This place is fantastic. Stopped in on a Saturday to check out the vegetable selection and I was overwhelmed. O'Keefe had exactly what I was looking for plus more and the prices are great. I returned the following Saturday to search for a suitable ground cover and was able to discuss all options without ever feeling rushed. It was old school customer service from a local business that truly cares. Definitely worth the forty minute drive passing multiple garden centers along the way.

This is a lovely local store with very reasonable prices. Right now they have lots of hanging baskets, herbs, and seeds. They have fun and colorful metal yard art in a side building. The staff is nice and we were asked if we needed help multiple times and offered a box to carry our plants in. They cater to more traditional plant tastes, but do have an impressive variety of caladiums. There are many choices for dirt and additives. Half of the inside of the store is devoted to pet supplies. I liked that they had many local items for sale.

Nice place, just wish they had a native plant section. Louisiana has such incredible natural beauty in its native plant species and they are low maintenance and better for the environment than ornamentals.

This is a great place to get advice on whatever lawn and garden issues you have. The people are clearly knowledge about their products and quickly offer assistance. I can't compare the big box stores on cost because I don't go to those stores for certain items. However, HD and Loews can't offer the assistance and knowledge this place can. You get what you pay for.Don't do like I used to and automatically think of the big box stores. If you need knowledgeable assistance or quick in and out or just a friendly atmosphere, this is the place.

Love this place! Beautiful plants, great people, excellent service! I shop home depot pretty often and everytime I go there I check out all their plants from the vegetable plants on up to the trees then when I see the ones at the feed store there's jus No Comparison.. it's blatantly obvious that O'Keefe Feed gives their plants WAY more attention and tends to them regularly..

Great local spot for all your gardening/homestead needs. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. They get a limited number of fruit plants and may not have the selection as big chains but they do have a lot and you should support local whenever you can!

My wife and I LOVE this feed store- the staff is always friendly and is very knowledgeable- you g and old know what they're doing and have great advice- they've helped us with our chicks multiple times! :) We prefer O'Keefe's over anywhere else to get our animal feed and dog treats. My wife loves their plant variety and the lady that's outside watering them is also knowledgeable and welcoming. Overall great store!

Very knowledgeable and helpful. Had everything I needed and helped load my truck with a large load of pine needles. Also, placed a large bag of grass seed right where I needed it. The young lady behind the counter knows everything worth knowing in the feed/seed business. Everyone else is knowledgeable, they do deliveries on time and for very cheap, and they always have a great disposition. I've used every store like this and you don't get any better quality people, products, plants, our education anywhere else.

A large feed store with a whole lot more. This place is large enough to keep most things in stock but still small enough to keep that small town feel.The owner, manager and employs really know what they are doing and all about the products they carry.They also carry a large selection of in season plants for both the garden and landscape.

They go the extra distance to provide amazing customer service -- even during their busiest time of day or season of the year. They have the best Christmas trees -- picture perfect!
