This Dollar General is great. They have packed a lot of stuff into their smaller store so sometime you have to look or just ask. They try to keep up with the demand of the people they serve but frankly the store is just not big enough. The staff give it their best though. They are all so friendly and will help you find whatever you need. They have run out of eggs and bread before but like I said they are a smaller store than what is needed. Even if they could order what we needed there would be no place to store the extras (especially eggs) till they could be brought to front of store to be sold.The employees are great and I have always had easy friendly shopping experience.

It seems like there is never enough employees working, I don't think I have ever seen 2 registers open at the same time. Plus they are constantly moving stuff around so it's never in the same place. When you find what you're looking for, they hardly ever have the price tags right. They usually have sale price signs (% off colored dots) up but...good luck finding those things...the place is a mess and there is always a half dozen different crates of stock just sitting on the ends of the isles..hey what more can you expect from a place where you usually only have 1 person actually working. There is no such thing as a quick run to the dollar general..least not this one!!! Sorry..

Terrible! The clerk was very kind and tried to be helpful but not much that she could do about the store not having any inventory! And I mean nothing! The was absolutely nothing left in the store. They run these sales, have coupons for Saturdays but then don't have the product that they advertise. So frustrating! Some of the items that they advertise I don't believe that they ever did have it in stock. They advertised a fold out table this week for 36.00 with an instant 7.00 off. The lady (clerk) said that they never had that table at their store.

If I could give this store a zero stars I would. This store is always dirty inside and out. Never things stocked, they are always in the isles where you cannot pass. Workers smoke at the front door so you have to walk through smoke to enter store. Their credit cards machines hardly ever work right. But most of all what bothers me is how nasty the store is compared to other DG stores around same area.

Absolute worst. Don’t know why I insist giving them a second chance. Not anymore. Went in there today to get one item. One cashier (older lady, nice but not all there) was the only cashier. 4 deep in line. One guy finishes his sale and the two proceed to have some weird convo. He walks out then she promptly abandons ship and follows him out leaving the rest of us confused. Next guy in line bails, leaving his stuff on the counter. She mumbles something about the AC being out and she had to catch her breath. By now the one is 7 deep. She then goes and summons assistance from the manager, some dude in dreads who opens register #2 and I’m up. I’m paying with a debit card and he instructs me to insert it twice, wait, then swipe. Some strange combination just to complete a simple transaction. I paid and got the heck out and will never return. Will gladly pay $5 more for pull-ups at rouses for my kid.

They had one register open at 430pm on a Friday. It took near 10 minutes of waiting in line to check out. Prices are decent, they had a few deals and store appeared clean on the inside and outside. It's close to where I live but will still drive to other stores for better sales and prices.

This place is a total MESS. Aisles have stock carts with products that need to be stocked but instead they aren't shelved. If you look at the extra product storage on the back wall, they have thrown stuff up there, it's not even neatly stored there. There is only 1 employee in the store the times we have gone because the others are sitting outside by front door smoking. Seems like they smoke more than stock the shelves. The store already looks run down, such a shame being a new store. DG really needs to visit this store more and get better employees and obviously a better manager. I would be embarrassed. We will not be going back and haven't since last visit.

They need to mind their buisness. Next time I hear about them harassing my man. I will be up there to confront the chubby fat short red haired lady myself. Oh and not to mention the clutter in their store.. ridiculous. I recommend the one by John's. Way less clutter.

Perhaps a change in store management would help this store. It is less than a mile from my house, but I won’t shop there. I shop at the one in Watson, 4 miles away. Why? The aisles are too narrow, are always filled with stock or displays, and two shopping carts can not negotiate the width. It is cluttered, not merchandised in proper categories, and has a horrific out of stock problem. NOTHING is priced, and few if any shelf tags show the correct item and price. The POS is often in place after a sale ends, leaving me to find out it’s regular price at the register. I waited with excitement for this store to open and I can’t believe Dollar General allows a store to become so shoddy in such a short period of time.

This place has gone downhill so bad . The parking lot is filthy full of trash . The inside looks like they been looted. 1 guy working the whole store . So disappointed, it was nice while it lasted.

I love this place, i go here everyday! The workers are the best. Its easy to find what your looking for and the brands are the best. Its quick and easy to get in and out.

Store number 17830 Denham springa la just went in to pick up a few things. All three employees outside right at front door sitting down smoking. The store looks like a tornado went thru it and stock still not put up from Friday delivery. This is always the case with this store. Please pay more then 8 dollars an hour and get people that will stay and work hard for a living.

Its totally and recently remodeled. Everything is fresh and new (except the employees, lol). Who wouldnt want to shop here? No one. GREAT STORE
