I shop here regularly, not because it’s convenient but because every time I place an order for my husband or myself there’s no complaints about our food. The chicken is always perfectly cooked and burgers made the way we ask. The owner and his wife are nice and always respectful. Can’t ask for more out of a small town!

BUYERS BEWAREDo not go to Bayou Express in Cottonport Louisiana. They are Scammers. Check your reciepts.Last week I stopped to get a single laffy taffy and a single twix bar. When I realized I paid $10 for those 2 items I checked my receipt and noticed a bag of Doritos were scanned. When I confronted them they took the receipt from me, threw it away and gave me $1. Rather than asking for the receipt back to figure out what had just happened I ignored it, but I mentioned it to my boyfriend who goes there every morning for the same breakfast. He said he noticed each time it is a different price but he never really pays attention.This morning when he went to check out he decided to ask for his receipt. He noticed they charged him for bacon several times. When he confronted them they were trying to give a bogus explanation on how they charged him for each individual slice of bacon and refused to refund him.I am not the one to bash businesses on social media but this is ridiculous and needs to be addressed.

We brought two hamburger baskets and the bread was out of date with mold on it. Was told it was to late and they weren't going to make another one

Terrible experience at the Bayou Express with it's new owners. All I wanted to buy was a drink. I went up to the counter and the cashier looked at me with a disgusted look. I like to stay positive and look and sound nice to everyone. I said, "Hello, good day!" The cashier stared at me and said, "What do YOU want?" I said, "I'm just trying to buy something..." The cashier grabbed the item out of my hand aggressively and placed it on the counter. The item came out of be $3.01. I was going to pay with cash and I only had $3.00. Most stores normally wouldn't care about the $0.01 but the cashier looked at me and said. "I SAID $3.01!". I didn't want to be disrespectful so I decided to pay with my debit card. There is 2 card readers there and she REALLY insisted I used the other one I was going to use. I used it, my receipt looked normal, but when I checked my account I was charged $103.01.IF YOU ARE GOING TO BUY FROM HERE DO NOT USE YOUR DEBIT/CREDIT CARDS. PAY WITH CASH. THEY ARE SCAMMERS.

The spicy fish nuggets are the best and the tenders my husband likes them. They are very friendly to me when I go in. It's a very family oriented store and they make sure u are apart of their family.🤗🤗
