employees are stocking merchandise. Everyone is extremely helpful. The employees always greet you and ask if you need help finding anything. I would highly recommend this particular store over All the other dollar stores! I can't say enough good things about this pleasant professional lady manager and her crew!

I'll tell you one thing, the manager in Moss Bluff Highway 171 Dollar General , was called to the front to help me. I wanted to get a refund on an unused, unopened AT&T phone. Nothing wrong with it except mother in law was unhappy with the size. She can't see out of one eye and barely out the other. So the screen was just too small. She basically said they didn't do exchanges or refunds on cell phones at DG sorry she couldn't help me. Basically like I was a bother. I get home from hospital and call Dequincy store just to see if that was really a thing. And the lady said they could to bring or on in. So instead of wasting $60 now she will get her $ back and will probably purchase one with a bigger screen from DEQUINCY STORE. THANKS ALOT MOSS BLUFF 171 DOLLAR GENERAL FOR YOUR RIDE UNPROFESSIONALISM. AND TO THE MAN WORKING THE REG INSTET, THANK YOU CAUSE YOU WERE SUPER POLITE. DATE OF JUNE 24TH AT ABOUT 11 A. M.

The store has very good prices and a large variety of items. But it is very cluttered on any given day and they do not seem to have enough people working at one time. The checkout counter can become backed up quickly.And the check out conveyer belt does not work. Half the belt is filled with store merchandise.

I find that most the staff here is friendly but there are a few who are rude and act very inconvenienced if u ask them any questiones. The manager is awesome though. She is trying her best to get the store cleaned up and uncluttered and she is always willing to help even when her staff is not.

There is always lines then the cashiers & management act like your inconveniencing them bc they have to check you out. There is one younger lady there that is always smiling & very kind but everyone else I've encountered there is rude they are sometimes on their phones the conveyer belt is broken they only ever have one of 3 lanes open you no your gonna be in line for over 30 minutes trying to check out. The staff roll their eyes at you. I can't bring my children into this store anymore bc there's always dollies & junk in the isles & it's difficult to navigate through the store. I recently took my grandfather in to make some purchases for his wife whom was sick that day & they had the music blaring so loud that we could not even hear each other talk & when I said something about it the staff just laughed rolled their eyes & got upset. This used to be a great store but it is now the worst store in this town to shop at

Rude staff. The store is always a complete wreck! Every time I walk through this place I am having to push multiple stocking car out of my way. The shelves are a complete & total disaster. This place hasn't only gone downhill, it dropped off of the cliff afterwards.

Prices are way too high for the quality and quantity of stuff they have I couldn't believe the prices on the cheap made stuff that this store has takes forever to get waited on when you do get waited on nine times out of ten something's wrong with the register or the credit card machine I do not recommend this store at all
