Living conditions of these birds are absolutely horrific for a company that “cares about pets” Birds are not meant to be alone, or under fluorescent lighting all day/night OR with only one toy that he can’t even access and play with correctly. food is piled up under the bars of his cage. Pet smart as a whole needs to do better. THE COMPANY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR BIRDS!!! DO NOT SHOP PET SMART FOR BIRDS/FOOD/ANYTHING. Look up your local bird store and shop local. Stop supporting this.

I have a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel. I have taken him for grooming at this store twice. The first time, I said I never would again. I did give them a second chance with a different girl in hopes that we would have a better experience. We did not. They charged me extra both times claiming my dog was giving them trouble. Prior to bringing him to the Denham Springs store, he had been to the Monroe store a few times without any issues. I have taken him to the Monroe store several times since, without any issues. Two different groomers at the Monroe store have told me how good he was and that they love him. So either the groomers lie and upcharge because they can at the Denham Springs location, or they mistreated him in their care and he let them know he didn't like it. Either way, I'll never spend another dime there.

I get my dog back and his ear is sliced open and his hair is cut WAY to short. When we arrived to pick him up the lady let him stand in his pee and then proceeded to just wipe him down, and say “ugh he smells like pee”. That is not something you want to hear after spending however much money to get your dog cut cleaned ect.

This is for grooming!Brought my two doodles. And will never bring them back.They shaved one of my doodles without calling first. I was told he had knots on back of his leg. I said do what’s needed, but that absolutely doesn’t mean shaving his whole body without talking with me first.They will never be back!

Scratch post said $69 on shelves and when I got to the register it was $112 . False advertising, should’ve at least honored that price. It’s not like I put the product there but I’m the one that can’t get it for the price that I saw ? Don’t come to this location, and it was a manager that was helping me smh.

Wonderful place for all your pet needs! Great employees and a large selection. If you can’t get to the store right away they have online purchasing and they will hold your items until you can go get them. Or have them delivered if you just don’t have the time. Great service, clean store, and adorable pets who all need love so head on up to PetSmart and you might just find a unique pet to love.

It was a very good experience to shop at a place where the personnel go out of the way to help you. The manager was the best, knows her job and does it well. If it was something she wasn't sure of she found out about it. I can't say enough about this place. I left very pleased with my purchase. Knowing I purchased the right thing for my pet because of the manager. A very caring person. Thank you very much I will be back definitely

We came here to get items for my daughter's pet and I asked the girl ringing us up, cashier # 689120 if I could run to the car to grab the penny... yes 0.01.... before we completed our transaction and stated I would let my daughter wait for the change, she's 14,.... she was rude and stated she couldn't complete the transaction without....the penny. .haha seriously? It's cool we will explore other options, I've never been to a place so rude over a damn pennyOur purchase was 22.01.... I just wanted to save a dollar with a penny.... yall know the struggle 😪 she was just rude and impatient over the whole deal....

Just have to say that I absolutely love having a PetSmart right here on Juban since I live close by. Everytime I walk in I'm welcomed with a friendly greeting no matter where the employee is at in the store. They make a point to acknowledge you and offer help. They have an awesome selection of toys at all times (I've noticed other places have half empty shelves for long periods of times) Definitely my one & only pet store that I will continue to use.

Friendly staff and overall absolutely wonderful customer service. During my first time shopping at this location, I came in looking for a certain cat tree that the website said was in stock at the store. Well, the computer was wrong, and they didn't have the tree. They offered to give us a more expensive tree for the price of the one we'd been looking for. The second time I came in, I was looking for a dog training clicker, among other things, and they didn't have the clicker, so they gave me one of their clickers from their obedience classes for free. This is by far the best pet store I've been to. I would highly recommend shopping here—you almost certainly won't be disappointed.

Great selection of dog sweaters. Also good prices on hamster cages. Employees are always willing and will always ask if you need help. I really enjoyed how the cats are kept work their cages open. Great store.

The grooming staff is absolutely amazing! They always take such remarkable care of my Westie, Juliet. After picking her up from her most recent grooming, I placed her in my vehicle, set my purse on the ground, and was going to proceed to get my children in and buckled. However, when I closed the door, Juliet had jumped on the door lock and locked herself inside the car. I was panicked. Of course, it was a super hot summer day. I ran in with my boys and asked the ladies at the front to help me since my phone was locked in the car as well. They were amazing. The store manager immediately picked up the phone to call the police to have them on the way. They gave my boys a snack and drink, and graciously had a bottled water and bowl waiting for my sweet pup once she was free. The officer came quickly and Juliet was perfectly fine. I owe this to the superb care of all the staff at this Petsmart location...thank you!!!

I think the way the lady from my dog's groomer treated me today when she called today to make an appointment for my dog ​​to get his hair cut was unprofessional.I know and understand that I missed 3 appointments in the last 3 months, but I am a customer and I spend money on your store and I have many friends who are going to spend money too. Our training with our German Shepherd has been awesome!!! The trainer, Lisa, at the Petsmart at Juban Crossing in Denham Springs, LA is magnificent!!!!! We have been through the beginner and intermediate training courses, and our shepherd has not only done well,but has loved it!!!!! Lisa is very knowledgeable and very loving with the dogs!!!!! I will recommend her to everyone!!!!! Thank you for such a great experience!!!!!

I absolutely love my local pet store! The staff is lovely and knows me by name. Its always clean, and they have the lowest prices. I go almost weekly w my dog sasha and she always looks forward to it!

I love that they will match their online prices. I usually get $4 - $5 off my bag of pet food this way, as well as discounts on most merchandise. Their Pet Perks Program always saves me money, and on many items they are cheaper than Walmart. You can get almost anything you need for your pet here and their staff is always willing to help. Also, you can buy online and then pick up in the store and receive a 5% discount as well as the lower online price.
