Nice store, good variety of products. Prices are decent, but I wish there were more sales on fresh produce. I tend to just go to local farm stands instead for those items. Their discount card is nice, but the points expire way too fast if you don't go shopping there every week. Most cashiers are friendly.

I would give 5 stars, but they really need to finish the construction to the front of the building. Customer Service is good, and availability and selection are good. I do most of my grocery shopping here. After posting my review, Winn Dixie made the required repairs shortly thereafter.

Just left your store.... ladies bathroom is disgusting.. disgusting.... customer service sucks!!!! I'd rather go spend my money in Slidell @ their Winn-Dixie.

I shop here often and love the selection and quality. Meat, Deli & Bakery Depts offer fresh items daily. And during crawfish season, they're boiled crawfish are delicious and very reasonably priced! The rewards club can really help save you $$$. Especially when they run items with a boosted points value! Unfortunately the prices have gone way up! The coke prices are unbelievable. What you pay for a 12pk is what a case used to cost. My family has switched the Chek sodas.

I would like to publicly thank the bakery for always making birthdays special. Dana is amazing. I would also like to thank the deli staff, especially Ms. Kim . They went above and beyond this year, filled a last minute order and cheered for my daughter for her birthday. The staff at Winn Dixie is amazing and really made her feel special.

Clean, friendly, great deli manager! Has great variety of deli meats & cheese, also a hot line. I absolutely love there fried chicken.Seafood department has delicious, fresh salmon. Recently bought so fresh cat fish, came home cooked baked it, it was so fresh and delicious.

Normally like shopping here but recently found moldy bread that looks like it's been sitting on the shelf for months. And alot of the stuff on the shelves was expired, and unfortunately bought without realizing cause I usually trust it.

Great store - I usually come here whenever I’m in Chalmette. I usually go to Rouses for my groceries but it’s nice to go to Winn-Dixie sometimes for a change. The deli counter and hit food bar always have delicious options.I also appreciate that they have self-checkout lines. I can do that quickly and easily, even the vegetables (which have to be looked up). I’ve been going to Winn-Dixie stores ever since I was a kid, and they offered Top Value Stamps - so it is nice to see them still around. This particular store is a good one with a good staff, I’ll be back here soon.

The lines were extremely long. Some of the employees were not very pleasant. I went here to grab something's for my granddaughters graduation pool party at my home. There was an elderly couple there, and a gentleman that worked there accused them of stealing groceries. When it turned out to not be true. The elderly woman was hurt and crying. I think what made me not want to ever go here again is the fact that they never even once apologized or try to comfort the lady. Instead other customers as well as myself had to do so. It bothered me to a point to where I invited the couple over to my home to take their mines off of what happened and they had a wonderful time. I think we have new family members now. Treat people how you would want to be treated black or white, yellow, orange, green or purple it doesn't matter. I just know my family and I will not be back

I visited right after Hurricane Ida hit the area and even though they were operating without a full crew, all the employees were incredibly nice and helpful. They also had a surprisingly stocked store. There wasn't much I couldn't find. Definitely better than some of the other area grocers.

Great shopping experience, the sales and BOGO offers make it cheaper than Walmart on alot of items. They have fresher meat, awesome produce, super helpful and friendly employees, as well as just better customer service than any Walmart. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great shopping experience.

Winn-Dixie went there fathers day they had some great sale prices. The store was clean the employees were very helpful. Didn't have to wait long in the check outs. The parking lot was well lighted at night time. Keep up the great job y'all are doing in Chalmette, La 70043.

I love this location! It is always clean with fast and friendly service. The seafood department goes over and beyond to make sure that you are getting what you pay for. The produce department is the best in da parish! There are always lots of deals here. I save money each and every time I come!

It's always clean and peaceful compared to W.M. They are always stocked and have cashiers. I love their rewards program. The only thing is they are kinda pricy but worth not having to deal with the other grocery stores.

More people need to go shopping here! This store is the cleanest and most organized store I've ever been to. Also, it is very spacious, has such a huge selection of everything, and has stuff you won't find at most stores. I don't know how to explain it, but I feel at home in this store. Plus, if you are a beer connoisseur, they have a huge selection, especially local microbrews. This place, I feel, is overlooked, and is not marketed well enough.

I bought ground beef yesterday. It's already rotting. I researched and when it's brown on the outside refrigerated it means it's starting rot. Now I'm curious about how old Winn Dixie meat is before it's labeled to be sold.
