Eat here! They have hot plate breakfast and lunch. Think cafeteria style with a couple options. It's affordable and good. Staffs nice. Locals stop by all day. Come at normal food hours 8 am and 11 am for best selection.

Grocery curbside service is awesome and convenient. Ms. Gabby is a very friendly, thorough, and a professional employee. She is always willing to help in every way and she loads the groceries into the vehicle with ease and care during every pickup order. Ms. Gabby selects the ordered items and calls or texts promptly if items are out of stock or requires alternatives. Great grocery selections and affordable. One day, I may try the pharmacy drive thru service if I ever decide to use this pharmacy. Thank you.

I always do my grocery shopping here. The entire store is clean and made easy to shop. The deli is very well kept and clean. The employees are always eager to help and very friendly. I highly recommend them over walmart any day.

This is my employment, I couldn't ask for a better crew than I HV, everyone is respectful to others and everyone does there job. I've only been here 1 month and absolutely love my job. If your hard working you can move up the chain quick. I went from a deli clerk to Assistant Manager in 3 weeks.❤️❤️❤️❤️

This store is so clean. The Deli has some Bomb Cakes. The coconut when it’s been frozen and just starting to thaw is ahhhmazing. They have the best fried chicken in town. The manager Jason is so calm and nice. He seems like a good person to work for.

I’m looking forward to applying here one day. I have a medial alert and response service dog, and I was wondering how that would work if I get a job there. Where I would be stationed, etc. service dogs have to be allowed to accompany their handler to any job, unless they are preparing their food, the dog can’t be in that area. That’s why I’m curious

Kids (employees, mostly) are always on their phones and not very helpful. Managers are not much different. Pharmacy employees are very helpful and nice. The last time i bought meat there i got home and opened it and it was rotten but the expiration date said it should have been good. After bringing it back to exchange the meat (which they had no problem with) i came across two packs of meat that had expired 2 days prior so decided to just get my money back. Dairy area (never cleaned very well) always smells a little passed the expiration date. In my opinion, ever since hurricane Laura and it now being the only grocery store in town since Market Basket was leveled (not that it was any better at all) it has gone down hill for sure. Maybe not spend money on self check out equipment, drive thru pharmacy, and hire good experienced employees and quality meats, produce etc. But we don’t have much choice unless we drive to Orange, Tx or Sulphur, La which is what we’ll be doing from now on but some people aren’t able to do that every time they need to go to the store. The only reason they’re getting one star is because i use their pharmacy and they always treat the customers with respect on that side of the store. A++ for the pharmacy employees.

Some of the absolute rudest pharmacy workers I have ever met in my life. Kept getting eye rolls and scoffs because I dare need antibiotics for a bladder infection. Will definitely be calling corporate if the manager doesn’t handle this issue.

Great customer service, staff very knowledgeable. One the best pharmacy. My only complaint would be sometimes the motorized shopping carts aren't charged or they need service. But overall highly recommend.

For me it's disappointing that they have taken advantage of the community. The only grocery store since the storms and they hiked up the prices. I don't shop there unless I have to. They should be doing better for the community that have supported them all these years. Pineapple the size of a gulf ball 6$ dragon fruit 8$. I'd like to see the cost of waste from having to throw away the food people can't afford to pay for.

Love their deli's fried fish and chicken. Their king cakes are the heaviest I've ever held and they taste so good if you don't have diabetes you will when you get done with one of them.

The deli department folks are nasty!!!! but a few asked for a sandwich the women was scratching her head then goes to make my sandwich, I said no could you please wash your hands she roles her eyes at me then washes them puts on gloves then picks up dirty boxes with the clean gloves grabs the meat from the case then her and another women and a young guy working start arguing about who is to tear down boxes, I ask her to remove the gloves and was told what is my issue, I said issue really well the issue is your dirty don't touch meat with dirty gloves or bare hands & scratch your head I left the store and called the store manager and had the issue addressed with him but Lord behold a week later same thing, I will never buy anything out of the deli again it says a lot about the people working it if they do that then just how they do the deli they serve hot meals out of good point I think sorry to leave a negative comment but if the manager can't address the issues at hand well then maybe the owner needs to address the issues have a great day.

I was here to deliver a 36' cooling unit. One of the managers screwed up scheduling my delivery time and i got stuck here waiting for 10 hours. This guy only needed to communicate with me what was going on and i would have returned at the appropriate time. But instead, him and a very over weight manager lied to me causing me to think i needed to stay and wait. Makes you wonder if all managers here lie regularly to cover their mistakes. Im sure everyone working here has a story to tell about the BS they got stuck with because of these people.

Since Hurricane Laura, Brookshire Brothers is the only choice in town. The staff is friendly and they have an excellent deli that features numerous options including fried chicken, fried fish, salads, and more. As a result of the hurricane, the deli has expanded to offer meals on the go, dessert options, and sandwiches. The meat department is excellent as well. The store has embraced its role as the only grocery store in DeQuincy.

My experience was okay they had some good sales on some meat stove that were really good I thought and I had some brown court that I haven't tried I thought about that but their overall pricing I thought was really high on items that weren't on sale that's just me saying it that's why they got a three

All staff is very friendly and helpful. From customer service .. Bakery .. Cashiers .. Baggers.. Pharmacy .. And management. There isn't an employee there i have yet to come across that doesn't have a smile on their face. The store is also kept very clean and in order.

This is a great place to get food clean grocery store when you want to go you going to a barbecue that's where you get your potato salad and your baked beans and all the other necessities that you need for barbecue I was raised into De QuincyFriendly town they have a nice railroad festival every year in April.

I personally would like to see a bigger deli with a larger bakery. and I'm more selection of what brookshire Brothers should have to offer. deli and bakery need a clear division of departments it is very confusing to new customers. This is a small town so I'm not being too critical love the staff, they are always smiling.

Store in DeQuincy doesn't have a much variety as other Brookshie stores. Produce has gotten better. Used to not be as fresh. More expensive than the local Market basket. They do have great service in the pharmacy. Everybody is very friendly in the store.

It was will into the lunch hour, we went in and I wanted a burger. The lady behind the counter said burgers have to be ordered ahead of time. She then pointed to the grill and said it's not even turned on.What? How can they advertise burgers and not even make them.I went to mc Donald's and got such terrible heartburn. Thanks

Love this store, but I had an unpleasant experience with our cashier, Taylor. When we approached the register, she was texting (not a huge deal, honestly), but she KEPT texting after acknowledging that we were there. Just took her time to finish her text... in addition to this, she was not polite at all.she had the nastiest look on her face and did not speak to us at all. We asked her if she knew where a certain product was and she just said no and didnt offer to ask someone else. She just seemed very unfriendly and unprofessional. Definitely looked like she hated her job.

As far as small town grocery/pharmacy it hits the mark at 4.0 with a local hotspot for the highschool part timers and semi-retired folks looking for easy work. With good caring yet hard working people baging your groceries you can't go wrong yet closing the pharmacy on Sunday and banking hours takes a 🌟
