I'm always in the store and I have to say some of the staff are very rude there are a few nice ones but the majority are not ,so I try to go to the family dollar as much as possible!!

Usually love this store, but after getting my 3 year old dressed and driving all the way there to get him some chocolate milk and they had locked the doors 30 40 minutes before scheduled closing time, I might just change my go to store.

Nice to have the Market in our area. Especially great when I need produce and I Don't have to drive several miles for a bell pepper. Prices are good. My only complaint is that they only have one register open on most occasions. Sometimes they will open a second one if there are 10 people waiting. Today I was really surprised when they opened a third register. I am hopeful that things are changing for the good. I would like to add that the employees are always friendly and the store is very clean and organized.

This store is great. I love how its like a small quaint Wally World. Big enough for everything they carry and to not feel crowded even with 50+ people inside. They have fresh fruit, veggies, and deserts as well as the regular inventory and some other products that fit nicely into the theme of the store.

I love the idea of this market! They have a nice selection of fresh produce and meats. It has truly turned Dollar General into my one-stop-shop. However, every time I have been here, I always have to wait in a long checkout line. I can't even say they're short-staffed (though they may be) because I always see 3 or 4 employees, but only one register open. It seems counterintuitive.

It. Was very crowded. And No 6ft. Apart unforced. Today hurricane Sally hitting Covington la. No food yet. I got 1 6pk of toilet paper and 2 Paper plates. No paper towels took time, but I am patient. No gatorade. Employee from March virus left. Hard to find help. I was using a cart. I wore my mask and gloves. 1 employee wore her mask. Pleasant. This is the place I shop. Need more employee. I'm thankful for everyone there. Thanks God Bless everyone. During this hurricane. I'm east it's head east Not west. Keep praying. Thanks 👍

It's the Trifecta of Bad Retail:1). Extremely Dirty. As soon as you pull into the parking lot, you'll be greeted with a dirty parking lot, no lines marking where to park, oil stains everywhere and abandoned carts jumbled about, blocking off half the parking spaces. The parking lot seems to have never been cleaned or power wash since the building was built. Your first sign there is no pride of ownership.2). Bad selection. I have seen bags of produce that are literally SWARMING WITH FLIES. No joke. Clouds of some kind of insect flying all around bags of rotten potatoes and such. They seem to get the last, unsold product for one final markdown and attempt to sale. Never bought potatoes and have them already be rotten except here. Again, lack of care/pride in their products.3). Rude service. Long lines, new staff every time you go (must not pay well), and there will be three or four employees but only one checkout line open with ten to fifteen customers all standing in one line. The last proof that they don't care about customer service. Just putting in time to go home.I live real close but from now on I'll drive to Rouses.

Decent selection. A little bit of everything. Typically. helpful and friendly staff. Only problem I find is sale items are never in the computer correctly. So you have to tell the cashier .hey those were on sale or just pay the full price, kinda frustrating

Better prices on the things they sell than even the mega-retailers. Selection somewhat limited, but it's a very fast, easy, inexpensive shopping experience.Just don't buy the retractable dog leashes. Two of the three I bought broke within a week, and the dogs that broke them are in the middle of the weight range specified for that size leash (the largest one).Pet food prices are unbeatable.

Went to this store was greeted kindly. Made my grocery and proceeded to the checkout lane. The cashier had a very nasty attitude and was cursing as well. She was very rude and I really didn't appreciate. The fruit was covered in flies and some were rotten it was honestly disgusting. I looked paste it but their employees are just disrespectful.

Staff are mostly rude and non chalant and don’t ask a question or for help. The store is always cluttered with stock that needs to be put on shelf. Guess the employees do the work for which they think they are being paid for and that’s as little as possible. And it shows from the moment you walk in til the moment you leave. I personally spend a lot in this store but it’s never a pleasant experience it’s just something I have to do.

Takes 5 minutes to get items, takes 20 minutes to check out. One register open and 9 people in line, employees standing around won't open another register.Music so loud in store had to shout at cashier to hear me. Couldn't have a conversation without screaming.

I always have a hard time feeling like I am not partial to this place because I can honestly say that I helped build this store from the very beginning. I was a manager at this location, these great people work very hard to make sure that the community is able to shop locally and not having to drive 20 minutes into town for the little things.

If your camping at Land O Pines and do not want to go into town for some groceries then this is a great place to go. It's only 5 mins away and it has fresh fruits and vegetables and it even has fresh meats.

DG Market with standard DG general merchandise but with additional stock of produce and other grocery items. More importantly, every member of management and staff at this location does an incredible job. Nearly always well stocked, the store is clean, merchandise well ordered and there is always someone on the floor offering to help. Prices are better than any local big box and we've never had an unpleasant experience there. Whatever DG pays them......it's not enough!

I have a great deal of respect because this location does not have all the staff as others and yet they maintain the store like they have for more than a year. And they really do attempt to make sure that you get waited on as quickly as possible.

I love this place !!!its got all the main stuff you need here...... You can also get a digital coupon that makes you name brand cleaning products and food discounted ..... Definately a worth a stop shop..... I roccommend this place for everyone

Most everything good except there are times when there are not enough check out people you can have as many as 8 to 10 people standing in line with one checker and somebody else is in the back putting up stock

I go here quite often whenever I just need a few things. I have been a few times and they are out of what I need. Store always seems pretty busy but the downside is that you only have one cashier. Quite a few times I have been in the store and the Isles have been a disaster.

I HAD A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE WHEN I WENT. THE ADVANTAGE TO THIS STORE IS THAT THEY HAVE MORE VARIETY AND SELECTION THAN AM REGULAR DOLLAR GENERAL STORE. MORE OF THESE STORES NEED TO BE BUILT.
