It is unfortunate the convenience for coming to my local family dollar as it is only a couple blocks from my residence because I only have issues every time I shop here and/or any other location regardless which one I go to. However, I find that at this location particularly the customer service is crappy. The employees are rude and lazy. They leave expired discount cards on products and when I get to the register for checkout they never honor the price listed on the label, which in fact they should do. Not to mention the actually prices ring up differently all the time. I dont like the fact that they offer $5 off of $25 spent on saturdays and only allow you to use it for one transaction and you must have the digital coupon in order to utilize what they offer store wide. Dollar General is so much better in whole in comparison. They always honor $5 off a $25+ purchase no matter what and the service there is truly wonderful. I don't know how family dollar hasnt gone out of business yet. Probably because of idiots,like myself that continue spending their money there because of convenience. But no more for me! Im done after todays visit because of how I was treated. I absolutely will NEVER step foot into another family dollar location ever again.

Ordered something online to be picked up at this location. Received email stating it was ready to be picked up. Went to the store. TWO employees had no idea what was going on. Told me to come back. Refused to call manager or someone in charge for answer. I've called corporate and left countless messages via their online survey submission. Noone is helping or replying and basically Family Dollar either stole $20+from me or $20+ worth of goods from me.

This Family Dollar on Eazt Judge PerezIn Chalmette LA is not a pleasure to go in. I said after my visit there on theSaturday before July 4th I would never go back there.One of the Employees wZ screaming and cussing about how she was not going to get out of there on timeShe went to the door asI was Leaing Nd almost hit me in the face with her hand. I went back in to the store to complain Nx she told me to shut up and eave. Andsomeone who I think was the ManagerDidn't tell her anything.So no I only go there when I can get in fast an leave.hex.

So convenient and easy to shop. I live near so whenever we need to pick up a quick necessity they are there. They have name brands and a refrigerated section so you can find anything here. The store is really clean, well lit, and aisles are just enough space. There's plenty of parking The employees were very friendly and helpful!

The store # 8554 in chalmette la.is the worst store I had ever been in with the person who is working now I waited for about ten minutes at the register and had to look for the worker and asked if she can ring me up and she had a nasty attitude a d told me to wait and then told me that I could just leave and then took the merchandise and told me to leave. That's when I said if you do not like your job you can find another. If you deal with the public. I will never go back to that store.again# nasty workers

This is the nearest Family Dollar location to my home and though it is on a main thoroughfare it also borders several family-filled Chalmette neighborhoods. Though occasionally one or two members of staff change, generally there is a set group of ladies who rotate throughout the weekly schedule. Maybe it's because they aren't subject to constant location shifts, but these ladies are some of the most pleasant and friendly people I have ever interacted with in a lower-cost franchise like this one. They know their regulars and we know them and appreciate the way they run their location. They are all very different types and personalities, but they all chat easily with each other and the customers, keep their store and shelves neat and well-stocked, and all of them truly seem to put a hard day's effort into the place which is an admirable quality which is reflected in the impression the store gives those walking in. Even when it comes to little competitions between stores for sales of a particular candy or item, they truly try to make the effort to encourage a sale without being overly-invested and I usually buy whatever it is they are pushing at least a few of the times I happen to drop by when one is running on the off-chance they win some small reward.I and I am pretty certain a lot of their other customers, appreciate this location and the ladies who run it, especially given that within a franchise like Family Dollar, it seems unlikely that any of them are earning as much as they maybe ought to. Unlike the majority of the too-numerous-to-count dollar stores strewn all over parishes, the staff here maintain a well-run, familiar, and welcoming low-cost store, where they manage to make random and routine stops by their customers for one thing or another feel more like a neighborhood mom and pop shop even under fluorescent lighting. Thank you, ladies. Someone should give you all a raise and a day off.

I told the dark skinned lady and white lady that someone broke into their stuff and they think it was me ever since then the don’t allow me in the store even though they have no evidence when asked to speak to manager or supervisor they declined and kicked me and my friends out
