A good place for light shopping and quick place to get a wide range of most anything. Good prices, employees very friendly and helpful. Faster than walmart and much easier to park plus closer.

People are friendly, use to be a nice store in the first year of opening. It use to be kept clean now there is a lot of clutter everywhere. I still shop here frequently, but would like to see the business clean up.

There could be atleast two cashiers scheduled at a time during their busy hours.(I don't believe the store would be large enough for a self checkout to be installed without removing merchandise)The lines get pretty long while the other cashier's position is unfilled.I have waited in line for 10 minuates a few times(I watched my clock while waiting)Anyways, its good for a small town.

I have had great experiences at Dollar General in Choudrant, LA in the past. On May 31 we went to get some items and I didn't have my sale paper. I asked the cashier, Sarah, where they were. She just pointed and said " over there". She never once tried to help me. She was on her cell phone, I finally found the papers. After finding what we were after, got to sales counter to check out. My husband said the items were on sale and showed her the sale paper. She got an attitude with him. She told him ".you have to put your number in." We did not have the coupon ap. Then she really had an attitude real bad. After checking out my husband asked what the managers name was, she mumbled it. He asked again and still mumbled. He got sturn with her and asked again, the she said Felicia, he had to ask what her last name was. Again she mumbled. We will not go back to the Dollar General in Choudrant LA again, even though it is close to our house.
