First off, I'm surprised how hard it is to acknowledge a great employee. You can tell the company doesn't care. There is nowhere to post. I'm revising my review to 5 stars after this TSC has undergone profound improvements under newer management during 2023. The staff is very friendly, responsive, and does its best to help you find the products you need. The Covington store is my preferred TSC.

Edit : management is still incompetent . I have tried several times to get propane from this location and they are never able to fill propane for whatever reason. Complete incompetence. Went in the store in the morning and paid for a large order to be delivered via the same day delivery service they advertise. Halfway through the day we called to check on the order and they had no knowledge of it. We were told that it would be arriving soon. 6pm and still no order. Called again and they said they couldn't fit it in the truck and canceled the order. No one called to ask or tell us anything. They just took our money and canceled the order with no explanation. We wasted an entire day waiting for our product to arrive. To top it off, they refused to give us a refund and said that we had to drive all the way back to the store to get a refund. Horrible customer service.

The trouble here is that some employees are professional and engaging. Others behave like they would prefer to be elsewhere. Love the store. I can almost always find what I am looking for. In this case it was a pellet grill. I was surprised to find exactly what I was looking for at a good price.

Came in for wholesome food dog food. Manager asked if I needed help. Told him what I was looking for, said they don't sell that particular dog food. IN FACT YOU DO SIR. brought him right over to it, shrugged his shoulders and walked away. If you are a manager, maybe you should be familiar with what you sell. ????

Not the typical store, staff is rude, they do not practice any customer service, was not helpful, never let you complete a sentence, they hung up on me as well, after they had me on hold for 20+ minutes. Will continue to do business in Slidell.

This is a fantastic place. it has everything. It is a feed store, clothing store (mostly western wear), home store and hardware store. It is a great place for the whole family to come shopping. They even have toys for the kids. Don’t get me wrong, they will have all your farm needs, equestrian tack, etc. But they have so much more.

Usually have what I need but I'm always disappointed in the staff. Highschool kids that seem to couldn't care less about helping you. Especially when you need something outside. Never seems to be more than one person working on the entire place. But prices are good and supply is ample. Just don't go looking to ask questions.

Nice well stocked store. Picked up work boots, comfortable work pants for $12.00 each.Friendly employees. Probably my favorite retail store chain.Just walk in one day. You'll see.

Great value on odds and ends like pet toys and beef jerky or welding supplies. Employees are always willing to help and have a smile. Location seems a little left of center but still convenient as far as feed and dog food.

They have types of feed that would take care of any animal you could own. Nice selection of overalls, shirts, pants and boots at a real reasonable price. They have a large selection of Hardware to fix you lawn mower or tractor. Also a wide selection of tools to complete the job. Decent selection and the grass and Garden area also. The only thing live they were selling were baby chickens. The staff help me pick out a bag of grass seed that I can actually use. I've been somewhere else and they sold me a hundred pounds of grass seed that wouldn't even work in my yard. I recommend this place

Good prices on feed (poultry, dogs, horses, goats & more) & wood chips, etc. They also gave clothing, boots, galoshes, toys, books, hardware cloth, etc. I've seen tires, batteries, tarps, etc. They often have "Chick Days" and look like they are set up to receive chicks today. The snacks by register are often tempting, too.

The manager Britney made my day with her excellent service! I desperately wanted a kayak that was nowhere to be foubd at any TSC. She was lovely and helped me get the last one available!! A++

Great job from mangers to staff. Went in pick up dog food it wasn’t on shelf store manager ( Larry went to back and got it for me they must me a high volume store from all the staff they always helped me get what I’m looking for. I really could do some damage in that store if I had no limit credit card ( lol)

Terrible customer service. Was in there trying to buy an outdoor dog kennel. Went outside and needed assistance but couldn’t find anyone to help. Found a guy who was having a conversation with someone else about their home life. He continued having this conversation for about 10 minutes when I finally asked if he knew of someone that could help me outside....he ignored me and i stared awkwardly till he finally said I’ll help you in a minute. He answered in a way in which was like how dare I ask. Needless to say I emptied my cart, gathered my wife and kids, and got the heck out of there. I’ll do business elsewhere.

Has a lot to offer except customer service. A cashier decided to make a personal phone call in middle of checking me out. Had to wait for him to finish before he would let me pay and leave. Very poor customer service.

Drove 3 hours to this place to pick up a pellet stove ($1000+) that I ordered online. It also said online that they had the wood pellets. The girl at the register said that they had 40 bags. When I wanted to get them, another employee said they were being held for someone else! I just spent over a $1000 and they wouldn't let me buy the pellets that were sitting there and were shown to be available online. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!
