Had the absolute WORST experience with the Paris Rd store's pickup feature yesterday. At approximately 3pm I placed my order, reserved the 6p-7p pickup time slot, paid for the order and received a confirmation email & text. At 5:30 I received an email that they are still working on it and would let me know when it was ready. At 6:45 I went to the store to pick up the order and was told by the mgr that they have no record of my order. I showed her the info I received (the order#, ref# etc.) and my credit card charge. She proceeded to tell me that they were having trouble with the pickup process and that I could just go purchase the items I had already paid for. I asked about crediting my card but she said she couldn't do that because I ordered online. Finally at 7:05pm I received another email cancelling my order with a note saying my card will be credited within 3-5 business days! I don't know why my order was cancelled. I certainly didn't cancel it. I just wasn't willing to purchase the items in store and pay twice! The website showed all of the items I ordered were in stock. I've never had this experience with Walmart or Winn Dixie! This was the first time I tried DG's pickup feature and for sure it will be my last! The manager was very nonchalant about the situation which was very frustrating having wasted not only my gas but my time. I truly hope they get it together because the terrible customer service will eventually cause them to lose business! But to tell you the truth, I really don't think they care! I hope no one has the same horrible experience I did. If there was a negative star rating, they deserve a -5 stars!!! -⭐-⭐-⭐-⭐-⭐

This dollar general is always out of everything. Half the time I go there's never what I went there for! Very under stocked. But the employee's are very nice and friendly.

Friendly & helpful staff. Clean isles, shelves and bathroom well kept. Organized well and consistently stocking new inventory. Both members of staff were genuinely concerned about my shopping experience 😁

Not a bad store but the aisles were cluttered like many of the Family Dollar stores are that's why I don't shop there. The other store in Arabi is so much bigger and better. The aisles are almost always clear, employees are always friendly and the selection of frozen foods and other foods are awesome. Whoever the manager of this store is deserves a pat on the back! Great job!

The customer service here is great! The employee by the name of Katie fike, only know her last name because I heard her spell it out to a vendor that was in tht store as I was checking out, But she spoke to every customer while helping me and I still got great customer service. I love a good multitasker. Employees like her make me happy and my day go smoothly, I was in and out.

I love the location of this dollar tree, right across from Winn Dixie and easy to access. Cashier don’t wear mask and are rude. I don’t like why there isn’t a restroom. I love the valentine chocolate collection, yummy and cheap. I don’t like how there is stuff that is expensive here like 4-10 bucks. I love the earbuds for 1 dollar. I love the Roblox gift cards

The employees at this dollar general are racist to the max and Racially profile my little sister and her friends for coming in the store and “thinking “they were going to steal , when they are going to spend money there! They had the police called on by the store employee at the time this is awful for our nation to still be going through being racially profiled just bc they are kids going to spend money in a dollar general company.

The best Dollar General there is in the Chalmette, lower St. Bernard Parish, Slidell, MS, St. Tammany area there is. Always great service. Never a long wait in line. Excellent customer service all the way around from the store manager Mrs. Charlotte. Friendly & helpful in the store. 👌

Basic retail dollar general. A little clutttered, but aren't they all? The store looks a little run down inside, but the prices are pretty good. I was in and out in under 10 minutes, and I was shocked to find that there was a little assortment of food. The staff are friendly and polite.

This store on Paris Rd in Chalmette was clean and organized. The clerk was on the phone with a customer trying to help them. That's very unusual and extremely nice of her. Kudos to management!

I went to dollar general for a tv stand only 20.00 i had been shopping on line for one but the prices were out of my budget my youngest daughter told me about the prices I'm glad she did THANKS DOLLAR GENERAL A LOT

All shopping carts where outside, and they didn't have any dollar general brand drinks all out, another lady was complaining about this also.otherwise cashier was awesome.kuddos to her

Didn't have the items that was advertised online and paper. Claims truck didn't bring the items. I asked about a rain check they claim no rain checks or given. This is the 3rd time this happened
