Our puppy is not a fan of grooming. But the groomer at Melly's got him to sit still well enough to do a great job. I also asked for them to brush his teeth, they found out that he had some food stuck in between his puppy canines and his adult canines that were coming in and solved his horrendous breath problem!! Thanks y'all! And Wicket thanks y'all too!

I brought my older, blind dog here after he had been turned away by another, "corporate chain" groomer. The staff here was great, very reassuring and obviously competent. My dog did did great with their groomer and the groomer did a great job on the cut. I will certainly be using them again! Sometimes it just takes a little time to get familiar with the animal to make that bond and the staff here at Mellys are willing to take that extra step!

Such sweet people! Affordable pricing, my pups loved going there, Hercules had such long nails because he refuses to let us cut them, they got him done within 10 mins, with a sweet thanksgiving bandana! Dropped my other pup, Scoobie, came back a few hours later after they called me to let me know he was ready, he looked SO GOOD, felt so soft, and too, had the cutest green bandana on. All the employees have such caring hearts and seeing them interact with other sweet babies, they really love what they do. I will be a returning customer! My babies were so happy when they came home!

I’ve been boarding my dogs here , I have 3. Usually when I bring them anywhere I get told how crazy my dogs are lol. Here they just get my dogs. I like the flexibility of drop off and pick ups , the price is reasonable, the employees are accommodating. They have runs for the dogs and a big yard for them to run around. My dogs are always happy when we drive up (other places they resist going back). I like that they don’t call me for every little thing when I’m on a trip . They just figure out a solution. They get a bath and come out looking great with new bandanas every time. Only thing that worries me sometimes is when you need to board you can’t book ahead of time, kinda first come first serve thing but I haven’t run into them being full at the last minute , so far it hasn’t effected me. I’d recommend for grooming and boarding

I leave a MINUS 10!!! this woman left an old dog on the table to go off n do other things, a girl pointed out that the dog had fallen off the table and was choking! The woman then got mad cuz the dog fell, the dog died because of the neglect and carelessness...

The young lady that took care of Megan's nails did a great job for it was the first time Megan ever went to a pet salon and had a spa day. I also learned something new with the grinder tool and need to get my own little new grinding thingamajig. Thank you for doing an awesome job! But I will never come back because of a situation with the family but if you were close to me I'd be coming back all the time

I've been taking my Corgi here for 3 1/2 years. The folks are friendly.... never had a bad experience.... Penny loves everyone there and is always ready to go in, so I know she isn't being mistreated. Love Missy Melly!!

Wasn’t expecting much bc of previous review(sorry very hard working employees)But they surprised me. They were quick even though we were a walk-in. And my furry babies are so clean! Do note their is a slight smell in shop but come on they do service dogs which is to be expected.

STAY AWAY FROM MELLY'S CLIP N DIPI was initially attracted to Melly's Clip-N-Dip because she accepted walk-ins. I always seem to forget to book an appointment for my four legged kid, Smokey, and then I'm trying to get him in at the last minute which is impossible. One Saturday morning I dropped Smokey off as soon as they opened at 8:30 am. When I pulled up I was having second thoughts about leaving him there because of how trashy the place looks on the outside but I decided to leave him anyway because someone recommended her to me. Around 4:30 I called to see what the status was on him and they said it would be about 30 minutes or so. So 30 minutes later I show up and ask why they didn't ask me for his vaccination shot records. I've NEVER not been asked and when they didn't ask I was concerned. They said they don't require the dogs to have shots. EW! Smokey has his shots but that doesn't mean I want him around dogs that don't have them. The second (and last) time I took Smokey there I was the first one to show up at 8:30 am when they opened. I asked how long before he would be ready. The girl said 11. 11:17 am I show up and he still isn't ready, he won't be ready for another 30-45 minutes. So I asked what their process was on grooming. She rambled some words out of her mouth but by this time I was already agitated so I said I will wait right here until he is finished. I sat down and heard Smokey whimpering when they brought him back out to groom him. I stood up after a few minutes to go outside but stopped and quietly watched the lady as she groomed him. Some other guy working there decided to let me know that me watching him being groomed only makes it harder for them to groom him. EXCUSE ME! If I want to watch my dog because I do NOT trust ya'll then I will. They had kids running in and out leaving the gate open. The place smells like a dirty dog. Its dirty. They leave all the big dogs and small dogs in one area together. If you have no idea what you are getting yourself (or your dog) into, don't even try it. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! I highly recommend ANY other groomer...except PetCo. I have a story for them too. I am one unhappy doggy mama. They finally finish with Smokey and try charging me an extra $5 with NO actual reason. She said we charge extra when they have fleas or a lot of knots, he had neither. As a matter of fact he was nappy and had coca burs in his beard last time I brought him and they only charged $40. Jesus was the only reason I didn't go OFF up in there. They are lucky I gave my life to Jesus. When I get home i see that he is BLEEDING on his back. So I start looking at him and his butt and belly have some type of dry looking rash. Now my blood is boiling, I'm so mad. I call them and ask to speak to the manager. The manager is busy so they take my name and number to call me back with. No call back. Right before they close I call again and they put me on hold for about 15 minutes, they finally come back and ask who I'm holding for. That's when I told them that they either give me my money back or I'm bringing this to EVERY review board they are posted on as well as social media and BBB.Moral of the story, STAY AWAY FROM MELLY'S CLIP-N-DIP!!!!!

Horrible!!!! Brought my dog to get groomed as I had been 3 times before for them to call back 4 hours later to tell me that they could not groom her. Also had to pay even though they did not fully groom her. Spoke to the manager and was not willing to give money back, and 2 hours later, still have not heard anything from the owner in which they said she would be giving me a call! I would NEVER go back!

I read some of the bad reviews and I just wanted to say , no dogs are mixed or make contact at the clip m dip , they may be put away in the same room but there is a kennel between all of them , no dogs in boarding make contact either , they only EVER reject grooming a dog if it’s harmful or dangerous to them , they deal with many violent dogs and they do not give up until it is absolutely obvious they cannot groom it . Dogs are not the same around them as they are you , they are strangers , a dog may be hard to deal with in the shop and not at home and that is completely normal !! Everyone there works very hard and cares about every dog that comes into the door. Everyone makes mistakes and with the 50+ dogs they get a week it’s impossible for 1 to not happen in ANY shop.

I brought my St.Benard to Nelly's clip and Dip after a long hunting trip to Alaska and, Toby (my St.Benard Wes well groomed and was well taken care of. I highly recommend Melly's Clip n' Dip.

Horrible, rude, and takes no accountability for mistakes! Like shaving a beagle Bassett mix almost down to the skin when the dog didn't go in for a cut, because who the heck would do that. Owner is rude, charged double and refused to refund!
