I switched to Pet Care from another local Vet. I was not disappointed. My first impression is always the front desk. How they are with my fur baby, how they speak to someone, how helpful and how much they really care. Tuesday was working the desk both Saturdays I was there, and she has been just amazing. She answered all my questions plus some, she is very compassionate and loving towards my fur babies. Once I went to the back it just went super smooth. The love and care continued with the vet and vet techs. They are very thorough and understanding of my questions and concerns. Thank you Pet Care staff for being super amazing!!

The staff is amazing!!! I was a vet tech years ago and I understand the importance of the connection that you have with the animal and with their own/Mommy daddy. We actually left a different vet in the same area because this connection was not there. We really do appreciate all the hard work and extra effort that it takes to smile and be happy, keep up the good work

My Pet Care experience was horrible!! The staff kept my boy there ALL DAY and didn't do ANYTHING!! They claim it's because he didn't have his rabies shots but the very first, visit they cut his nails with no problem!! I guess it's because I paid their high price!! My boy had his shots and I had PROOF, but they didn't even want to see it!! I really feel like it was discrimination!!

Dr. Jess was fantastic with our new rescue dog. She sat on the floor to cut her nails. She was very sweet with her. Was very satisfied with her interaction with us and our new dog.

I boarded my dog for a few days after Thanksgiving. It was her first time boarding anywhere, so I was nervous about how she would respond. The staff was so warm and welcoming, and took such great care of my dog while I was away. Truly top notch care. I will definitely be using their services again!

Dr Jessica and the staff are all soo friendly and informative. They handled my 7 German Shepard puppies with care and ease. Getting their first shots was a complete breeze!

We absolutely love the Pet Care Center all of the employees are always super sweet , supportive, and caring our dogs love them and don’t want to leave ! They are always very honest and upfront with no hidden costs and are priced extremely well. We highly recommend them for your fur babies !

Everyone at the Pet Care Center veterinary clinic is super nice. Dr. Maegan is very sweet. The prices here are very reasonable compared to where I just moved from in Arkansas. This is going to be my permanent vet clinic. I’m so glad my friend recommended them !

Just going to copy what I said on yelp here:I had a great experience here! I just recently got a new kitten who needed to come in to complete his vaccination and have an initial checkup. The receptionist was very friendly and got me an appointment the very next day without requiring a deposit. I mention this because I had just previously called a vet down the street that had way less availability and required a credit card to be put on file before the appointment in case I cancelled the appointment. That did not sit well with me so I called here instead.The tech and vet were both wonderful with him. Something I really liked was that the tech discussed all my options before the vet came in and she gave me a low and high estimate. The estimate was broken down so that you could see the cost of everything and she discussed with me the pros and cons of all the options. I ended up going with the higher amount (which was another vaccine meant more for outside cats because there is always a chance of him getting out and I also opted to have him tested for FIV because I would rather know. They did not try to push anything on me at all.The vet I saw was Dr Hebert. She was very friendly and seemed thorough. Although it will take longer to form a true opinion on the care here she made a very good first impression. We have to come back for another round of vaccines in a few weeks so I will update then if anything else needs to be said.The ONLY bad thing I can say about this experience is that I received a text later from a company called Trupanion trying to sell me pet insurance. The first came on Oct 26 at 1108, the second only a few hours later at 1649 and then a third the next day at 1109. At this point i messaged "STOP" back to the company and was unsubscribed. I have not received any subsequent calls or texts from them or any other marketing company. Maybe this is a partnering company, i have no idea if it is bad or good. I just don't personally believe insurance is a good deal for the consumer/patient in most cases.

Cery good with Fluffie. Explained wverything thoroufhly. I wish they hadn't waited so long to operate on her. We brought her before 8 am and they didn’t work on her until after. 2 pm.

After being just a few weeks late with my dog's annual exam, this company refused to refill my bravecto-- after going there for several years. From the company: "It is a law that patients must have a valid exam on file, otherwise known as an active doctor patient relationship, in order to receive prescription medications from a licensed veterinarian." I was sent there by my local shelter, and was promised a discount on heartworm treatment that never happened. They are also located right on the highway.

I brought my dog in for a wellness check and I have to say the staff is the BEST. I have never been to a pet care clinic like this one. When we arrived they already had my dogs list of shots and other cares that was needed for my dog. The prices where listed so that I didn’t have to worry about what cost the would be. I was given a brief description on what each shot was for and which ones where important to have. Love this clinic and my Skitch dog was happy as well. Very affordable. What I like the most is that a got a personal call from the doctor explaining my dogs visit and what other preventative methods of medicine that’s available for my dogs issues. I highly recommend this pet care clinic

Great care for my furry child..You are not treated like a number here, you get personal care and don't have to wait in line to see a veterinarian.. very clean and fresh smelling office. Prices are average for procedures and visits.

I've been going to the Chalmette Pet Care Center for many years. I've mostly dealt with Dr. Julie and Wayne, who have always been kind, understanding and non-judgemental. They helped me to deal with the sudden loss of my 13 year old Boxer, Porkchop, after providing excellent care for her for years. Now that I have a new pup, I wouldn't bring him anywhere else.

The Doctors and all the workers are very nice. They listen to what you say. They all do show concern, when something is wrong with your pet. I would recommend this place for anyone to bring there pets.
